Unbreakable Love - Season 1 - Episode 24

*Love is something we all cherish dearly. When we lose it, our hearts ache severely*

She drove the car to her house early in the morning after receiving her text message. She reached at her house and went to knock at the door. She knocked but there was no response. She opened the door.

“Miley!” she called out her name heading to the sitting room.

She entered the kitchen and found her lying on the floor in pool of blood. When you nervous your body is on high alert. Your heart beats faster, your blood pressure rises and your system is flooded with the flight hormones adrenaline. She got close to her. The level of horror at the situation seemed to directly increase her ability to act outside of her feelings. She vomitted looking at the body. Somebody came inside the house, went straight to the kitchen and saw her sitting next to the body weeping.

“I didn’t do it,” she cried.

He shook his head.
“Stand up!” he ordered. “Put your hands where I can see them.”
“I swear to you officer, I didn’t kill her.”
“You are under arrest for the murder of Miley Nsingo. Anything you say will be used against you in the court of law,” she was put in handcuffs.
Defeat is when you are falsely accussed of shooting down a star that twinkles in the eyes of a lunatic. But death is when you are accussed of drilling a bullet in the heart of a beloved one. Angela swallowed all. The voice cackled was a song that cuffed her innocence in the dark. She cried as she sat in her cell. Her tears flew with every hour. Her cries filled with pain. The officer opened the cell and went with her at the interrogation room. She sat on the chair. He watched her across the window.

“Detective James!” he called out.
“Chief!” he responded hands clasped behind back.

“This is the suspect. Remember interviewing a suspect, witnessor victim who is motivated to withhold information. Under that circumstance, the investigator needs to phrase questions in such a way that the question will not invited deception and if the person chooses to lie to the question, the question should stimulate behaviour symptons indicative of that fact,” he went on. “Detectives must stay current on laws and regulations so that they do not break any rules that may invalidate the investigation. All police detectives are authorised to carry a firearm and trained in defensive tactics. While not necessarily required, many private detectives will seek a concealed carry permit. Are we together?”
“Yes, sir!”
“Good. She is all yours.”
Detective James walked in the interrogation room. He looked directly into her eyes.
DETECTIVE: I am just going to ask some questions. You need to tell me everything or else. Did you see the girl before she was murdered?

ANGELA : Yes.
DETECTIVE: Where?
ANGELA: Last night at my house.
DETECTTIVE: Did you two have a fight?
He paid attention to the eye contact she maintained.

ANGELA: NO! We got along very well.
DETECTIVE: What did you talk about? What was she doing at your house? Did you notice anything unusual while you were having dinner with her?
ANGELA: I didn’t have dinner with her. She had come to see me at my house. She didn’t stay that long.

DETECTIVE: Was she your best friend?
ANGELA: No
DETECTIVE: Look I know you said you didn’t do it, but I understand why you did. You didn’t really have a choice. She was a nuisance. If I was in your shoes, I would probably have done the same thing. Kill my husband’s mistress.
She jumped in and corrected.

ANGELA: She wasn’t my husband’s mistress. My husband will never cheat on me. I didn’t kill her. I just wanted her to marry my son.
DETECTIVE: You were forcing her.

ANGELA: No, I wasn’t. She loved my son. I liked her too. I received a text last night. She wanted to see me and said it was urgent. When I drove at her house this morning. She was lying on the floor in pool of blood.

DETECTIVE: Fine. Let’s just say you didn’t kill her. Who did? Your fingerprints are all over the house. Even the knife.
ANGELA: But I didn’t touch the knife. Oh no no I did. I just found it on her. I wanted to save her.
DETECTIVE: Then you killed her. Maybe she didn’t want to marry your son. You got mad at her and stabbed her 20 times. We received a phone call that you were having a fight with her last night. You killed her and thought about it. You came back to dump the body. Get rid of it.Tell the truth. Why did you kill her ( he b@nged his fist on the table)
ADELA: I didn’t kill her. Someone is framing me. I didn’t kill her. Please you have to believe me. Can I call my husband?
DETECTIVE: He is already outside.
ANGELA: Can I see him please. I beg you.
He stood up and got out of the room. She wiped away the tears. Before she drove to Miley’s house. Angela had this nagging feeling at the back of her head that something would go wrong but she tried by all means to brush it off. Her husband opened the door.
“What did you do?” that was his first statement as he walked inside the room.
“I didn’t do it Ben
