“Are you kidding me?” Sephy asked as she stood in Raphael’s room.

“Do I look like am joking here?” Madam Jojo asked in return.

“But still….he gave me the task to work as a maid because he didn’t want to see me, some thing am content with. Telling me to be his personal maid is…..it’s just not right! ” Sephy said trying to make Madam jojo understand.

“Raphael might be the boss around here but when it comes to the maids and chores of this house, I decide and I want you to work here, so stop complaining and begin your work” Madam Jojo said before walking out of the room leaving Sephy there alone.

She had been content with the thought of being away from Raphael by working as one of his maid but this had to happen.

Angrily, she began wiping things in his room.

She was cleaning his desk when a paper fell off.

Picking it up, she opened it only to see a map.

“I don’t understand a thing” she muttered still checking the map out and that was how Raphael saw her when he walk into the room.

“What are you doing with that?” Raphael asked startling her.

Walking towards her, he picked up the map which had fallen out of her hand.

“What are you doing with this?” He asked.

“Nothing. I was only wiping your desk when it fell off. Is it some thing important?” Sephy asked.

“That’s none of your business ” he replied hotly.

“It is some thing important right? A mission which you are planning to go to? Let me tell you that with the slaves you have, you don’t need more”

“So if you are going to steal more slaves then it’s best you stop. Madam Jojo is having a hard time monitoring the one you have and so if you bring more, you will only be….”

“And who exactly told you that the people working for me are my slaves?” Raphael asked.

“I came to my own conclusion and besides people like you only take in other people as slaves, you are like a black devil, a typical mafia Lord” she said her face wrinkling in distaste.

Raphael was tempted to laugh since it’s the first time some one addressed him as a mafia Lord.

“And what do you think mafia Lord like myself do to typical slaves like you?” He asked setting the map aside.

“You tend to punish, torture and what’s worst, you kill! I never want to get on your bad side” she said.

” Am glad to know that but then I really want to do one of those three things to you right now” he said which got her brow raising in alert.

“If you kill me then my father won’t let you go and my soul will come back…..”

“Kill? Why would I kill you when you I have two other option. I would rather torture you but not in the way you think. I have another kind of torture in mind” he said as his gaze drift towards the bed.

“Don’t you dare!” She said raising the dusting stick towards him.

“Why exactly are you here?” He asked holding back his laughter.

“I should be asking you that. You acted all macho sending me out of your room this morning but here I am due to your order” she said folding her arms over her chest.

“It’s not me” he said.

“But madam Jojo told me that am assigned here and….”

“She probably did that on her own free will. I don’t meddle with the domestic side of things since she’s capable enough” Raphael replied.

“Then I better go and tell her to change my task” she said wanting to leave but Raphael got to the door before she could go out.

“Instead of leaving, we can seize the opportunity of being alone and do some thing more interesting” Raphael said winking at her.

“I clearly remember that there’s some one called Gin Gin” She replied.

“Gin Gin? Who is that?” He asked clearly confused.

“Ginger, it’s the nick name I gave to her” Sephy replied and for a while he stared at her before bursting into laughter.

Sephy was lost starring at his handsome face and that got her feeling strange on the inside.

“Wait till Ginger hears that, she’s going to eat you alive” he said sobering up.

“And that’s what I don’t want. It’s clear to me that you are her property and I don’t step on some one’s territory” Sephy told him.

“Am not hers. I belong to no one but am willing to change my mind if you give me a kiss” he said.

“In your dreams” she said walking past him but he pulled her back and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.

“Why did you do that?”

“To thank you for making me smile. It’s been a while since I did that and so it’s a little thank you from me though I would like to give you more” he said starring at her body.

“Pervert! ” She called as she quickly walk out of the room leaving the smiling Raphael there.

Heading back to his desk, he pulled out the map Sephy had seen earlier.

“Hope she didn’t see anything” He muttered still starring at the piece of paper.
