I tried standing up but felt very weak, my eyes were now opening slowly but my sight was very blur, so blur that I couldn’t see clearly, it began to open gradually I could see white paintings and designs but not clear as expected, I saw somebody in white smiling at me, oh am I in heaven, did I actually die I taught in my mind

Oh thank God you are awake the voice said to me holding me by the hand my vision was now clear and I could see clearly that I was in a hospital but how do I get here, I asked no one in particular but the nurse standing in front of me just smiled…. You need to rest she said and walked away ignoring my question which I know she heard clearly

The event that happened began to reflect back on my mind, starting from when I met Cyndi at akwa road Onitsha, how I was attacked by cult guys, how my friend Hilary escaped with Cyndi, how I fell in the hands of the ritualists, how I was trying to escape with an unknown girl, how I was shot in my arm, that was all I could remember now am in the hospital, thank God am alive I breathed to myself as I touched my arm the exact place that I was shot, I felt a little pain but not as before as I was still meditating the door flung open revealing Hilary, Cyndi, the girl I escaped with and one man who I later recalled that he was the taxi driver that drove us away while we were attacked by the group of hoodlums sent by the ritualists

Cyndi shouted and rushed to hug me with a teary eyes I hold her tight to my arms because I really needed a hug that very moment from no other person than Cyndi, my friend Hilary came to me and held me by the hands smiling at the same time welcome back bro… He said tapping my back which I reciprocated by shaking his hands without altering any word the driver and the other girl also greeted me and ask how I was doing which I told them that am getting better the taxi driver stayed for about two minutes before handing his card over to me, with a promise to check up on me later that evening and left

I used the opportunity to ask them how I got here, we have been trying to reach you but your number has been switch off, we were happy when you called us and to our surprise a young girl picked the call and told us your current situation we instructed the driver to take you to the hospital that was how you got here, you have been unconscious since yesterday evening due to the poison of the bullet my friend Hilary said smartly, thank God you are alive Cyndi said still holding me tightly as if I wanted to run away, I smiled and careless her hair that was neatly packed, I turned to the girl I escaped with, thanks for all your effort you are indeed a strong girl, she brushed and said thanks, hope our house is in a safe condition I asked Hilary he nodded in affirmation, during our stay in that hospital I noticed Hilary eyeing that girl that I escaped with but it wasn’t my business sha, is better for him to eye the girl than to eye Cyndi oh because I might……………. Lol
Precious let’s go and prepare dinner Cyndi please stay with Tanaboy take care of him we will be back in two hours time, Cyndi nodded still clung on my body which I was really enjoying, I later found out that the girl’s name was precious………… We didn’t introduce our selves when we were in the hands of the ritualists, no time for such, we were only thinking of our dear life and escape root……. Precious and Hilary left the ward living me and my Cyndi to have our private time which we needed most, lol did I say my Cyndi ???? We are not dating yet but I still have plans of toasting her……..

She turned and look into my eyes, I freeze instantly, Oh this girl is really beautiful in fact using the word beautiful is like insulting her, she is wonderfully made, everything perfect, her smile, voice, in fact everything about her is perfect she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen…………. Lol let me stop here before other girls will be jealous, thank God you are alive she said touching my pointed nose with her soft hands hot s£nsat!on ran down my spine instantly you couldn’t believe how much I have missed you, she continued as tears dropped out of her eyes, you went all through this because of me thanks a lot she said still sobbing

I will do anything for you, I promise…….. I managed to say, silence took over the room as we look at each other emotionally, our heads began drawing closer to each other and and and and and…………. Lol forget about it jare
