“Why did you kill her?” he asked.

“I didn’t kill her Ben. Miley and I got along very well. I will never take someone else’s life. Please do believe me,” she sniffed.

“It’s hard to believe you. How many times have you tried to get rid of Adela? You saw how strong their love is and decide to get rid of Miley. I don’t know what to think anymore. When I woke up earlier this morning you were not on the bed.”

“I had gone to see Miley. She sent me a text last night. I admit I have been trying to get rid of Adela but I would have never killed her or Miley. Someone framed me and That person knew that, Miley and I were like best friends.”

“Maybe it will be best if they take you away. You need to learn a lesson. I have told you so many times to stay away from Miley. You did what? Continued communicating with her. You brought this on yourself Angela. All of this doesn’t make sense. Who would want to frame you?,” he rose from the chair.

“Where are you going?” she asked
“Home. Where else would I go?”
“You can’t leave me here.”
“Where would I go with you? You are a killer!”
“Please please. Don’t leave me here. Ben! Ben!”

Ben had already gone out of the room.

One of the most difficult things to think about in life is one’s regrets. Something will happen to you, and you will do the wrong thing and for years afterward you will wish you had done something different. We don’t have to be defined by the things we did or didn’t do in our past. Some people allow themselves to be controlled by regret. Maybe it’s a regret, maybe it’s not. It’s merely something that happened. Something you need most might be something you turn away from. Something you turn away from might be something you regret, and something you regret in the end might cost you the one chance you ever had.

Angela sat in her cell and cried hysterically. She wish she had done things differently. She wished she had accepted Adela in her life. Her husband had turned his back on her. Who was going to help her?

He threw the phone on the bed. She walked in the room with a towel wrapped around her body. Hands on his head, while he sat on the bed.

“What happened?” she asked concerned.
“My mother has been arrested. I just got off the phone with dad. Miley is dead . Mum is the suspect.”
“What?!”
“Yah! That was my first word. I am very confused. I know my mum is a villain lady. She has made both of our lives a living hell but she is not a murderer, that I know. Something is wrong. I don’t know who killed Miley but it’s crystal clear, this person wanted to get rid of my mother by framing her. Someone who knows her and had been following her. This was planned.”

“I don’t know what to say. This is hard to digest. I know your mum and Miley didn’t like me but I didn’t want her dead. Just know that I am here for you babe. It will be best if you go and see her,” she said holding his hand.
“You okay with it?”
“Yes, drop me off at my house. She needs you right now.”

“Thank you Adela. I love you,” he held her tighly in his arms.

Minutes they walked out of the house. Stevie dropped Adela off at her house. He continued with his journey. She walked to her house. She opened the door and walked inside. She was about to close the door when she appeared from nowhere. Like an Angel who just fall from the sky.
“Stephanie! What are you doing here?”
“I came to see you,” she smiled.
“Get in!”
Stephanie got inside the house and sat on the sofa.

“I am just coming from my boyfriend’s house. I slept there.”
“You slept with him!” she shouted.
Adela looked at her.
“Yes. Why are you shouting?”
“I am surprised! Can I have a glass of water?”
“Sure!”

Adela walked to the kitchen and poured a glass of cold water. She gave it to her. She didn’t drink it.

“Get a pen and a paper!” she ordered.
“What?!”
“A pen and a paper. Dammit!”
Adela jumped to her feet and got a pen and a paper.

“Write this down, ‘ I am sorry Stevie. I can’t marry you. I never loved you. I am going to Spain with the guy that I love.”
“I can’t do that,” she refused
She removed the gun from her pocket.
“Let me tell you a story,” she cleared her throat. “I loved Stevie but he was so far away from me. I was diagnosed with a mental illness. Well it was fake. I wasn’t crazy. I married Stevie’s best friend, Daniel. The biggest mistake I made I slept with the guy and fell pregnant. I aborted the baby when I heard that he was cheating on me. A month after our wedding. I got really mad. I am responsible for his death. I did something with his car engine and tyres and BOOM! He died. I wanted to get Stevie back. I heard you were dating him. With some few information from the gateman, Jacob. He is my accomplice. He told me everything. Stevie’s mum didn’t love you but Miley. I had to kill Miley and framed Angela. I never loved Angela. I hated that b---h. I am Bianca not Stephanie,” she smiled.
