The forest was so thick and black, many wild animals could be there but I didn’t mind because this was the journey of my life, behind us the guys were seriously covering the gap between us, the girl was gradually becoming weak as she couldn’t run as fast as expected……..

The guys couldn’t shoot us because the of the trees and the bush parts, that will obstruct their bullets so I think. I held tight to the girl as we ran for our dear lives, on getting to a particular area in the bush part was a big river, when I mean big you guys should understand what I am trying to insinuate, the river is very big, I stood still thinking of what next to do…………. I curiously turned and saw the guys very close to us and can shot us from that distance, I know that if I didn’t act fast that we might end up being killed, jump inside the river I said to the girl with a nervous tune, she shook her head negatively I can’t swim she said with a teary eyes breathing fast at the same time, the guys were now very close at the moment one of them pointed the gun to my chest, I held the girl by her hand and forcefully pulled her and we landed in the river, she was about to drawn when I held her from behind and pulled her up making her to lin on my body while I swim away with my left hand….. I was now halfway when I pulled my head up and place my gaze in the direction of the guys but I couldn’t see any of them in the other side of the river

I smiled victoriously to myself thinking that they had gone back, as I still swim away with the girl lining on my body, but my smile died instantly when I saw the water oscillating behind me and about three of those men raised up their head swimming aggressively towards me, I increased my swimming space, although the girl was weighing me down but I tried as much as possible to hold on to her living her will make her drawn because she wasn’t good in swimming, fortunately for us I made it to the other end of the river and pulled her down, but she was very weak and unable to stand up meanwhile the guys were now closer to the edge of the river………

I felt like leaving the girl there and evacuate for my dear life, I don’t even know who she is, one part of my mind was telling me, the other kept telling me to help this girl to the fullest……. I decided to finish what I started, because failure was never in my agenda, I rather die trying than giving up
Those guys are very good in swimming just like me, they were almost at the edge of the river, I lifted the girl and carried her on my back and continued running with all my strength while the guys followed suit, I continued running at a point I was becoming very tired because the girl was very heavy, I felt like stopping but I remembered Cindy if I should stop and these guys kill me I will never get to see my Cindy again, only that very taught encouraged me and I continued running but with a low speed this time getting to the far end of the forest I sighted a coal tar and vehicle were passing I moved closer to the roadside and crossed over to the other side of the road, then I dropped the girl,
I started waving at vehicles but non agreed to stop, suddenly those guys appeared on the other side of the road and started smiling all hope was lost, tears were already forming in my eyes……….. Luckily for us a taxi parked in front of us hop in the driver shouted from the other end, with the speed of light I pushed the girl inside the car I was about jumping in when I heard a gun shot suddenly I felt a hard pain in my left arm I fell inside the car and the driver sped off, I watched those guys through the side mirror and they were just transfixed watching our car as it speeds off, they only succeeded in shooting my left arm
Blood was streaming down my left arm, I screamed in pain as the girl tore my shirt and used it to tight my injured arm, I cried out in pain

What is happening to me, I saw a girl and I was carried away by her beauty, cult guys attacked me because of that same girl, I ran away and entered into the hands of money ritualists, in the process I saw the very girl that I don’t even, she was also captured by the ritualists, I decided to escape with her
Okay now, how do I know if my beautiful Cyndi is still alive, what about my friend Hilary, is he still alive ?? All this things were running through my mind, I don’t even know were the driver is taking us to……….
All this while the girl was busy crying which I couldn’t place the reason maybe it’s because of my injured arm, I brought out my phone which was switch off, I switched it on and dialed Hilary’s number and it started ringing meanwhile I was becoming very weak and my eyes were now closing gradually……….he picked up from the other end I heard Cyndi’s voice and that of Hilary they both shouted thank God you are still alive were are you they chorused………. Hello I managed to say as I slowly gave the phone to the girl which was busy crying, I signalled to the girl to answer the call……….. My eyes were now very heavy I couldn’t listen to what they were saying before I passed out
