[A Silent Road]

Saint has been riding with Annika behind him for an hour now.

He planned an hour, but now he doesn’t mind extending it by thirty minutes. He missed driving his bike.

Behind him, Annika just held his shirt by both sides.

She never wrapped her arms around him throughout like she was keeping the boundary uncrossed.

But her squeals and screams and words pointed she’s enjoying this too.

“This is so therapeutic!” She shouted again as Saint flew the bike across another bend on the tar.

“I’m trying to say!” Saint laughed. “Nothing beats racing, Anita.”

“It’s Annika, for the love of noodles!” She shouted.

“I call people whatever I like, Anita.” He laughed, but he suddenly stopped the bike with a screech.

“For the love of noodles? You love noodles too?” He asked fast.

Annika took off her helmet and got down from the bike.

“My best food, especially if it’s garnished with veggies!”

Saint took off his helmet and threw it somewhere, gasping.

“Everyone has been saying I’m weird for having such favorite!”

“Weird?” She gasped. “Garnished noodles is bae, especially if the carrots is raw!” She laughed.

“Raw carrots?” He held her hands with wide, amazed eyes “You love raw carrots too?”

“Yes!” She jumped cheerfully.

And that was punctured by the arrival of a taxi on that road.

Someone stepped out of it, wearing a nose mask and cap, but when she took the both off…

“Bexley?” Saint scoffed.

Bexley rushed over breathlessly, getting in-between them.

She faced Annika sternly.

“I’m planning to seduce him and make him mine, Annika James. You don’t have a chance. Back off.”
