Irene couldn’t get herself into the room.

“What’s happening to Josie?” She yelled at Casper. He was the only one with her.

He didn’t know when he started shedding tears.

“I don’t know, she…I was…”

“No no no, it’s all my fault” she said and slowly sat down.

Garrett walked towards her and tried to calm her down but it was difficult.

“I just hope she’s okay” she muttered.

Few minutes later, the doctor walked out of the room with an expressionless face.

Irene ran to him.

“Is Josie alright? Can I go see her now?” She asked pointing to Josie’s room.

The doctor sighed de-eply.

Irene furrowed her eyebrows and took a step back. She un-derstood the meaning of that sigh.

“No. Don’t tell me my sister is… Dead?”

“I’m sorry, we lost her”

Casper gr@bb£d the doctor by the collar and kept on j£rking him back and front.

“What do you mean by you lost her? Then, go find her. Yu can’t just lost her!”

“Man, you have to calm down” Leo said and pu-ll-ed him away from the doctor.

“I’m sorry for the loss” he said and left.

Irene stood there dumbfounded. She left like the whole world just crumpled on her head.

“Josie’s gone. What do I tell mom, dad and little Zoe? It’s all my fault this happened to Josie” She said slowly while staring into the thin air.

“plea-se Irene, don’t blame yourself” Tony tried to call her down.

Her phone rang, it was her mother calling.

She answered the call and slowly placed the phone on her ear.

“Mom…”

“Hey Irene, why did you hang up like that? You got me worried. Your dad is…”

“She’s gone”

“What do you mean by that? Who’s gone? Gone where?” Her mother asked with a chuckle. She doesn’t want to imagine what was going on in her head.

“Josie”

“What?!! Josie? How did she? Oh no! Honey! Doctor!!! plea-se help, doctor. Anyb©dy!”

“Mom? What’s happening? Mom…”

The call got disconnected.

Irene started breathing ha-rd . Her phone fell on the floor before she also fainted.

Few days later….

“Shhh, she’s awake”

Irene heard a murmur as she opened her eyes. The sight was blurry.

“What happened?” She asked slowly as she tried to sit up.

“No, don’t stress yourself Irene. Just l@yback and rest. Leo, call the doctor”

“Doctor for what? What happened?” She asked again, this time forcing herself up.

She looked round and saw that she was in her house.

She saw her mother sitting with her on the be-d.

Her eyes were swollen and red.

“Mom, what happened?” She questioned.

“You have to relax Irene, you just woke up. You’ve been unconscious for three days now”

“What? Why? Oh no, Josie!” She remembered everything and started crying.

She folded her legs and cried into her l@p.

“And your father”

She heard her mother’s faint voice.

She quic-kly j£rked her head up and stared at her.

“What happened to dad? Where is he? No, don’t tell me he’s dead. I can’t just lose two people at once. Why me?!!”

Garrett and the others tried to calm her down. It took her days to finally move on with her life.

King Zen was in front of his throne walking to and fro. He was thinking about what happened to Irene.

The queen walked towards him.

She was also sympathizing with Irene’s family.

“I have a lot going on in my mind and I know you do. You nee-d to calm yourself down not to complicate things”

The king turned to face his wife.

“I un-derstand. What I’m thinking about now is the throne. The princes have three weeks left to find the wanted v!rg!nand I don’t….”

“You just be calm Zen. I trust the princes, they will find her but only one. Even the stars re-ad their fortune” the chief said as he slowly walked towards the throne.

“How chief? They’ve been blinded by Irene’s beauty and won’t concentrate on their inheritance” the queen said in frustration.

The chief sighed and shook his head.

“Children…” He said and left.

“Let’s just wait and see. Three weeks, just three weeks remaining”

Irene walked out of her room and saw the princes sitting in her sitting room.

She furrowed her eyebrows and walked towards them.

“What’s up guys? I mean, my princes” she said and rolled her eyes, without smiling.

“We nee-d to talk to you” Tony said.

“I’m fine now. You all should concentrate on the throne. I think you have less than three weeks left”

“Keep that aside for now. It’s about your mother” Leo said.

“Yes, you have to listen to us” Casper added.

“Fine. Spill it”

“We wanted your mom to leave the country and go anywhere she wants to for her to be free. She seems heartbroken and this place can only remind her of the pain and sorrow”

Irene lowered her gaze. She knew they were right.

“I un-derstand but there’s nothing I can do. I don’t have money to…”

“I’ll take care of everything” Garrett said.

“No, I’ll take care of it Garret” Casper sh0t him a ha-rd glare.

“Do you guys want to keep arguing this or what?” She asked.

“Here’s a cheque. I hope that can help. If you nee-d anything, just let me know” Tony gave it to her.

Irene collected it and smiled at Tony.

“Thanks boo” she blew him a k!ssand went upstairs.

They all diverted their gaze to Tony with a frown.

“Seriously?”

“What?!” He rolled his eyes and left.

They all left the house and went back to the palace.
