Liam’s POV

I got home, took my bath and lay on my bed waiting patiently for Daniel to arrive. Truth be told, I was really nervous but I have to do this before it’s too late.

Few minutes before I drifted to sleep, I heard a car drive in and guessing it was Daniel, I left my room and headed downstairs.

Like I guessed, it was really Daniel.

“I’m sorry for the improptu meeting, it’s just that I have to do this now. Freshen up and come back downstairs” I said to Daniel and sat on one of the couches in the sitting room

Minutes later

“So… I called you guys here because there’s something important I want is to discuss” I said and gulped nervously

“Yeah, I know. So just get it done with, I want to sleep” Daniel said tiredly

“Okay. I want us to cancel the bet we placed on Aubrey” I dropped the bombshell

“Wait! You said what?” Jayden asked not believing what he heard

“Let’s cancel the bet we placed on Aubrey. I’ve fallen in love with her and I can’t help it, please” I said helplessly

“You’ve got to be kidding me. We’ve never cancelled any bet and Aubrey won’t be an exception” Daniel said angrily

“I thought you were no longer interested in the bet” I said turning to face Daniel with shock written all over my face

“Me too” Jayden supported

“Well, I’m interested or is there any law that says I can’t participate in the bet?” he asked nonchalantly

“No, but let’s cancel the bet please. I’ve never fallen in love and you know it so just please, forget about Aubrey”

“I can’t do that” Jayden huffed and left

“Me neither” Daniel also left

Oh goodness! What do I do now?

Khloe’s POV

I curled up in my bed and stared at the pictures I took with Liam when we were together.

I really miss those times.

Although, we never dated but being with him alone is more than enough.

Have I really lost him for good? Is there no hope for us to be together again?

What am I even saying? There is definitely no hope that we will ever be together because he’s in love with Aubrey now.

“Ma’am, your friend is here” one of my maids came to tell me

“Natalie right?”

” Yes ma’am”

“Alright, let her in” I said and sat up

“What’s wrong with you Khloe?” she asked immediately she got in

“Nothing. I’m fine” I said with a faux smile

“You can keep your act toyourself, I know you’re not okay” she said walking closer to my bed

Huh? Why is she coming closer? No way, she couldn’t have seen it right? I started moving closer to my phone slowly so as to cover the screen but I was to late

“You’re starting at the pictures of you and Liam?” she exclaimed in shock

“N…. No, it’s not what you think” I stuttered fiddling with my fingers

“Ohh…. It’s what then?” she asked sitting

“I just….. It was a mistake. I have no reason to stare at his picture”

“Why are you lying to yourself Khloe? You love Liam and you know it”

“I don’t love him Natalie. Please, let’s just forget about this”

“You’re going to end up hurting yourself Khloe. It’s either you get rid of those feelings or you go for him”

“Thanks for your advise, can we now move on to the next topic”

“I just hope it’s not to late before you realize what I’m trying to say”

Min Ju’s POV

I was able to persuade dad to let me continue schooling so I don’t have an extra year.

I’m going to be resuming school after all this while, I wonder if I will ever be able to face anyone after what happened.

Why am I even scared? The Kim Min Ju I know doesn’t care about what anyone says or thinks about her. I will go to school with my head held high as usual.

I got into my newest car and my driver took me to school. I stepped down from my car like the princess I am and walked to my cla-ss with shoulders high.

The students kept murmuring among themselves but I don’t care because that’s the highest they can do.

I had almost gotten to cla-ss when Khloe appeared from nowhere. Oh no! Not again.

“What do you want?” I asked with an eyeroll

The next thing I felt on my cheek was a seven star slap.

What?!! Did Khloe just slap me?

“You still have the guts to open that stinking mouth of yours to sputter ru-bbish before me. How dare you?” she screamed attra-cting the attention of students.

“Five of you, come forward” she said to some junior students

Okay, what is she trying to do?

“stri-p her and beat her to a pulp, now!!!!!!” she screamed at the top of her voice

Are these girls going to do it? No, of course not. They wouldn’t dare!

Huh? They’re really coming closer!

“What are you trying to do? Do you know who I am in this school?” I screamed

“You’re right. We don’t know who you are and sadly, we don’t want to know” one of them said and they all came to me

They took off my clothes until I was left in just p@n-ties and bra before they started beating me like Khloe ordered.

I thought they were going to kill me until I heard the principal’s voice.

“What is going on here?”

The girls left me and moved back immediately. Ahh! Finally!

“Ohh my goodness! Take her to the clinic immediately. You girls, follow me” the principal said and left

Khloe’s POV

I huffed angrily and followed the principal to her office with the girls.

“Why are you here Zoey?” she asked when I got into her office with the girls

“I ordered them to do what they did so let them go and punish me instead”

“I can’t do that”

“Please principal, just let them go”

“Fine. You girls can leave but if it happens again, you will be severely punished” the principal warned sternly

“Thank you ma’am, thank you Khloe” they said and left

“So… What was the meaning of all that?”

“I’m sorry ma’am” I said pretending to be sober

“You’re sorry? That won’t change anything. I know she was wrong posting your nu-de pictures online but you went to far”

“Your punishment will be detention. Join Aubrey and Liam in cleaning the library and sto-re after school. You can leave”

I left her office angrily and headed to cla-ss. Now that I think about it, I’m going to be in the library with Aubrey and Liam. How am I supposed to cope with the feeling I have for Liam?

Khloe’s POV

After school closed, I took my bag and kept my books before heading to the library for detention.

Natalie and Aubrey just stared at me without saying a word. I totally appreciate the fact that they didn’t question me since morning.

I dropped my bag on a chair and began dusting and cleaning without waiting for Aubrey and Liam.

Few minutes later, they came in and started dusting after dropping their bags too.

We cleaned for two hours before we finally stopped and decided to go home.

I took my bag and wanted leaving as usual when Liam’s voice stopped me.

“Are you okay Khloe?” he asked making me turn to him

“What am I even saying? You’re definitely not okay. Just don’t think about it much, everything will be fine. Forget about the past and move on, okay?” he said surprising the hell out of me

Liam has really changed a lot and it’s all thanks to Aubrey. Maybe I don’t really deserve him, maybe Aubrey is the one that truly deserves him.

“Thanks Liam” I said lowly and left

Aubrey’s POV

I watched as Liam asked Khloe if she was okay and I won’t deny the fact that I felt jealous.

“Khloe is your friend so you shouldn’t feel that way” my subconscious scolded

“Are you alright Aubrey?” Liam asked after Khloe left

“I’m fine or don’t I look alright?”

“You seem to be ……. Nevermind, let’s go home” he said and I just nodded my head before picking my bag

“So what are you going to do when you get home?” Liam asked on our way out and it made me remember I have a concert on Saturday

Liam is a part of me now so I see no reason why I should hide my identity from me. I really love him and he loves me too so I guess I will tell him the truth now.

“Uhhm…. Liam, I want to tell you something”

“Something? Okay, go on” he said and stopped walking

“I… I.. I’m not…..”

“What are you two still doing in school by this time?” Min Seok suddenly walked up to us cutting me off

“How is that your business? Besides, what are you also doing in school?” Liam asked

“Well, the only friend I have in this school is in the school clinic so I had to check up on her before going home. Can you now answer my question?”

“I don’t owe you an explanation but I’m still going to answer you anyway. We’re on detention”

“Detention? What did you do?”

“That’s none of your business” Liam said with an eyeroll

I just stared at them as they talked without saying a word.

“Okay then. I will be leaving” he said and stared at me while I took my eyes to the floor

“Bye” Liam said and we continued our journey

“So what is it you wanted to say?” he asked when we got to the gate

“Errm…. It’s nothing”

“You were close to telling me before Min Seok interrupted us”

“I will tell you about it later” I said scratching my hair.

“Hmm… Ok, if you say so. Let’s go home”

“Why are you sounding like we’re headed to the same place?”

“I want to take you home today” he said making me gulp nervously

“I can go home on my own, you really don’t have to worry” I said trying to confuse him but it was useless

“No Aubrey, I’m taking you home. No argument”

“Alright then” I said a little bit angrily thinking he will change his mind but it didn’t move him one bit

“You have to give me directions or should I just drive to wherever I want?”

“Yeah, you can drive to wherever you want” I said and took my eyes to the other side of the car

“Why are you behaving this way Aubrey?” he asked after parking the car

“How am I behaving?”

“You know what? I’m not driving you home again, you can go on your own”

“Fine, I’m sorry. You can take me home”

“No, just go home on your own”

“But I said I’m sorry” I said with pouted li-ps hoping it will change his mind but he was still adamant

“Fine then, I’m leaving” I said angrily and got down to take a taxi home

Kim Min Ju’s POV

After hours of sleeping, I finally woke up and saw myself in the school clinic. Everything came rushing in almost immediately.

How Khloe ordered some girls to stri-p and beat me. The only fortunate thing is that we don’t have a school group chat anymore, else it would have been the next trending topic.

“Your friend was here. He said his name is Min Seok and he just left few minutes ago” a nurse told me when she noticed I was awake

“Ohh….. How many minutes did he spend here?”

“I think he spent close to two hours with you?”

What?!!! How will he wait for two hours?

“Thank you” I managed to tell the nurse

“You’re welcome. The doctor said you can be discharged when you wake up”

“Okay. Can I get a phone to call my driver?”

“Sure, just a moment” she said and left

So Min Seok cares about me? He’s handsome and I will love to date him but I don’t feel a thing for him. I only want to feel him inside me, that’s all.

Liam’s POV

I got down from my car angrily and went inside. Why does Aubrey have to behave like a child sometimes?

It’s not a bad thing to want to take my girlfriend home or is it? I huffed and took off my clothes before going to the bathroom.

After I wore my clothes, I picked my phone and wanted calling Aubrey, but on a second thought, I decided not to call her.

She’s the one at fault so she should be the one to call first. I dropped my phone and went downstairs to eat something but I sp-otted Jayden in the sitting room.

“Jayden, what’s up?”

“I’m fine” he responded without taking his eyes from his phone

“Jayden, what about what I discussed with you guys yesterday?”

“What did we discuss?” he asked feigning ignorance

“About Aubrey. I mean it when I say I love her. Please talk to Daniel for me”

“We are proceeding with the bet and that’s final. You can back out if you want” he said and walked away angrily

“Jayden! Jayden!!” I called but he didn’t stop

How the hell am I supposed to go about this now?
