[10AM – A New Building]
Seraphina and Allison were already coming out of the building together with the owner, and by the tone of their discussion, it’s obvious Seraphina likes the building a lot.
“You won’t find any other building as profitable as this in this area…” The owner sweet-talked. “It’s in an open street, and for someone like you who’s a popular crocheter figure, it’s a bonus for your customers to locate your brand building fast.”
Seraphina blinked under her disguise. She took off the nose mask and hat and big black shades.
“You recognized me even with my thick disguises?” She blinked.
“Your curves, Miss. No other person has exactly this type in this city.” The woman smiled kindly.
Allison bursted into laughter.
“I know, of course…” She winked at the woman.
“You’re my enemy at this point, Allison.” Seraphina muttered.
“C’mon!” Allison held her fondly.
“By the way,” Seraphina resumed the talk. “I’ll only be needing this building for two or three months, till my own brand building construction will be over.” She said.
“I understand,” the owner nodded. “No matter how short your stay is, I’m the lucky one.”
“I’ll handle the payment, and the contract should be send over mail.” Allison mentioned.
“Of course, Miss.” The owner smiled.
“Allison?” A familiar voice popped up from nowhere.
Both ladies turned, and when they saw Acosta, Allison blinked.
“Acosta?”
“Hey, Acosta.” Seraphina smiled.
“It’s been a long while, celebrity.” Acosta gave her a side hug.
“I know, right?” Seraphina smiled. “How’s Peach doing?”
“She’s fine, and thanks for asking about her.” Acosta smiled warmly. “Why aren’t you with bodyguards though? It’s dangerous to walk alone with your new status.”
“I’m working on it.” Seraphina nodded, returning her shades to her eyes. “Trust me, I’m already tired of the crowd everywhere too.”
“Well, work faster…” Acosta advised.
“Thank you, Acosta.” Seraphina smiled again, patting Allison.
“I’ll call you later, Rasheeda.”
Allison gave her the middle finger, and Seraphina laughed as she rushed to her car and jumped in.
She pulled her phone when it made a buzz. It’s a message.
Sugar Daddy: I like the bra collections in your closet.
She read again, blinking, then she dropped the phone and drove crazily out of the area.
“You told her?” Acosta laughed.
“Of course! I tell my best friend everything including the fact that you called me Rasheeda!” Allison rolled eyes, arms folded like a brat.
Acosta sighed.
“Came here to get breakfast at the side restaurant, didn’t know I’d meet you here. I swear I’m not stalking you.” He explained.
Allison rolled eyes again.
“Fine,” he nodded. “What do you want? I’ll do anything…to apologize for calling you Rasheeda.”
“What are you gonna eat at the restaurant?” She asked.
“Pasta,” he shrugged.
“I wanna have that too,” she mimicked her shrug, leading the way.
Acosta stayed there, watching her with a little smile.
She felt his absence and turned around, glaring.
“Acosta!”
He got out of his daydream and followed her fast, walking right beside her. They went into the restaurant to get breakfast, and they decided they’d eat in Allison’s car.
Five minutes later, they emerged with their takeouts, and as they walked towards Allison’s car, they occasionally stole glances at each other.
Across the tar, Kimmy’s car sat, and inside it, she looked like a raging cat as she watched the ongoing.
She was tasked with clearing Allison off before, but now with what she’s witnessing, she doesn’t need that reason to clear her anymore.
She’s talking to Acosta?
They’re even getting breakfast together? The hell?
“Allison Hart,,,,” Kimmy grabbed her steering, turning the wheel with the intention of running Allison over with the car and kill her flat, but she couldn’t move the car across.
She was blocked by a lady in all black who suddenly appeared in from of her car, looking like a voodoo doll.
Kimmy quickly stepped on the brakes, eyes spitting flames.
“Who the fûck are you? Get off my way!” She spat, writhing.
Yalda gave her a downturned smile, and Kimmy’s glare disappeared.
Something isn’t right!

[Seraphina’s Mansion]
Seraphina barely got the car into park before she rushed out of it.
The driver’s door remained hanging open behind her, forgotten.
She had left the front door unlocked on purpose this morning in case he came again, so when she found it standing open, she wasn’t surprised.
She was relieved.
She flew through the house, her heels hammering against the polished floor with frantic, uneven strikes, each step echoing through the silent mansion. She didn’t bother slowing down. Didn’t breathe. Didn’t think.
Just him.
She shoved her bedroom door open, but she met emptiness.
Her pulse boiled.
For one terrifying second, she wondered if she had imagined the voicemail she received, but then she remembered.
The bra.
He mentioned her bra, and every single one of her bra collections are inside her closet.
She spun around and hurried towards the closest. This time, she slowed at the door.
Her trembling fingers wrapped around the handle as she eased it open, and there he was.
He stood before her lingerie drawer, his broad back as attractive as she remembered, and his impossible height making the expensive closet feel small around him.
The world stopped, because her heart didn’t merely race. It drummed.
Each beat slammed violently against her ribs until breathing became an impossible task. She pressed a hand against her chest, trying to calm herself before she blacked out.
It was useless.
Not with him here, and his scent corroded her head.
The addictive oud.
As if he sensed her, Tobias turned slowly, and those impossible blue eyes found hers.
The universe narrowed into that single gaze.
God.
She hadn’t lied. She had missed those eyes. She missed him.
Missed him so violently.
A boyish smile that’s devastating and painfully beautiful stretched across his face as he walked toward her.
She couldn’t remember watching him cross the distance, cos in one blink, he was standing in front of her.
His hands rose with astonishing gentleness, cupping her small face delicately as if too much pressure would shatter her into pieces.
He exhaled a broken breath.
“Fuck…” he whispered, his thumbs stroking slow circles over her soft cheeks. “I missed this little face so damn much, damn much.”
His forehead rested against hers.
“I didn’t see it for fifty hours… twenty-four minutes… and two seconds.” He whispered breathlessly.
“You counted?” she breathed, emotion strangling every word.
“I counted everything.” His voice went lower. “When you were gone, every second become loud, Sera. I heard every damn one of them.”
She closed her eyes.
“I need you in every second for any of them to mean something.” He continued, letting out a fractured laugh “You’ve got no idea how many Xanax I swallowed just trying to survive last night.”
Seraphina immediately pressed her palm against his chest, concern etching into her face.
“Are you sick?” She asked.
He smiled without humor. “I don’t get sick, but anxiety? I think you finally gave me that.”
She looked into those blue eyes, searching for the joke, but there wasn’t one.
“You’re the only person who has ever made me feel this strange stuff. Congratulations, Seraphina, You’re ruining me.”
He caressed her neck with his nose bridge, inhaling her, sniffing her in.
Her maddening pomelo.
“I am?” Her breathings loudened so much, making the question come out almost inaudible.
“That’s why this whole ridiculous deal has to end.” He pulled back a bit.
Her heartbeat skipped. “What?”
“No deal, but I’ll spoil you properly, worship endlessly on your altar.” He continued. “Let’s commit new sins. You’re worth every sin.”
Seraphina smiled so beautifully wide her lips almost tore apart.
“So… Will you be my boy toy?” She chuckled slowly, heartily.
“I’ll be whatever the fuck you want, and wherever you want, baby.” He replied almost immediately, thumb tracing her jaw.
“Anything,” his voice lowered. “Anywhere, and any version of me you choose.”
Seraphina stared deep into his eyes again. The hunger inside them was raw, unhinged and catastrophic.
It’s the kind of need capable of burning kingdoms to ash.
She felt every ounce of it, and God help her, she loved the way it tasted.
“Kiss me, Sera.” His words burned as they hit her ear shells.
“Kiss my mouth. Kiss me like you still hate me. Kiss the fûck out of me.”
Seraphina swallowed, her own breathing become just as ragged.
“Say you missed me again.” Her voice trembled a little. “I wanna hear it again.”
“I missed you.” His whisper scraped against her heart.
“Again.”
“I missed you.”
“Again, Tobias.”
He searched her face as though committing every detail to memory.
“I missed you…” His forehead brushed hers once more. “Baby.”
A broken sound escaped her lips. “Oh, Daddy…”
She caught the front of his shirt in both her fists and pulled him down until no space remained between them, closing the distance.
She smashed her lips on his irresistible mouth.
Tobias’s hands immediately carried her fat ass behind her, wrapping his arms around the flesh.
