Min Seok’s POV

Why is Aubrey upset with me or am I just over thinking things? But it looked like she was angry, she didn’t even want to talk to me.

She already said we would talk tomorrow so I guess I just have to wait till then.

“Min Seok” Min Ju called out to me

“Hi there” I waved at her

“I’m fine. Are you leaving already?” she was standing inches away from me

“Yeah. I need to help my mom with some things at home”

“Ohh… I thought we will be able to spend little time before you go home but it’s fine, your mom needs you more. We will talk tomorrow, bye” she said with a smile and left

I think she has changed and my heart didn’t even help matters. It just kept fluttering till she left. I can’t possibly be falling for Min Ju, right?

Aubrey’s POV

I woke up in the evening feeling strong and better. What of Samantha? I looked around the room but she wasn’t there, maybe she’s in the sitting room.

I stood up and went to the sitting room and I met her there, playing games on her phone

“How are you doing Sam?” I asked her but she just kept quiet

“Are you still mad at me?” I asked her poutingly

“No, I’m not” she stood up and wanted walking away but I blocked her path

“Fine, I will tell you what happened”

“I don’t want to hear it anymore” she said with an eyeroll

“Please Sam”

“Okay. Fine then”

We both sat down on a couch and I explained what happened to her.

“Do you think I’m in love with Min Seok?” I asked her when I was done

“Well…. I can’t really say for sure but you do feel something for him from what you explained just now. Do you feel the same way you feel towards Liam around him?”

“No”

“Okay. For now, let’s just say you’re in love with Liam and Min Seok is your really close friend”

“Alright. That reminds me! Liam…. ” I wanted to say but I kept quiet

Samantha is going to get mad at me if I say it. I should have told her about it before but it sipped my mind.

“Liam what?” she asked suspiciously, her eyes not leaving mine

“It’s nothing, I will be leaving now”

“So you’ve started keeping secrets from me? I knew it would come to this. Bye”

“It’s not like that Sam. I’m just shy and besides, you’re going to be upset with me”

“That shouldn’t matter, just tell me”

“Liam asked me out” I finally dropped the bombshell

“Liam did what?” she asked with her eyes almost popping out of its socket

“He asked me to be his girlfriend” I answered with an eyeroll

“Wow!! So you’re finally dating! Thank goodness”

“Uhhm…. I don’t get you” I said almost confusion

“Aren’t you and Liam dating?”

“No, we’re not”

“But you just said he asked you out”

“Yes but I told him to give me time”

“You’re joking right?”

“Of course not!”

“Are you this dumb Aubrey? Someone you love asked you out and you told him you will think about it? What are you thinking about huh?”

“I just didn’t want to look cheap to him”

“Whatever! If he asks you again, just say yes but don’t make it look like you’ve been crushing on him or dying to date him”

“Yes boss”

“Nau-ghty girl! Now get going, it’s getting late”

“Alright. Bye!!”

Next morning

Min Seok’s POV

I got to school and stood at the gate waiting patiently for Aubrey to walk in so I can be the first person she will talk to.

I was still waiting when Liam drove into the school. He got down from his car and also stayed at the gate waiting for Aubrey. We kept throwing murderous glares at each other until Aubrey arrived.

Both of us rushed to meet her immediately not giving her a breathing space.

“Good morning Aubrey” we greeted glaring at each other

Aubrey just stared at us confused not knowing what to do.

“M… Morning” she finally managed to stutter

“Aubrey, can I have a word with you?” we both asked at the same time

What exactly is Liam’s problem? He met me waiting for Aubrey so why can’t he just leave us alone? Gosh!

“I will love to be alone. Bye” she said wanting to walk away but Liam held her back

“No Aubrey. This was what you said the last time. You have to pick one among us” Liam said adamantly

Hearing this, I just turned back and headed to cla-ss. We didn’t end things in good terms yesterday so she won’t think twice before choosing Liam. Instead of having to face that embarra-ssment, I will just head to cla-ss on my own.

“Min Seok” Aubrey called out to me but I didn’t even behave like I heard, I just kept walking without looking back. She should spend a good time with Liam.
