'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2080 Recap - Aired: Thursday 13 July 2017

Salewa is with Maami at home.
Maami asks what sort of person her supervisor is to remember something from 4 years back.
Salewa says she had to get on her knees and beg but he finally approved her project.
Maami says after graduation, it's marriage.
Salewa says she's not ready.
Maami says she wants to carry her grandchildren.

Salewa asks what happens if she gets married but doesn't get pregnant for a decade.
Maami says no way, she gets married and gets pregnant immediately.

Brenda gives the crumpled list to Victoria to go through and get back to her.

She receives a call from IK and tells him about the list.
He's surprised.
She says he is giving Serena wings by telling her to always come to Brenda when she needs something.
IK says he's only trying to help.
Brenda says his heart is in a good place but she knows how actors can get as she has worked with them for a long time.
He says Serena is not an actor.
Brenda says she’s the mother of one and she will walk all over them if they let her.
He says they will cross that bridge when they get to it and he trusts between her and Charles all that has to do with Alexis will be properly handled.
She says she wanted to be sure they are on the same side.
He says when he changes sides she wouldn't need to guess.

Salewa and her friends are at Ziggy’s.
Helen tells Salewa that she's lucky that her supervisor finally approved her project.

Shoshanna says she found out something about Obiora; he's very okay.
They ask how.
She says he and Frank have been investing in this scheme called ‘Give to Get’ and they've been cleaning out.
Salewa says now she likes him because he has money.
Sho says she never hated him but Obiora is in love with her and he can Give to Get’ with her.
Salewa asks if she will now sleep with him for money.
Sho says no but he can get some of her attention if he gives her some of the money.

la!de is in Amaka's office.
She tells Amaka that she's glowing and it might be a direct effect of being Mrs Horsfall.
Amaka says she's not Mrs Horsfall but Amaka Ade-Williams.
la!de asks if she won't change her name.
Amaka asks if la!de would change her name at her age.
la!de says she would if she loves the man.
Amaka says she won't give up the name and Dikibo would have to deal with it.
la!de asks if he wants her to change the name.
Amaka says he does and wants to adopt Tochi.
la!de says that's so sweet.
Amaka says Dikibo will not let her give up on who she is; she's not that sentimental.
la!de says Amaka is actually very sentimental but just not with Dikibo.
Amaka asks if she's referring to that thing with Sheila at the spa.
la!de says it's not about Nero at all but Amka is holding on to Fred's name even after she is married and that's quite sentimental.
Amaka says Dikibo is a good man but she's not Mrs Horsfall; Amaka Ade Williams it is.

Joanne is with Sheila at the spa.
She asks if Sheila actually believed that Amaka was just speaking generally about her love life.
Sheila says she can't see into her heart to know.
Joanne says Amaka is lucky because if it were her, the delusional hold digger would have heard a thing or two.
Sheila says Amaka's not a gold digger.
Joanne says she's just married to a rich old man she clearly doesn't love and has the hots for her ex; what else do they need, a placard?
Sheila says they shouldn't give a dog a bad name just to hang it.
Joanne laughs and asks if Sheila just called their innocent friend a dog.
Sheila says she knows exactly what she means.
Joanne says it's interesting how Amaka turned things around on Sheila and Sheila apologised.
Sheila says she and Joanne are the only people who think Amaka is up to no good.
Joanne tries to think of who is on Amaka's side.
She says la!de talks from both sides of her mouth.
Sheila says Nero dismissed her worries and told her that Amaka has moved on and she should do the same.
Joanne says she agrees with him.
Sheila says Amaka casually let it slip that she and Nero have been seeing each other.
Joanne says no.
Sheila says they are friends and Amaka is helping him with Odyssey.
Joanne scoffs and asks if that isn't Sheila's job as she used to run Reel Studios.
Sheila says he has known Amaka longer.
Joanne says they both know that is all BS; Amaka isn't really the problem, she is but Nero is enabling her so what's his end game?

Salewa and Helen come home.
Maami asks for Shoshanna.
Salewa says she's has gone home.
Maami says she wanted Shoshanna to give her opinion on the clothes she bought since Shoshanna knows fashion.
Helen asks Maami if she sells clothes now.
Maami says she got the clothes for Salewa.
She shows them to Salewa and says she doesn’t like Salewa's regular outfits so she got her these ones so that she can attract fine and rich men.
Helen laughs.
Salewa tells her it's not funny.
She tells Maami to drop the issue about marriage.
Maami says she should be able to speak her mind and say what she feels and she's saying she doesn't like Salewa's clothes.
Salewa tells her to return the clothes as she won't wear them.
She leaves the room.
Maami tells Helen to talk to Salewa.

Serena and Alexis are at home, going over the script.

Zane returns home and Alexis is excited to see him.
He gives her a kiss then tells her to go inside so he can talk to mummy.

Alexis leaves and Zane asks Serena how come they are sharing a room.
She asks how come he's just noticing.
He tells her to answer the question.
She says it's a two bedroom flat and Alexis wanted her space so how was she supposed to split it?
He tells her that Alexis wanted them to live together and it wouldn't matter to her if she had to share a room with Serena.
Serena says Alexis insisted and she wasn't going to say no to her.
She asks why they can't go back to the way things were since he agrees Alexis wants them to live like a family.
Zane says Alexis wants them to live like a family not be a family.
Serena says they once loved each other.
She begs that they go back to what it was.
She softens her tone and touches his arm.
She begs him to allow her take him back there.
He pulls his arm away.

Obiora joins Sho at her table.
He asks why she didn't go with her friends.
She says she has a lot on her mind.
He asks what it is.
She says she needs to get a makeup kit for her business.
He asks if she can't use her own make up.
She fakes tears and says she needs to get professional products so people can take her seriously.
He tells her to cheer up; at least Ene gave her a job.
She says she can't cheer up when she's such a failure.
She asks where she can get the money for the makeup kit.

Zane tells Serena that whatever happened was in the past and he would like to keep it that way.
She says she thought he and Brenda were done.
He says it doesn't mean he can jump into bed with the next woman.
She says she's not another woman, she was his woman before Brenda and she can be his woman again if he lets her, they can take things slowly.
He says they are not taking anything slowly so she needs to stop.
She acts like she’s about to cry.
He tells her not to cry.
She jumps into his arms and begs him to hold her.
She starts kissing him.
He pushes her aside and leaves the couch.
He tells her to stop it.
She tells him to look after Alexis as she needs to get some air.
She slams the door on her way out.

Dr Gyang and Dikibo are having lunch in a restaurant.
Gyang says even with a woman close to one's age, the early stages of marriage can be pretty tough.
Dikibo says he's right but he thought after all they've been through, it was going to be smooth.
Gyang says Amaka is a tough woman so he needs patience.
Dikibo says he doesn't like the idea of sitting and waiting for Amaka to wake up.
Gyang says he can't force her.
Dikibo says he can make her see that he means business and he will need Gyang's help that was why he needed to see him.
Gyang says so he didn't just buy him lunch because he's the most respectable friend he has.
They laugh.

Charles gives Rhoda a task to do and tells her to make sure she gets it done.
She asks if she has done anything wrong since she started working.
He says he's sorry but just wants everyone to be at their best.
She says no problem.

Nnenna rushes in with her phone and tells Charles that the blogger has written a rejoinder.
Charles reads it and says the blogger said he would take up the challenge if Charles doesn't cancel it
Rhoda tells him to ignore it as it's just Internet bullying.
Charles says he can't let the person walk all over him.
Nnenna says they can't let him win.
Rhoda says it's not a competition.
She asks Charles if he's ready to go down and dirty with the blogger.
Charles says he will ignore.
Nnenna is about to protest but Charles says he doesn't want to hear it.

Amaka and Nero are having lunch.
She asks why he dismissed the pictures.
He says he didn't like them as there was no connection.
Amaka says she liked the one with the elderly woman.
Nero says he won't approve average.
Amaka says Angela was high functioning.
Nero says he think it's a brilliant idea to mirror Angela’s life and pad it with a lot of fiction.
He says Amaka made him see the connection between what he wants and what he already has.
She tells him to take all the credit.
He says she made him see the connection; she's an intelligent woman and he's always admired that about her.

Serena is in a bar.
She calls IK.
He asks if it's a bad time.
She says she's just having a drink all by herself at Ziggy’s.
He says something struck him when they talked earlier; she said she was happy to have someone on her side.
She says she was just feeling sorry for herself.
He says he knows Brenda has a strong personality and he hopes she doesn't feel overwhelmed by her.
Serena says they have history but it's sorted now.
He says anytime she wants to have a drink, she should allow him to buy her one
She says he's so sweet.
He says anything for the mother of his star actor.

Nero comes to see Sheila at home.
She is lounging by the pool, reading a magazine.
She doesn't look up when he says 'Hey Beautiful'
He says he has found a perfect story premise for the film project.
She asks when he was going to tell her that he's been seeing Amaka behind her back.
He tries to speak but she cuts him off and says he's enabling Amaka's pertinence and she's the one bearing the brunt of it.
She asks if he knows how foolish it makes her feel.
Nero says it's nothing,
She says she doesn't care but he should keep her away from whatever game he and Amaka are playing; she's not a child and won't be treated like one, not by him or anybody.
She stands up and tells him to show himself out when he wants to leave.
She walks away.
