Aubrey’s POV

I wonder why Jayden suddenly wants to be friends with me. First it was Liam, then Min Seok and now it’s Jayden, who would be the next?

I shrugged the thoughts off and went home to meet Samantha in my room.

“Girlfriend!” I exclaimed happily and hug-ged her “I’ve missed you”

“I wasn’t around for only one day and you’re screaming like this? Keep pretending”

“You know that’s a lie Sam, I really missed you”

“Yeah, yeah whatever! How was school today?”

“Fine, I think”

“Hmm. Is there something I’m missing?”

“N… No. Of course not.”

“Spill it” she said making me roll my eyes

“Well, Jayden asked me to be his friend and… ”

“And what?” she asked with raised brows

“And nothing”

“Aubrey…. So you’ve started hiding things from me?” she asked feigning hurt

“Fine! I went out with Min Seok yesterday”

“Like a date?”

“No! We’re just friends”

“Better! Liam is the guy for you”

“Can we not talk about Liam? I have a concert to prepare for”

“Okay. Make me proud like always. I will be leaving now, I only came to say hi because I know you miss me”

“Alright. Thanks! Sorry I won’t be able to see you off”

“No problem about that. Just practice ha-rd and take care of yourself. Bye”

Mary’s POV

I have a feeling that something is going to happen today and it’s a bad feeling. Is it finally time for me to leave this world?

I regret ever accepting that deal. If I had refused, then I will probably live a long life but it’s too late to live in regret now.

I stared at all the evidences and sent them to my mail and I posted some on net after scheduling the time it will be seen by the world.

I took all the money I have left and boarded a cab to the nearest orphanage. My plan is to give my money to the homeless and then wait for death because I know Min Ju is planning something.

After playing with the children in the orphanage for a while, I decided to return to the hotel I was staying.

When I got in, I noticed some things weren’t how I left them and I knew instantly that someone was in.

“I know Min Ju sent you so just finish up whatever you came to do, I also want to rest after all these years” I said and sat down tiredly on the couch

“Aren’t you scared of death?” the a-ssa-ssin said coming out of hiding

“No, I have no reason to be scared. At least, I’ve been able to accomplish my mission before you got here so you’re even doing me a huge favour instead” I said making him scoff

“Enough of the gibberish and boring talk. We will meet in hell” and with that, he pulled the trigger and shoot me in the heart twice.

I smiled out tears and closed my eyes in death.

Daniel’s POV

I wanted to give up on the bet because of what happened to me but I don’t think I will be doing that anymore.

I also have to win a bet even if it’s just this once. I stand a high chance of winning because Aubrey wouldn’t even be able to suspect me.

She will have pity on me considering what recently happened to me. The only problem now is that I tried to ra-pe her before, it will take a little while before she can trust me again.

I’m not going to let that discourage me. I just need to give her time, she will forgive me soon enough.

Next day

I ordered my maids to irony uniform differently today, I need to impress Aubrey.

I got down from my car and headed straight to cla-ss to drop my bag before searching for Aubrey, I have everything planned already.

“Ouch!” I gr-unted falling to the floor beside Aubrey. Nothing happened to me though, just trying to gain her attention

“Are you okay?” she asked squ-atting beside me

“I… I’m okay”

“No you’re not, let’s go to the clinic”

“I’m really fine. Just please pull my up” I said stretching out my hand to her

“Okay” she held my hand and helped me to my feet

“Thank you. You are Aubrey right?”

“Yes” she answered lowering her gaze to the floor

“I’m sorry about….. ” I was saying but she cut me off

“Please… I don’t want to talk about it” she said lowly

“Okay, I’m sorry. Can we be friends?” I asked soberly but hopefully

“No. I will head to my cla-ss now” she said and scurried away

Shit! This will be har-der than I thought but I’m ready to give it my all. I won’t give up, never!

Min Seok’s POV

I watched as Daniel and Aubrey spoke to each other. First, it was Liam, now it’s Daniel.

Is Aubrey a slut or is Liam up to something with his friends? It’s definitely one of the two but I’m not sure which it is.

I guess minding my business is the best thing to do.

“Min Seok” I heard someone call behind me. Oh no, tell me it’s not what I’m thinking

I looked behind me to see Min Ju coming towards me and I sighed inwardly. She’s probably my worst nightmare in this school

“Good morning” she greeted standing before me

“Morning” I replied with a fake boring smile on my face

“You’re not a good friend Min Seok” she said with pouted li-ps

“How?” I asked even though I knew the answer already

“You didn’t even ask after me. You know I always come to you everyday but I didn’t come for about three days and you didn’t care to look for me too”

“I’m sorry. But I see you in school everyday and I knew you were fine so I didn’t see any need for that but I’m still sorry” I said trying to put an end to the topic

“Alright. We will be having lunch together, see you” she waved at me and left.

Finally! I released the breath I didn’t know I’ve been holding, that girl is a pain in the a-ss. I have to find a way to separate myself from her.
