The Supermarket Cashier, Episode 3

"Happy birthday to you my love. Come with me, I have a huge surprise for you. Please, follow me silently, you deserve every good thing you are getting because you are a good man. I'm going to spend my money on you every single day of my life. Today is a special day for you and I want to make it memorable for you. Please, come with me." Msizi tells Sizwe when he returned from work that evening. She waited for him to return from work because she did not want anything to take his attention from the birthday surprise she was going to show him.

"Where are we going?" Sizwe asked. He was confused because he was blindfolded by Msizi who was leading him by the hand like a blind man. He followed obediently without knowing where they were heading to.

"Just follow me without protest. We will soon get to our destination." Msizi said. She was nicely dressed in a beautiful red gown with heels that greatly brought out her shape.

"Here we are." Msizi said as she stopped and then removed the blindfold on Sizwe's face and behold, there was a beautiful jeep parked before him. It was decorated with colourful ribbons. and balloons. Sizwe was blown away when he was told that the car belongs to him.

"This is your birthday gift. The car belongs to you and no one else. It is my token of appreciation to you for being such a nice and supportive boyfriend to me. Happy birthday to you my love." Msizi said blushingly. She dipped her hands in her handbag and produced the car keys and handed them over to Sizwe who still had his mouth agape in surprise.

"Are you joking or what?" Sizwe asked with his eyes and mouth wide open in total surprise.

"I'm not joking. It's your car. This is the receipt. You can see that the car was bought in your name. It belongs to you. You are a good man and I will always give you every good thing I can afford. Enjoy your car." Msizi said to Sizwe. He collected the car keys with tears in his eyes and then went into the car. Luckily for him, he knows how to drive because years ago, he had gone to learn how to drive hoping that he could get a driving job. The driving knowledge will now be put to use in his own car.

"God is great! Today is one of the happiest days in my life. I never knew that the woman I love would change my life. Not only that she bought houses in my name, she has also gifted me a car on my birthday. I'm so overwhelmed with happiness that I don't even know how to express it properly." Sizwe sald as he entered the car and turned on the ignition. He throttled the car hard and the sound filled the air.

"This is so nice!" Sizwe said. He came down from the jeep and jumped into Msizi's arms as they hugged so tightly in happiness and love.

"Thank you so much for this gift. I promise to be a good lover to you. You will never regret falling in love with me." Sizwe said.

"Now, I also wanted to take you to a nice place so we can celebrate my birthday together. Enter the car lets go." Sizwe said as they both drove off in speed. The fact that he was driving his own car made him feel on top of the world. Soon, he branched into one corner of the road and drove into a beautiful restaurant where he loves to spend time during celebratory events such as his birthday. He parked the car and came out like a big boy who has made it in life. He and Msizi walked into the restaurant hand in hand. Sizwe chose a very comfortable corner and they sat down and ordered for food and drinks. As they were eating and enjoying themselves, Sizwe put his left hand into his suit pocket and brought out an engagement ring.

"Msizi, will you marry me? I have kept this for so long and I don't think it needs to wait anymore. Today is the best day for me to propose to you. Please, marry me. Be my wife so that we can take this our love and relationship to the next level. Will you marry me? Please, I beg you, don't reject me." Sizwe said. He was almost moved to tears while saying those words. He has come to love Msizi so much. What he has for her is genuine love. In fact, he had loved her even before she started showering him with money and gifts. Long ago, he had made up his mind that he was going to marry Msizi. As an honorable man, he decided to keep to his words.

"How can I reject you? This is what I have been praying for since the very first day I met you. If I leave you, I don't think I will ever find a man like you. I will marry you. Please, put the ring in my finger without delay." Msizi said. She was almost feeling like Sizwe would change his mind if she did not accept the ring immediately.

"Thank you so much for not rejecting me. Now, my joy is complete." Sizwe quickly put the ring on her finger and they hugged and shared a peck.

"I have another surprise for you." Msizi said.

"What is the surprise again? You are just full of surprises. As a matter of fact, you keep surprising me every day. Please, go ahead and tell me the surprise, because my heart is beating fast." Sizwe said to Msizi.

"It's a big surprise, but I will tell you when we get home." Msizi said.

"I don't like someone keeping me in suspense. Please, tell me now, I can't wait until we get home. Tell me now that it is hot." Sizwe said.

"No! I will tell you when we get home. Be patient my love." Msizi said. Soon, they left the restaurant and started driving home. Sizwe was driving very fast because he wants to get home quickly and hear the surprising news that Msizi has for him.
