[Odium Hell Building]
The talk is finally allowed to start after Tobias finished watching the successful press conference.
The laptop was closed down.
“The first carved body and roses, who sent them?” Tobias asked, voice reverberating through the Hell.
“It came from me,” Yalda talked. “I sent the first few texts to your phone too cos I was in charge of the general Hell phone then. I wanted to acclaim our ownership on you, First Man.”
“Who said I needed ownership acclamation before knowing the race I belong to?” Tobias leaned forward.
“We saw when you started things with the New Meat, and I wanted to remind you what happened with Kelly, I was—”
“You still aren’t answering my question, Yalda.” Tobias cut in coldly. “I like carved bodies, but you sending that without a heads-up?”
“I’m sorry, Wrath.” Yalda apologized.
“And the second sloppy body, I don’t need a damn soothsayer to tell me it was Migos who carved that corny shit.” Tobias faced him.
“That’s right,” Migos responded. “And I have the same intention. When I saw you making deals with the New Meat, I wanted to remind you to not forget what happened with Ke—”
“Bitch, mention Kelly, and your name will end up in a fuckin toe tag.” Tobias snarled.
Migos went silent.
“Now why the f+k is everyone trying to remind me of Kelly? Trying to remind me of not forming attachments like I’m some preschool f+k. I know the rules, I know my way. I run this shit, and I got it covered. I’ve always did.”
“I’m sorry, Wrath.” Migos said.
“Don’t be sorry. Show it!” Tobias snapped, mad.
Silence took over again.
“We’ve got too much laundering deals to cover, and we need Wrath Investments Empire back, as soon as possible.” He informed.
“That place has been with Dean for too long. I knew we’d be needing it back sooner or later, but how? The public love Dean, and they believe he’s Wrath, the owner of that establishment. If we’re gonna expose you completely as the real Wrath, then it means exposing everything that went down at Hollow University. If that happens, people would fear you instead of wanting to work with you.” A Odd said carefully.
“I’m not taking the Empire by myself, yet. Dean needs to be played with and broken to pieces. I’m sending in a toy.” Tobias said clearly.
“Sending in a toy….” Yalda smiled. “I think I know what that means.”
“I don’t think she’ll be able to do what you’re aiming for, Wrath.” Migos objected straight up.
“That wasn’t a suggestion, Migos.” Tobias stated. “I already made the decision before striking a deal with her. Dean built his reputation and status brick by brick, becoming the most loved billionaire CEO in the city. I’m destroying that brick by brick, too. She’s gonna be his cancer.”
“While she’s working on that, what’s gonna be going down here?” A Odd asked curiously.
“Lots is gonna be going down here,” Tobias sighed, picking up the police invitation on the table.
“I still can’t believe Kelly filed a case against you,” Yalda laughed. “I mean, that bî+ch knows what you can do.”
“No, she doesn’t,” Tobias relaxed, staring at the invitation. “But she’ll know, very soon.”
“Are we really in a meeting with an outsider in attendance?” Migos talked, referring to Jude by the door.
“If you have a problem with J, take it up with me.” Tobias looked up.
“Is he gonna be an Odd? I don’t trust him.” Migos frowned.
“I don’t care who you trust or don’t, Migos.” Tobias glared. “He’s here because I want it, and he’ll be whatever the f+k I want him to be.”
Migos relaxed with a groan.
Tobias picked up his phone, deciding to finally look at Saint’s texts.
They’re more than thirty.
• I don’t know what issue you have with him, but Tino doesn’t deserve death. Damn, let him go.
• He’s an overprotected only child, and his mother would legit die if he dies. He’s his mother’s life.
• Don’t kill Tino. You know he has been my only friend from Adam.
• I’m begging you, Toby. Please.
Tobias dropped the phone and stood.
He walked up to the middle where Tino’s cellotaped body lay.
He roughly ripped off cellotape from his mouth spot.
Tino’s mouth opened, but he couldn’t say a word that made sense.
Tobias reached for his gun and shot him on the shoulder.
“Agghhhh!!!!!!” Tino rumbled to life roughly, crying and screaming. “Damn! I did nothing wrong!! I’m so sorry please…. please…. please!!!!”
Tobias crouched mercilessly beside his body and touched his blood, rubbing it on his fingers like water.
He held eyes with the poor boy.
“Who’s your father?” He muttered, voice a bloody war blade.
“My mother said he’s dead! I didn’t get to know him!” Tino shouted. “Please! Please….!!”
Tobias stood.
“Drop him off in front of his house…” He ordered.
No arguments.
Two Odds stood and carried him out of the Hell, his blood dripping after them as they moved with him.
The meet ended with that part, and Jude led Tobias to the Hell park.
The drive back to the Church began.
“I just witnessed Hell on earth,” Jude muttered behind the wheel.
“That meeting was the softest meeting we ever had at Hell, J.” Tobias responded from the backseat.
“Softest? And you wrapped a human fully with cellotape? You shot him like that? Father, a burning hellfire was in the room with y’all, and if you ask me about the location, I won’t be able to say it. Like it was scrapped off my memory.” Jude commented.
“We carve bodies and split skulls in our darkest meetings. You’ll get used to it.” Tobias replied casually.
Jude nodded, deciding to just drive. He heard enough for today, but on reaching the Church, they met a whole department of police waiting for Tobias in front of the gate.
“The hell?” Jude blinked, unable to move the car past the gate.
He came down, shocked.
“What’s going on?”
The cops raised an a freshly printed arrest warrant. “We got an arrest warrant for Tobias St. Graves for the attempted murder of Kelly Price.”
“What!” Jude and some other present workers chorused.
Tobias came down from the car.
No time was wasted.
He didn’t struggle with them as his arms were folded behind him before cuffs were snapped on his wrists.
“Father!” Jude went closer.
“Calm down, J.” Tobias gave him a dark, reassuring smile before he was taken to the cops car.
As the car drove out of the premises, the workers were thrown into a state of panic. Everyone panicked except Nun Ruth who instantly got her phone and dialled her mother.
“My Priest just got arrested, can you make a move, mum?” She asked urgently, looking restless.
While everyone freaked and feared, Nun Estelle stayed behind, quiet like her mouth was stitched shut.
She looks too quiet for her personality.
Nun Grace walked up to her, asking,
“You good? Estelle?”
Estelle walked away silently.
“What’s wrong with everyone?” Nun Grace muttered.

[Tino’s Place]
Mrs Hallows—Tino’s mum has been in tears since the disappearance news reached her ears.
As an overprotective mother, she lost her wits and mind.
She has been dispatching everyone she could to the streets in search of Tino, but as they all returned with no good news to tell, she cried again.
“I’m very sure it’s the racing enemies! How many times have I told him to stop this stupid race, but he’s too adamant! And that boy from the St. Graves family, I told him to stay away from him! Everyone from that family is mysterious! Who else takes burying people and creating luxury graveyards as family business? It’s only them! They’re black crows!”
“His disappearance has nothing to do with Rednecks or me and my family!” Saint shot angrily, waltzing in.
“And what are you doing here? Just what do you want!!” Mrs. Hallows yelled hatefully, coming for his face.
“Madam! You need to see this!” A cop from outside hollered.
“See what?” Mrs. Hallows rushed outside with the cops, ditching Saint.
Getting outside, her life flashed before her eyes when she saw Tino’s cellotaped body with bleeding shoulder in front of the house, looking dead and cold.
“Tino!!!” She yelled, running.
“F+k!” Saint rushed out right behind her. “How did he get here?”
“He was delivered by an unknown car. Enough cops from our department are chasing after the car right now.” A cop replied.
“Get my son to the hospital!” Mrs. Hallows screamed. “He’s bleeding too much! Get the cellotapes away!”
She was crying devastatingly as Tino was lifted and taken to a car.
Saint stepped back and quickly sent a text to Tobias.
Saint: Thanks for not killing him. I owe you, cos I know you don’t ever forget or forgive.
He pocketed his phone and got on his bike, following the car that’s taking Tino to the hospital.
