At 5 AM the following day, I woke up and gave my errand boy, Rodgers a call.

“To what do I awe this morning call?” said Rodgers enthusiastically on the other end of the line.
“I’ve got an errand I would like you to run.” I replied.
“Am all ears.” he said.
“Great, let’s meet up at Levy junction.”
Clad in a black pencil dress, black pumps and black earrings, I drove to Levy junction.
Upon arrival, Rodgers hopped into my car. This time I had no mafia mask on except the plastic mask.
“Here,” I said to Rodgers, handing him my camera. “I want you to make hard copies of these pics for me. Do you think you can do that?”

Rodgers nodded fervently. “That’s as easy as taking candy from a child.” he chuckled, grabbing the camera from my firm grip. He immediately began going through the pics and I could see his face turn pale in awe.
“Jesus!” he exclaimed. “Who did this?”
I sighed and blushed, enjoying the fear I had instilled in him. “Me.” I flatly said and Rodgers shot me a fearful look. “And if you dare betray me, much worse will befall you!”
“I..” he stammered. “I.. I wouldn’t even dream of doing so!”

“Good. Now, have you brought the micro cameras I asked you to bring?”

He nodded, producing tiny cameras from his b----t pocket.

“You sure these work?” I asked him.
“Yes.”

“Alright,” I said, handing him the urn that contained Justin’s ashes. “Keep that safe. I’ll give you a call this evening and tell you what to do with them. Don’t forget the pics too.”

“I won’t.”

When I arrived at work, I was still clad in the black clothes.
“Aunty,” said one of Cynthia’s twins briskly when he saw me, “why are you dressed like those white people in t.v when they are attending funerals?”
I couldn’t help but laugh as I lifted him. “Aunty was given these clothes as a gift.” I lied. “And it’s bad manners to reject a gift you hear, Amos?”
The boy nodded. We were now in the hallway leading to the kitchen. “Where’s Alex?” I asked the little boy.
“He’s with mummy.”
“Jesus, Mable!” exclaimed Agnes when I stepped into the kitchen. “What’s with the black outfit? Whose funeral is it?”
I smiled. “No one’s.” I said, shrugging and putting Amos down. “The little one asked me the same thing.” I added, pointing at Amos.

Cynthia and Nancy also asked about the black outfit and I told them the same lie I’d told Amos.

“Where’s Mr. Justin today ai?” I asked as I washed the dishes after the family was done having breakfast. “I haven’t seen him today. Is he out of town or something?”

Agnes joined me at the sink. She glanced around making sure we were out of earshot and said, “Haven’t you noticed that Cynthia witch is in a sour mood today?”
I shrugged. “No, you know I rarely pay attention to her.”

“Ok,” Agnes whispered back. I braced myself for the gossip that was coming my way. Being a living in maid, Agnes practically spied the family and gave me hot gossip the following day. She went on, “I hear Mr. Justin went out last night and didn’t turn up. Cynthia’s convinced he’s having an affair somewhere. Both her and Mr. Jason have tried to reach him this morning but his line isn’t going through.” She paused, sighing. “I don’t blame the man for cheating, that’s if he indeed is. His wife is a nagging b---h who doesn’t cut him some slack so his actions are justified. But I pity him for when he returns.”
“Why?” I asked.
“Cause all hell will break loose.” Agnes replied, going back to cleaning the fridge. “Lord help us. There’s gonna be so much chaos in this house.”
Silence.

“And how is madam Nancy doing? Is she still mourning the disappearance of her child?” I asked.
