⏩Jasmine’s POV⏩

I frown when i saw Chloe.

“hey are you gonna allow me in or keep on smiling while looking at me,” i said rudely then walked in not minding if i push her.

“Jasmine dear welcome home,” Camille said then hug me while i manage to hug her back not to make her feel bad.

“thank you for keeping your promise,” Camille said while i smiled back then look at Chloe who seems to be excepting hug from me.

I sat down then take a good look at their sitting room. It so large and beautiful, Sebastain must have spent a lot in giving them all this.

“well it a good thing you’re now rich. If you were still that poor do you think i will care to visit you even for a day,” i said while Camille and Chloe just smiled sadly.

“here is your aunt,” Camille introduce me to a woman.
“hi,” i said.

“welcome Jasmine, am Cecily,” she said while i nodded.

“where’s Erica? i asked with a smirk, the bi-tch is already hiding from me.

“Jasmine,” i heard her voice from the stairs.

“welcome to our mansion,” she said with a smirk while i rolled my eyes.

“don’t be too proud.. am still richer than you,” i said.

“it okay Jasmine.. so how have you been? mom asked trying to start a conversation with me.

“is that how you welcome a visitor, am starving,” i yelled while Erica rolled her eyes.

“then go to the kitchen and make something for yourself, well you’re a spoitl brat you don’t even know how to cook,” she said while i felt insulted, why is she always getting on my nerves, is it because of Ethan.

“Erica, please no need to say that,” Camille said while i smile.
“come here Jasmine, we’ve make your favorite,” she said then held my hand as we walked to the dining room and i was surprise with the delicious meal on the table, even my favorite meal.

“how did you know all these, it my favorite? i asked.

“well we just guess,” Camille said while i smile then sat down and ate a little from it cos i wasn’t that hungry.
“who prepare this meal? i asked.

“well it me and mom. Mom is a great cook and i learn that from her,”

Chloe said smiling while i frown at her.

“so are you trying to tell me that mom Karen isn’t a good cook and that’s why i couldn’t learn that from her? i scoffed.
“of course not, please don’t misunderstand her,” Camille said while i just nodded then stood up.

“so where’s my room? i asked.
“hope you’ll like it, just come over here,” Chloe said while i followed her upstairs and she took me to my room as they said, it painted to my favorite color, how the heck did they know all this.

“i like it,” i said smiling while i steal glances at Camille who was smiling, i have never seen her this close, she’s beautiful just like Chloe and me i guess.
“if you need anything just tell us right away,” she said while i nodded.

“i need to take my bath and where is the towel? i said while the all kept quiet.

“huh.. Chloe or Erica you should go and set my bath, i need to take my bath now,” i commanded.

“unfortunately for you then, we don’t have maid in the house,” Erica scoffed while i glare at her.

“you live in a big mansion like this and yet you couldn’t get a maid? i questioned.

“Jasmine, we are comfortable living like this we don’t need a maid,” Camille said.

“i will just do as you said,” Chloe said then walked out while i smiled.

“Well Chloe can act as your maid but i will never gonna do that,” Erica scoffed then walked out, i sighed then looked at Camille, she sat down at the edge of my bed.

“am happy you’re back to me my child, please just feel free with us,” she said while i smile.
“don’t you have a maid… then how did you manage the big house? i asked her.

“its just simple Jasmine. You know back then when i was with your dad and when we first had Chloe he insisted to get you a nanny but i refuse, i never like that because am capable of managing my home and also taking care of my children and husband,” she said while i laughed. I kept laughing and she look more confuse.

“why are you laughing? she asked.

“well it because of what you said, don’t you realise it, you’re not a good wife neither a good home maker nor good mother. Dad told me everything and how you cheated on him,” i said while her eyes are now getting teary.

“yes Jasmine it all my fault but you have to hear me first,” she said while i laughed then stood up.

“am so tired for now, i need to take my bath,” i said then walked out of her, am not gonna ever hear from her own story, afterall dad told me not to believe whatever they said, who knows if they want to use me against my own father.

✴️Camille’s POV✴️

I felt so happy seeing Jasmine with me even thou she’s kinda rude to us or me in particular, its still okay with me atleast she’s in my house and am happy, i’ll now get to be close to my daughter. I was still in my room unable to sleep, i stood up and went to check on Jasmine in her room she was already asleep, i walked in then sat down beside her and smile in tears.

I remember those days when i will tuck her to bed and read bedtime stories for her while Anton will sometimes sing for them until they got asleep. She was more close to me then because Anton was closer to Chloe and he love her so much, well he both love them both, everything changed now and it all my fault.

“i hope you’ll forgive me somday because i still feel you don’t like me,” i said to her holding her hand. I wish Jasmine grew up with me, she wouldn’t have hate me this way, everything will just be perfectly fine.

“i love you so much Jasmine and i hope you accept and see me as your mother soon,’ i said then ki-ssed her hair then went to my room. I picked up my phone and call Sebastain, thank goodness he picked up.
“Camille..

“thank you so much Sebastain,” i said almost in tears.

“are you okay Camille.. why are you thanking me? he asked.

“it all because of you.. you were right when you said you wanted to help me out. Jasmine even made it clear to us that if we were still that poor people she wouldn’t even come near to us, talk more of visiting us, i really appreciate all your effort,” i said.

“Camille.. you can always count on me and i mean it when i say i really want to help you i hope Jasmine accept you with a open arms? he asked.
“i don’t think so because she’s still acting rude,” i said.

“just give her time to adjust and get use to you and also her sisters believe me Camille everything will work out good,” he said while i smiled.

“thank you Seb, i really appreciates,” i said then hanged up. Sebastain has been of great help and i wish i can help him in anyway i can.

✴️The next morning… Jasmine was still asleep so we didn’t bother to wake her up, i and Cecily make breakfast.
“Erica! i called while she nodded.

“aren’t you happy to see Jasmine.. you guys are not in good terms,” i said.

“mom as far as you’re happy with Jasmine then am also happy, anything for you to be happy, afterall you deserve to be happy,” she said while i smile sadly.

“Erica please i know Jasmine is rude but we should try to tolerate her, i want to change her for good, she’s still our family and we can’t reject her,” I said while Erica nodded.
“anything for you,” she said while i hug-ged her.

“thank you so much Erica,” i said while she smile. It getting to 7pm and Jasmine hasn’t showed up, so, i, Chloe and Erica all went to check on her. We saw her awake but she’s still in bed busy with her phone.
“hi guys good morning,” she said then continue using her phone.

“Jasmine.. how was your night? i asked with a heavy heart, she acted as if we are nothing to her.

“was fine,” she said and continue punching her phone.
“breakfast is ready,” Chloe said with a smile while she dropped her phone then sat up.

“i can’t go to eat with you guys, i want my breakfast in bed and i only want to eat fried plantain this morning,” she said.

“what! who do you except to bring your breakfast in bed, can’t you get that into your fu-cking skull we don’t have maid in this house,” Erica said while Jasmine rolled her eyes.

“you called yourself my mother and you want to starve me, i thought you said you wanted to make it up to me, then go and bring my breakfast to me,” she said rudely to me.

“Jasmine.. i know you’re not use to all these but please show some respect she’s our mother, your mother in case you’ve forgotten,” Chloe said.

“huh…okay then i guess it better i leave this house, seems am not even welcome,” she said then stood up.

“no Jasmine, please stay back i’ll do everything you said, you’re right, i promise to make it up to you and be the mother you wanted,” i said while she smirk and Chloe looked at me sadly.

“i’ll just make your breakfast and bring it to you,” i said.
“then am waiting and be fast,” she said then laid back on her bed. I walked out of her room while Erica and Chloe followed me.

“mom, are you serious… Jasmine is ordering us around,” Chloe said.

“that’s not my problem Chloe… she’s used to all this, she have her maid and nanny around her whom she order around, we need to make her feel at home, i can’t misuse this opportunity to let go of Jasmine again, i don’t want Anton and his wife to still have a bad impression about me, i don’t want Jasmine to tell them that we couldn’t give her what she want,” i said to her.

“mom if she truly accept us she would have call you mom, but she didn’t even appreciate us, she talk to us the way she want and mostly she order us around, we’re not her slaves but her family and she suppose to treat us as one,’ Chloe said while i sighed.

“if this is what will make her love me then i will do everything she want,” i said then turn to leave.

“okay mom, you’ve tried a lot, just go and rest while i make her breakfast,” Chloe said..

?Jasmine’s POV?

I smiled as Chloe walked in with my breakfast.

“weldone my bastard sister,” i said with a smirk. I have to make sure she regret slapping me the other time at the party…?
