I was seated on my couch watching the 7 PM ZNBC news. The news anchor was saying, “Mr. Jeffrey Banda went over to Kamwala Police station this afternoon and created a scene saying the Zambian police are incompetent as they have failed to locate Ms. Catherine Chilumba who is allegedly responsible for the death of his only two sons, Jason and Justin Banda. Mr. Banda senior also voiced out the concern that he has lost his only two sons within three months and that-”
I clicked my tongue and changed the channel. I would rather watch Forbidden Love despite it being super boring than listen to the stupid ranting of Mr. Banda senior. Wasn’t he the one who had promised on Justin’s funeral to say he’d find me and make me pay for his son’s death? So why was he now blaming the police?

He’s the one that’s incompetent. I thought.
It had been six weeks since I had committed Jason’s homicide and now only two people were left on my list, Cynthia and Nancy.

I was still thinking of the perfect way of luring them out of the house cause they had practically become confined to the mansion. They had both stopped going for work making it difficult for me to lure them out cause they had hired two bodyguards who took turns guarding the mansion, 24/7.

I was still seated on the couch when a vague idea popped up in my mind.

Yes.. I know exactly how to get them out of the house.

Excited, I grabbed my phone and gave Rodgers a call.

“Yes, boss?” said Rodgers on the other end of the line.

“Yes my man. You good?”
“Am doing fine so so though you’ve deserted me recently.”

“Then brace yourself cause I’ve got a job for you.” I said.

“Humor me.”

“Tomorrow, I’ll send you an adress where I should find you. Your task will be to watch over and follow two women. I’ll give you more details tomorrow.”
“Okay. Anything else, boss?”
“No, that’s all for now.”
