“Eversince I broke up with Bianca I have been alone. I have been wondering if God is going to give me my soul mate,” he continued. “I never for once thought that I will be able to love again. When I love someone I love them with all of my heart. I was deeply in love with Bianca thus it broke my heart what she did to me,” he turned to face. “You are a beautiful woman. I have known you for two months but you have proved to me that indeed they are still beautiful women out there not only on the outside but inside as well. I have had fun with you and we share good memories together,” he made a step close to her and took her hand. He put it on his chest. “Listen to it. It’s beating faster, everytime I am around you it does that.”

His hand reached out, his fingers lifting her chin so that she had no option but to look at him.
“Tonight I ask only one thing of you, Adela.”

Her heart accelerated and pounded in her chest like a drum. Her gaze locked with his, held there by only the smallest touch of his fingers to her chin. Her breathing deepened and she wondered if she would be able to stand for much longer so close to him.

“And that is…?” She maintained control of her voice, but to control of her body was much harder. Heat was building low down in her stomach, spreading slowly.

“Spend the night with me. We won’t do anything. There is a spare room and I will cook dinner.”

Stevie saw her eyes widen, watched as the soft brown of her irises turned darker until they were black as the night sky.

“I don’t have a problem with that,” She smiled up at him and a hint of mischief danced in her eyes. She was still hiding herself from him.

“Okay.” He lifted her chin a little higher and brushed his lips against hers, feeling her body tremble as it so nearly touched his. She smelt good, her perfume sweet. It was her first kiss with him. He looked her, a woman he wanted, the woman who had filled his dreams and every waking moment since.

“I will cross the ocean for you. I will go and bring you the moon. I will be your hero your strength. With every breath, will all my soul. I will give my world I will give it all. Put your faith in me. I will show you the world. I will give you my heart and love because you deserve it. I love you Adela. Yes, I said it. I can’t stop thinking about you,” he sighed. “Everytime I tried to sleep my brain wouldn’t stop talking to itself. I felt like I was going crazy. You were always in my mind,” he smiled. “I started playing out scenarios in my mind stuff like, ‘What would happen if I were to tell Adela how I feel about her? Express my feelings’ Sometimes it kept me awake and for some reason I couldn’t stop thinking about whatever my mind decided to focus on. It never got tired.”
She laughed,

“I know right, you may think that I am crazy. I am crazy and you make me go crazy. You my insanity pills. If I had nothing to think about my mind made stuff to think about. One thing that helped is looking at your picture that I took at the park. Today I really wanted to tell you how I feel about you,” he kissed her on the forehead.
“But I am just a maid. I have got nothing and your parents wouldn’t want me to be with you. I don’t want to get hurt. I don’t want you to leave me later on. I don’t wa__”

“Shhhhhh,” he cut across her words, then took her hand. “No, my lady. This is about me and you. If my mum or dad doesn’t love you I don’t care. It’s you that I want. It doesn’t matter if you are a maid and soon I will be sending you to school. Isn’t it you applied? I love what’s inside of you, I love your good heart. You just one in a million. I am here for you and I will never leave you Adela. We will take things slow. Okay?”
She nodded,
“Yes!”
“Good! You go take a bath. I will prepare dinner for us and then we can watch a movie. JEEPERS CREEPERS.”
“But that’s horror.”
“I know that is why I want to watch it with you,” he lifted her up
“Put me down!”
“Nooooo!”
“Down!” she shouted.

He walked with her upstairs and showed her, her room. She took a bath and applied lotion on her body. She walked downstairs and the guy had cooked dinner. They had their dinner and washed dishes.

“How many kids are we going to have?” he asked his eyes focused on the TV eating popcorns while she slept her head on his lap.
“Kids? We started dating today. Besides we still young to have kids.”

“No we are not. I am 26 and you are 22. Difference of four years not that bad. Seriously babe. How can you make me watch HOME ALONE.”

“It’s a great movie. Not that scary one.”
He tickled her.
“Stop! You misbehaving!”
“I wish you could just move in with me. I haven’t told mum that I am moving out. I know she is going to freak out on me but I don’t give a d--n. Let’s go to sleep,” he switched off the TV
