∆ TWO DAYS LATER ∆

“Will one of you talk cause your behaviour is begining to wear me out” Pierce said to Nicholas and Francis who both had a gloomy look on their faces.

“Well, we need your help” Francis finally spoke up.

“On what?”

“This is a bit embarra-ssing but we have no choice since they keep ignoring us” Nicholas muttered.

“Is this about Joanna and Mirabel?” Pierce asked understanding them a little and they both nodded.

“We know we did bad by being jerks to them but we are also repenting ” Nicholas said.

“Tell that to them and not me” Pierce said.

“We would if they weren’t ignoring us” Francis said showing Pierce the numerous text he sent to Joanna which she never replied to.

“If they are ignoring you what makes you think they wouldn’t ignore me and besides my suggestion for you two is that you try to take them out. You are good at preparing sudden trips Nico, so why not just do it this time around and take them out” Pierce offered.

“That will only get them more angry” Theo who had been listening by the door way spoke up even as he came into the room.

“You said you couldn’t make it” Nicholas said on seeing him.

“But am here now and Pierce suggestion will only go awry if you go ahead with it” Theo said to them.

“Then what should we do?” Nicholas asked eagerly.

“I have a plan only if you are willing to help me” Theo said looking at the three of them mischievously.

“Spill it out” Francis said.

“Well it’s about the school basketball team, we are kind of short on members and since you three don’t play professionally I didn’t want to ask but since you need my help now, it’s only right that I get help from you too” he said.

“It’s a deal then. We will help you play during your game and in exchange tell us how to get our girls back” Francis said which got Theo smiling.

“Have got a marvelous idea” Theo said.

“I expect your a-ssignment by Monday, have a nice weekend ” the teacher said even as the clas-schorused back before he left the room.

While some of the students left, Alice, Joanna and Mirabel stayed in cla-ss.

“How about going to a karaoke bar ?” Alice who have been trying to cheer up Mirabel and Joanna asked suddenly.

“Not interested ” Joanna replied slowly.

“Same here” Mirabel echoed.

“Then since Karaoke doesn’t interest you both. You wouldn’t mind going for the school basketball tournament” Theo asked as he walk towards them.

“A basketball tournament” Alice said a bit confused.

“Well it’s the annual tournament our college holds against other schools and since we are in second place, we’ve been chosen to play the final tomorrow with another college. Some students who are interested certainly will come along and you two can ” Theo said.

“That will be fun right? Let’s go” Alice said to the two girls with so much enthusiasm.

“Am sorry but I can’t…..”

“No buts! Theo we will be there tomorrow and so save a seat for us okay” Alice said cutting Joanna off abruptly.

“Will be expecting you three then, see you tomorrow” he said leaving the room.

Evelyn who had been watching them from the entrance quickly turn away when she saw Theo coming and she expected him gone when she turn back but was shocked when she saw him standing right behind her.

“You scared me!” She said moving away.

“Are you spying on them? etching another devious plan in that head of yours?” Theo asked slowly.

“Am not spying neither am I planning anything, I just…..I just wanted to apologise and warm them about some one” she said.

“Really? You aren’t really planning anything right?” He asked doubting her.

“Am not and besides why do you keep sticking your nose in my business? ” She asked.

“Cause you need someone to save you from yourself” he said which got her wondering what he meant.

Never have anyone worried about her and hearing Theo say that got her feeling flustered.

Feeling her cheeks burning, she quickly took her eyes off him while letting out a cough to clear the strange tingling she was feeling inside.

“I…I better leave ” she mouth lightly as she turned to leave only for her to sli-p and she would have fallen if it hadn’t been for Theo who caught her but then his catch wasn’t a perfect one since one of his hand was her b**bs while the other was wrapped around her waist.

Their eyes wide-ned at the same time and immediately Evelyn push his hand away.

“Am…am sorry ” Theo stammered blus-hing slightly.

“Go to hell!” Evelyn yelled at him before running off and Theo who still stood there stared at his hand while remembering how it felt on Evelyn b**bs.

NEXT DAY ROYAL COLLEGE.

“Where exactly is the bus cause I don’t…..have seen it, there’s no need coming to get me. I will be there” Joanna said into her phone before ending the call.

Quickly she join some other students in towing her over night in the booth before going into the bus.

A smile was on her face as she walk into the bus but on seeing Francis in the front role, her smile vanished.

It’s been three days after that night, she’s been ignoring his calls and texts and that’s solely because she didn’t want to talk to him but it seems like that will happen during this trip, she should have known that Theo will bring them along.

She thought as she took her eyes off of him and ignoring his greeting, she went to the back seat where Alice and Mirabel were waiting for her.

“She just ignored me right?” Francis asked his friends who were also seated by his side.

“She did ” Pierce replied going throu-ghhis phone.

“Well at least she looked your way while mine ignored me throu-ghout” Nicholas said starring at his Mirabel at the back.

“Will this really work?” Francis asked.

“You’ve got the weekend to try to win back your girls, so try thinking of ways to get them” Pierce said while the two guys began to think.

∆ROYAL COLLEGE CAMPING GROUND∆

Francis was stretching his limbs while everyone alight just as another bus with the neighbouring school arrived.

“They are the ones we will be playing with” Nicholas said as he came to join Francis.

“They don’t look that strong to me” Francis said starring at boys who got out of it.

“They might look small to you but you shouldn’t underestimate them, see that dude In between them. He is Justin, their team captain and he is freaking good” Theo commented referring to a student who was busy chatting with his friends.

Joanna and the girls got out of the car and their conversation stopped so they could stare at them.

“Wow, I never knew royal college had pretty girls” Justin voice was audible enough that it got to where Francis and his friends were.

Francis stared at Justin and hated the fact that his gaze was solely on Joanna.

“Seems like there’s gonna be competition ” Pierce murmured which got Nicholas and Francis starring at him.

“Am just saying” Pierce said before walking off.

“How dare those punks set their eyes on my girl?” Francis muttered as he turn his gaze on Justin again and he got more angry when he saw Justin still starring at Joanna.
