“Sister,” said Lydia, dumping her bag of money in a van, “this is where we part ways. I hope we never cross paths again.”
“Likewise.” I said, putting my bag in the other van. We embraced and went our separate ways.

Two days later, I was standing at a distance from what had once been my office. I watched as Jason and a heavily pregnant Nancy left the building, being all lovey dovey. When they reached where their car had been parked, they kissed and got into the car, driving off.

I put my sunglasses back on and got into my black Altezza.
“Enjoy your happiness while it lasts,” I said, starting the ignition, “I’ve got everything now. Money can do anything and I’ve got loads of it. It’s just a matter of time from now before you all pay for literally taking me to hell and back. I promise!”
