[Next Day – A Private Hotel Hall]

Yellow chandeliers hanging from the ceiling set bright gold glows.

Cocktails and mocktails were set in neat triangular lines on the golden-linen tables.

The floors gleamed like polished, refined jewels, and the walls crawled with shadows of men in suits and women in dresses.

The wealthiest personalities of this city. Men and women who gathered their money through unclean means.

Madly rich people who’d still off the heads of anyone who dared to steal even a cent from their stack.

Here in this room, words don’t matter, status speak.

It might be tagged a charity dinner, but for big shots like them, it’s an opportunity to show off.

The more you donate, the more you dominante.

The amount you donate tonight will determine the amount of buzz your name will create at daybreak

It’ll determine the number of magazines, news outlets and tabloids that’d speak your name with prestige and new respect tommorow.

Tonight is a night of ranks.

Male servers wore white shirts and pants. Female servers wore same, but instead of pants, it’s short skirts.

Allison can boast that the planning of this dinner is one of her best works.

As she stood in the first heart of the hall, watching everything unfold, she smiled at yet another achievement.

Genevieve Redd and Marley Redd are at the second heart of the hall, smiling like the kindest people on planet earth and chatting with the exclusive wealthy guests.

Kimmy and Acosta are at one side, communicating with people too, probably talking about the upcoming project they’re chasing.

Dora and Peach stayed together.

But Dora kept glaring at Peach, and Peach glared back at her.

“Little girl, I have better grudges to hold. I don’t do kiddies.” Dora said, swirling her wine in her cup.

“You sprayed me, and I nearly died cos of you. You should be thanking me that I didn’t mention your name, my mum would have cooked you.” Peach responded, bratty.

“You nearly died? That sounds unfinished. Should have sprayed you to death cos the sight of your father is enough for me! I don’t need another black ape, aka, you, in the estate!” Dora faced her squarely.

Peach picked a glass of wine and spat inside it, then she faced Dora again to wet her with the saliva wine, but Acosta appeared from nowhere, snatching the glass from her and taking her away from Dora.

“She was gon’ splash me?” Dora chuckled. “She’s finally growing some balls, but I’mma burst those balls.”

She returned her attention to the servers spot where the servers are taking serving trays from.

There, she saw someone she didn’t expect here tonight.

The lawbreaking face.

Saint St. Graves?

Saint is here as a server???

“Fûck.” She muttered, making him her focus instantly.

At the servers, Saint and Bexley picked their serving trays at the same time, and Saint intentionally brushed her breast with his elbow.

Bexley turned too fast, dropping the serving tray with her. Her face twisted with immediate dissatisfaction and anger.

“Sorry if you felt that.”
Saint said with raised brows, his undertone so obvious.

Bexley raised her serving tray to slap his face and ruin his pride, but Allison’s hand dragged her.

Allison took her away from him, but their eyes never left each other.

As Allison dragged Bexley from the back, Bexley glared venomously at Saint, and Saint? He picked a cocktail and drank it all while still holding eyes with her, tightly.

The drink trickled down the right corner of his lip, and he darted his tongue out to lick, still not breaking the eye contact till Allison took Bexley out of the hall.

From her spot, Dora watched everything that just happened.

She knew Saint just fl+rted with Bexley, and Bexley immediately entered her to-kill list.

She picked a cup of c+cktail, removed the red berries from it and plucked them from the fancy skewer.

She shoved five berries into her mouth at once, eating like a freak.

The berry juice leaked down her chin, looking blood-like.

Allison took Bexley to the balcony, and they stood facing each other, but Bexley’s arms are crossed obstinately.

“You were gonna smash the tray on his head?” Allison snapped.

“He’s a pervert! He brushed my chest with his elbow! He knew what he was doing!” Bexley shouted.

“I don’t care, Bex! I do not!” Allison shouted back. “I planned this event, so any mistake will surely r+duce my aura point and my balance, coupled with the fact that you’re my sister! You wanna ruin me that bad? Huh? Do you even know who he is himself? Saint St. Graves! He’s probably playing around posing as a server! You don’t wanna mess with anyone pf them. They’re freaks starting from the twins Dean and Tobias to Saint himself or their Uncle Will!”

“Don’t read to me their family tree,” Bexley rolled eyes. “I’m sorry. I’ll comport myself.”

“You better do, for real,” Allison nodded. “Now go back to that hall and start comporting!”

Bexley returned to the hall, and Allison gathered herself together before returning to the hall too.

Seraphina was the first person she encountered.

She’s just coming in from the front door, looking put together in her plain black dinner dress.

Wide and modest as usual.

“At this point, I think you have a fight with other colors. Why always black or white? Why always those two boring colors?” Allison said.

“Lis,” Seraphina smiled when she saw her, and their paths collided.

“You couldn’t even put on a dab of powder?” Allison looked at her face.

“Can I be left alone?” Seraphina smiled again.

“That’s like your favorite line,” Allison laughed.

Seraphina took a glass of wine from a passing server.

“So,” Allison turned serious. “Why are you here? You said you weren’t sure you’d come.”

“Girl, you told me to bring some of my crotchets along, and you might help introduce them to some of your clients. Of course I’d come.” Seraphina shrugged.

“I’ll only be able to talk with clients after the donations though.” Allison quickly said.

“I don’t mind, I’ll wait.” Seraphina agreed, and Allison took her to a safer part of the hall.

While they were heading there, Kimmy caught sight of them.

A knowing smile widened her lips, and she turned her head to Dora who’s behind her.

Dora saw Seraphina too, and she’s smiling as intentionally as Kimmy.

They raised their glasses in quiet celebration of what’s to come.

The donation floor was opened, targeted towards two hundred foster homes across the country.

Saint was the first to raise his glass…

“Twenty Million.”

All eyes turned to him on the servers seat that he’s on, and both Genevieve and Marley were stunned.

Saint St. Graves on a server uniform?

“Whore,” Bexley muttered with hate, hissing quietly.

“Fifty Million!” A new voice entered, and all heads turned once again.

Towards the door.

Dean came in with Kelly beside him, her bitchy dress slit nearly revealing her p$ssy face as she walked.

“It’s our in-law,” Marley grinned.

“Sorry I’m late,” Dean apologized. “Work was tight today, but I still couldn’t miss this charity event. There are too many helpless people in the world who needs my money.”

“You’ve always been benevolent, Dean.” Genevieve gave him a quick side hug.

“You were talking about Kelly Price?” Allison said beside Seraphina. “That’s Dean’s Analyst.”

“That’s what everyone thinks,” Seraphina replied, scoffing faintly. “She’s his fiancee.”

“Of course,” Allison held her throat like she’s stopping herself from throwing up. “Look at them, they fit. It’s a pity you don’t wear these kinda dresses she wears. Your brutal shape will make her lock herself in her room for the rest of the year.”

Seraphina smiled.

Allison will always have her side. That’s a no-brainer.

“200 Million.” Marley raised his glass, continuing the donation.

“250,” Genevieve raised her glass. “Fatherless kids deserve more.”

“300.” Another voice came from the crowd of the wealthy.

“500.”

“550.”

“600.”

“750.”

“800….”

The donations kept rising, flowing in. It’s like an auction at this point.

“One billion.” Dean said again after long minutes of bidding.

Kelly’s hand is on his p+nts below their table.

She stroked his d+ck warmly.

“5.5 billion.” A voice came from the top balcony of the hall.

Everyone had to look up in overfilled shock.

Who’d donate that much to fuckin’ charity?

Jude stood on that balcony, raising his hand instead of wine glass.

“5.5.” he repeated.

“From the Priest?” Genevieve stood.

“Of course,” Jude smiled. “He said y’all can go home with your donations. His donation is enough to feed the orphanages.”

Dean stood, gasping.

“Tobias?”

“Father Tobias,” Jude corrected strictly before leaving the balcony.

Dean’s eyes widened.

5.5? From Tobias??

How???

Kelly stood with him too, astounded.

Half of the people in the room stood.

Seraphina’s mind raced, again.

Fear creeped in at the mention of Tobias damn name.

Saint is the only one grinning.

But in the middle of the shock, another wave crashed in.

Dora and Kimmy projected a video on the walls of the hall.

It’s not only on a spot. It’s on every spot on the wall on different screens like they used different projectors.

It’s on the floors and the ceilings too.

The screens are like hundred, and each screen is dedicated to Seraphina, showing how she was begging her highschool boyfriend to take her back after he broke up with her. She cried after him on the school field, and he laughed at her, taunting her with her v+rgin+ty that he took.

The video was only two minutes long, but pathetic.

Everyone watched quietly till Dora turned off the projectors and laughed so loud she choked on her own spit.

Allison has been holding Seraphina’s hand since the start of the video.

Seraphina’s whole skin is shaking, Allison could feel the tremble against herself as everyone stared at her.

Seraphina’s mouth tightened, nearly splitting her tongue in two.

She didn’t cry, but she shook more.

“Phina…” Allison muttered.

Genevieve and Marley look satisfied and happy with the shit-show of their two mean daughters.

“She has never been worthy of being loved. She has never been worthy of being a member of this family. She’d shame us at any chance she gets!” Kimmy shouted, joining Dora.

“So I sent her an invite, thinking she’d be too ashamed to join the gathering of success, but she still came!” Dora added. “She’s an epitome of shame!”

And that was the last straw.

Seraphina plucked her hand from Allison’s hold, grabbed a glass of cocktail since there’s no bottle.

If this were a movie, this is the part where the intense music rolls in.

Seraphina smashed the glass on the nearest table, breaking it and hurting herself in the process, but it doesn’t matter now.

She picked the sharp, crazily jagged part of the glass and ran across the tables, chairs, people, lights, till she arrived at her sisters side.

Dora received a stab on her chest first, then Kimmy received a stab on her upper arm.

The two sisters cried out in harmony as the glass pierced their flesh, and blood dropped on the hall floor.

Gasps tore from mouths.

Eyes widened again.

People gagged.

Acosta stayed neutral.

Allison smiled.

“Interesting.” Saint tapped the rim of his wine glass.

Genevieve and Marley couldn’t believe it.

“Guards!!!” Genevieve yelled.

“No,” Allison muttered, moving, but Seraphina was swifter.

Immediately the guards came inside, Seraphina dashed for the side staircase that led to the upper balcony.

Thankfully, her heels aren’t tall.

“Get her!” Marley yelled, veins stretching in his neck. “And call the cops and ambulance!”

Shoes pounded the marble behind Seraphina as the guards chased her to that top. She climbed the twelve stairs two at once, and fortunately for her, there’s a door at the top.

She entered, met another stair which took her down, and opened another door which took her to the underground park of the hotel.

Her eyes widened, cos her car isn’t here. She parked her car at the general park at the top.

But she gotta leave this place.

The guards bursted out behind her—six of them, coming at her tail.

Seraphina’s heart dropped, and her hair swirled as she turned back to the dark park, stacked with expensive black cars she hadn’t seen before.

The blinding headlights of one of the cars is now on. It’s obviously ready to move, so Seraphina took her chance.

She flew to the car, opened the backdoor and rushed in.

Her wide dress knocked her down immediately she entered, and she had to crawl on her knees as the familiar scent hit her in the gut.

But right now?

She has no time to think about who it is as she shoved her face somewhere in the car.

Unknown to her, she shoved her face in the middle of Tobias laps—right on top of his c+vk.

Tobias only came here to donate. He didn’t even enter the donation room cos they’re all unworthy ants who’re below him anyways.

He stayed in the car and only sent Jude to go do the donation.

Jude returned just now, and they were about to leave, but she crawled into his car.

Through the hood of his dark eyes, he looked down at her head, hooked between his legs.

Jude looked back from the driver’s seat, surprised.

“Who’s that?”

“Please… please take me out of here! I just want to leave here!” Seraphina begged, face still between those legs.

“What!” Jude blinked, not knowing who she is since she can’t see her hidden face anyways.

He looked at Tobias.

Tobias is still looking down at Seraphina’s head.

“Drive.” He said without looking up.

Jude didn’t argue.

He moved the car.

Hearing that voice, Seraphina tried to raise her face, but Tobias pressed down the back of her head with his left hand, keeping her face trapped—indirectly on top of his c+vk.

Feeling his insanely huge bulge on her lips, Seraphina choked.

TBC.
