REX QUARTERS

Violet was starring out of her window when the door open to reveal Rex.

After what happened between them, she hasn’t layed eyes on him and in her current mood, she would have liked it if it had kept being that way.

“You refused to join me for lunch” he said but she ignored him.

“Ignoring me won’t solve anything” he said to earn her attention and when she still didn’t say a thing, he move towards her and pull her arm.

“What is it? Can’t you see that I don’t want to talk to you?” She asked pulling away.

“If you are saying that because of what happened between us then you can forget it. Ignoring me won’t change the fact that we slept together and neither would it get rid of me. Am the only person who will be in your life as long as you are here, get used to that” he declared letting her go.

He was almost at the door when she spoke.

“Then at least give me some thing to do”

“Uh?”

“Am a dexterous person. Being locked up all day and not having a thing to do is choking” she said

“So you want to work?” He asked and she nodded in reply.

“That isn’t a problem and….”

“And I want a work which wouldn’t let me be close to you. Any job is fine as long as I don’t have to see your face” she said bluntly and that got him chuckling.

“So you want me to give you a job that will enable you not to see my face” he asked and she nodded.

“But you do know that we share this room right?” Rex asked.

“Since when?”

“Since we both made love” he replied.

“It’s just s*x, forget it happen just like I did” she said.

“S*x with you can’t be forgotten easily and just like have told you, there’s definitely going to be a next time. That aside, let me show you where you will work” he said taking hold of her hand before she could stop him.

He led her into a room which had lot of paper around the room.

” Where’s this place?” She asked starring around in amazement.

“Important document are kept here. Am actually the one who ruined it this way since am not an orderly person. So it’s your job to fix it” he said.

“I love challenges like this” she said moving towards a pile of sheets.

“Am glad you do. Finish up then” he said going to seat at a desk which got Violet starring at him.

“Why aren’t you leaving?” Violet asked.

“Why should I leave my office?” He asked in return.

“This is your work place?” Violet asked and he nodded , grinning mischievously.

“But I made it clear to you that I don’t want to work in a place where you are” she yelled at him.

“And I told you that you can’t get rid of me easily” he replied going through his document.

“You are unbearable” she said as she began her task.

Violet was so focused on her task that she didn’t notice Rex watching her every move.

Rex didn’t know why he’s suddenly getting ha-rd just by watching her do a simple task.

She knelt to pick up a sheet which had fallen on the floor and her @ss jutted out, molding shapely in the jeans she wore.

Not being able to bear it, he got out of his seat and went towards her.

“Get up!” He said gruffly even as he pulled her up and into his arms.

“What are you doing?” She asked trying to pull out of his arms but he tightened his hold.

“Do you know that you are driving me crazy?” He murmured and when she said nothing, he kissed her.

They were still kissing when some one walk into the room.

“What the hell is going on here?”
