Liam’s POV

What’s this feeling I’m having for Aubrey? I’m really tired of it! My head keeps fluttering and my heartbeat increases anytime I’m with her.

I would never give in to this feeling no matter what happens.

She already confessed to have fallen in love with me at first time. I just need to take things slow and before you know it, I will deflower her.

I just can’t wait to win THE BET like I’ve always done.

Min Seok’s POV

I don’t think I can stay away from Aubrey any longer. I’ve missed her smile and shy behaviour.

She tried talking to me throu-ghout this week but I just ignored her. I don’t like the way she’s always with Liam like he’s her boyfriend or something and that will keep causing problems between us.

Min Ju has been a really supportive friend so far but she still can’t be like Aubrey. Aubrey is the best friend you could ever ask for.

I and Min Ju went to the park today. We had fun and ate to our fill. I wished it was Aubrey I went with instead, it would have been more fun. Min Ju also wasn’t bad though. At least, she made me happy and forget some things for a while.

Monday morning

I headed to school with just one thought in mind, talking to Aubrey. I got to school and the first person I saw was her.

Wow! Looks like luck is on my side. I hastened my step so I could catch up with her.

“Good morning Aubrey” I greeted standing side by side with her

“Morning” she stuttered and stopped to stare at me obviously shocked

“I’m really sorry Aubrey, for the way I’ve been acting towards you” I apologized sincerely

“You don’t have to be sorry Min Seok, I should be the one apologising” she said softly

“Let’s just forget all this and go back to being friends”

“Alright. How have you been?”

“I’ve been fine, and you?”

“I’ve been fine too”

“Okay. I just hope Liam won’t ruin our friendship anymore”

“He won’t, I will talk to him”

“Ohh…. But why are you sounding like he has no choice but to listen to you when he isn’t your boyfriend” I said making her pause for a while

“Actually, Liam is now my boyfriend” she dropped the bombshell and I had to move back for a while

What the heck? Within few days, Liam is now her boyfriend? Unbelievable!

“Seok?” she called jolting me out of my thoughts

“Uhhm…. Sorry, I was just thinking about something”

“Alright. I guess we’ll talk later then, my friends her here” she said pointing towards their direction

“Sure! See you later” I said and walked away

Aubrey’s POV

I wonder why Min Seok suddenly went into de-eper thoughts after I told him Liam is now my boyfriend. That’s not my business anyway!

“Good morning Khloe, morning Nat” I greeted them

“Morning Aubrey. What’s the secret to your happy mood this morning?” Khloe asked with raised brows

“My mood is neutral, stop teasing me”

“She’s not teasing you. You really look happy in a different way this morning” Natalie also said

“Awwn……and she’s blus-hing” Khloe said again

“You guys should stop it, there’s nothing strange about me” I said seriously

“Your wish is our command” they said with a small bow and three of us ended up giggling

“Good morning ladies” we heard Liam’s voice behind us which instantly sent a cold shiver down my spine

“Morning” we responded

“How was your night?” he asked coming over to me

“It was fine” I answered bowing my head shyly

“Uhhm….. Is there something we’re missing here?” Nat asked

“Maybe” Liam answered

“Ohh… So what could that be?” Nat continued

“It’s simple. Aubrey is now my girlfriend” Liam answered

“Wow! …… I wish you guys the best. Let’s give them privacy” Nat said pulling Khloe along with her

“You shouldn’t have told them, I wanted to do it myself” I said pouting my li-ps

“I didn’t know, I’m sorry”

“It’s okay. How was your night?”

“Not too fine. I missed you” he said making me blus-h

“I missed you too. Hope you’ve eaten this morning?”

“No, you?”

“I’ve eaten. Why didn’t you eat?”

“I wanted to get to school early so I can see your pretty face”

“Ohh….. But at least you should have eaten something. Let’s go to the cafeteria then”

“No, I’m fine. Seeing your face has made me filled already, I will eat in the afternoon”

“There’s no way I’m falling for that. Let’s go”

“We’re going to drag attention to ourselves that way, are you ready for that?” he asked making me gulp nervously

He’s right! I don’t think I’m ready for that yet. If word gets out that were dating, I will have lots of enemies.

“Fine then, but don’t do it again. Promise?”

“I promise”

“Okay then, we’ll see at lunch”

“Alright. I love you” he said and blew kis-ses at me before leaving

Khloe’s POV

I know I advised Aubrey to date Liam because he really loves her but seeing them together made me realize how crazily I’m falling in love with Liam each pa-ssing day.

“Are you okay Khloe?” Natalie asked

“I’m fine” I managed to fake a smile

“You’re not fine Khloe. Something is definitely wrong and I think I can guess”

“Nothing is wrong with me”

“Yeah…..but you’re jealous seeing Aubrey and Liam together” she said plainly while I gulped nervously

“What are you talking about? I’m not jealous of Aubrey, I was even the one that convinced her to date Liam” I said trying to make her believe me but she didn’t

“You don’t need to hide your feelings Khloe. I’ve been your friend for a while now so I know you like the back of my palm. Believe me when I say you’re in love with Liam”

“I’m not in love with him” I stood my ground

“Okay then, let’s a-ssume I believe you. Why are you jealous seeing them together then?”

“I’m not jealous. Let’s go for devotion” I said and walked away before she could say a word

I need to stop making it obvious that I love Liam because I wouldn’t want Aubrey to start feeling bad. It’s going to be ha-rd though, but I’m willing to try.
