Monster Unleashed - Season 1 - Episode 59
“Nothing.” I said flatly. “At least not yet.”
Cynthia and Nancy were seated on the same couch. Cynthia had just been informed by the bodyguard that I had gone M.I.A with the twins and she was contemplating calling the police when I called.
“Cathy,” Cynthia sobbed. “Am begging you, please spare my babies. They are my life. Besides, they are innocent.”
“Relax, they are my nephews and I have a soft spot for them. I won’t do anything to them.”
“Then why have you kidnapped them?” she asked.
“Good question you have there.” I scoffed. “Why have I kidnapped them? It’s simple, to use them as bait.”
“Bait?”
“Yes, I want you to come to the adress that I’ll text you. And yeah, don’t try double crossing me cause I won’t think twice about putting bullets in your children’s skulls. Now, give the phone to Nancy.”
Cynthia said. “She’s not here.”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Cynthia, Nancy’s seated right next to you so just give her the phone. I have eyes and ears everywhere so don’t try outsmarting me. Give the phone to Nancy please.”
Cynthia obeyed.
“If it isn’t my lovely backstabbing cousin.” I mockingly said when Nancy was on the phone.
“You aren’t gonna stop this madness, are you?”
I shook my head. “Not until you and Cynthia are six feet under, dead!”
“Well guess what? You aren’t having me.”
“Oh really?” I gloatingly said. “If I were you, I would take back my words if I want to see my son alive.”
“My son? Wait a minute, do you mean to say-”
“Yes. Yes.” I cut her short. “Your son’s here with his cousins. If you want to see him alive, come to the adress I’ll text both of you shortly. I repeat, no police!”
And I cut the line. Smiling, I sent them the adress.
Rodgers gave me a call. “Madam,” he said, “I have the things you asked for.”
“Fantastic! I’ll send you the adress where you can drop the things and get your money. You’re such a darling.”
I cut the line, staring at the confused Nancy and Cynthia on my PC’s screen and at the twins who were sound asleep on the mattress.
I muttered under my breath. “Let the final showdown begin!”
