Working for the Bandas hadn’t been easy one bit. But I somehow managed to pull through. What with my strong obsession to avenge my mum, miscarried child, my old looks, etc.

Patiently, I had been planning my vengeance. I wasn’t hasty lest they suspect me. And as they say, “revenge is a dish best served cold.”

But today, my vengeance was gonna begin.
It was past 7 A.M, I had just arrived for work and was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for my four bosses. Today, it was just me at work cause Agnes had gone to the village two days back due to the sudden illness of her mother.

I was frying some eggs when Jason stepped over the threshold of the kitchen. From the corner of my left eye, I saw him eyeing my behind.

This pervert! I thought, you’ll die h---y.
Sleeping with him wasn’t just part of my revenge cause if it had been, I would have gone to bed with Jason in the first week that I’d worked in this mansion. But I had had my fair deal of this man and wasn’t going to stoop as low as going to bed with him.

Jason cleared his throat and I feigned being startled.

He chuckled. “Morning, Mable.”
“Morning, boss.” I sheepishly replied.
“Did I scare you?”
“A bit,” I said, forcing a smile. “I didn’t see you coming. What can I get you?”
He shrugged. “Just came to get myself a bottle of mineral water.” said Jason abruptly, leaving the doorway and walking over to where the fridge was. “Make breakfast quicker, will you? Am starving!” he added, getting a bottle of mineral water from the fridge and closing it.
