Irene stood from her be-d and head to the Queen’s quarter.

She knocked softly.

“Come in…” The queen responded.

As Irene entered the room, she saw some maids helping Queen Anne with her hair.

Irene bowed.

“You can all go..” Anne ordered.

The maids left except Irene.

“Come, have a seat” Queen Anne said.

Irene sat opposite the queen.

“I know you are just new here. I feel like I’m inflicting a lot of work on you”

“No my queen, I’m just doing my duties” she said.

“Ohh yes, I’m tired of all the duties” she thought.

“I wanted you to help me with something else”

“There she goes again, another duty” Irene thought again.

“Sure my queen, I can help you with anything ”

“I can’t believe I’m saying this” Irene thought again putting on a fake smile.

“I nee-d you to take care of Fredrick…the maid in charge of him is pregnant for Casper. This is the 6th maid. I know you are capable of doing this Irene. I trust you”

“Oh my gosh, so..I’m the next in line to get pregnant” Irene thought nodding her head.

“Sure my queen. But I haven’t met this prince”

“Let me take you there”

Queen Anne and Irene walked to prince Fredrick room.

They got into the room and saw prince Fredrick drinking a cu-p of milk.

He was shaking, that was his nature. But he wasn’t born like that.

“My son” queen Anne called out.

Prince Fredrick turned and saw his mother and a young lady.

“Mooomm, you arrree heeerre” he stammered.

“Same thing that happened to Dad” Irene muttered.

Queen Anne heard Irene clearly.

“What did you say?”

“My father, he had the same issue as this. But he is well now”

“What do you mean well? I’ve gone almost everywhere in this world looking for the solution to this. I didn’t find”

“My mom went to her hometown, to her mother who is a medicine woman. She deals with herbal medicine”

“Where can I find it?” Queen Anne held Irene’s shoulder and shook her.

“I… I..nee-d to call my mom first if she still have some medicine” Irene said.

Queen Anne freed Irene from her grip.

“I’m sorry… plea-se call her at once”

Irene bowed and left the room.

“Hey Mom”

“My baby…when are you coming home? Josie told me everything”

“I’ll see you this afternoon mom, I nee-d something from you”

“What is it my love?”

“The medicine that was used to cure dad”

“Oh yeah, I brou-ght a lot of em..I’m gonna sell it to make money”

“How much are you selling it? It’s nee-ded in the palace…”

Irene returned back to the room.

“It’s available my queen. But it’s for sale”

“I don’t care how much it cost. I nee-d my baby back. How much is it?…”

Irene went to pick the girls at school.

She waited beside the car a little. Then she saw Zoe and Wren running together.

“I should be a life coach” she thought smiling to herself.

Then the girls ran and hvg Irene.

“I’m so happy that you girls are close”

“I’m more happier…” Wren said.

“I’m more happiest” Zoe said.

“Don’t say that…it’s an error..” Irene said jokingly.

Then the girls laughed.

As they drove to the house, Irene decided to tell Zoe the good news.

“Zoe?”

“Yes big sis”

“Mom and dad is back” Irene said.

Zoe st©pped what she was doing.

“Dad’s back?” She was looking sad.

“Calm down Zoe, he is all better now”

“I’ll believe it when I see it..” Zoe muttered and continue pla-ying with Wren.

When they got to the house, Irene and Zoe c@m£ down from the car.

“Wren wait in the car. We will be back soon”

“Can I come with you?… plea-se”

“Fine, come with us”

Zoe and Wren jumped into the house.

“Mommmm…” Irene and Wren went to hvg their mother.

“Ohh my pretty damsels…I missed you girls so much” she muttered.

“Miss you more mom” Irene said.

“I’ll be back with Mom, you girls stay right there” Irene said and went to the room.

“Dad?”

“Irene..Irene my princess” her father stood from the be-d and hvgged Irene.

“Ohh my, you look so big now” her father muttered.

“Yes Dad, I don’t have much time..I’ll see you later” Irene said and pu-ll-ed her mother to one corner.

“Mom, get re-ady to be rich. The queen gave me 50 million to buy all of the medicine”

Her mother eyes wi-de-ned.
“50…!!!”

“Shhh, mom..don’t make a noise. Give me the drug and tell me how to take it. Here is the cheque”

Her mother collected the cheque.

“You made me proud today”

“Ohh, come on Mom. I nee-d to hurry”

Irene’s mother gave Irene the medicine and told her the dosage and how to prepare it.

Wren and Irene drove to the palace.

“I wish I could have stayed there a little longer. I have to do my homework and sleep all throu-gh the day” Wren muttered looking sad.

“You can tell your mother than you want Zoe around”

“What??? I’m gonna do that. I don’t know If she would allow that”

“Try you best princess” Irene muttered.

“I love you Irene. You are like a sister to me” Wren said as they both walked into the palace hall.

The guards carried a box of medicine behind them.

“You can keep it there” Irene pointed to the kitchen.

“Let’s go Wren, you should take a bath”

After Wren had her bath, she ate and did her homework and of course, dozed off.

Irene went to the kitchen and ordered all the maids out of the kitchen.

She couldn’t trust anyone. No one would one the young prince well, so as not to compete with them for the throne. Especially the princes.

Irene boiled the medicine and sieved the jui-ce out of it.

She added tumeric powder and a little bit of lime.

Finally, she added ginger water and poured it into a cu-p.

She entered into prince Fredrick room and saw the queen with him.

“Here my prince. Drink it all”

“Ittt smmeells nniccee” he stammered.

“But it’s bitter and h0t. Be careful”

Prince Frederick stared at his mother.

“Drink it my love”

Prince Fredrick silently counted one, two three…

He gulped it down.

“Nice ” Irene collected the cu-p from him.

Very soon, the effect of the medicine started.

The prince started to shiver and a white foam was coming from his mouth.
