Irene stood outside sweating profusely.

Then prince Tony walked pas-sed her holding a novel.
“Why are you standing there?” He asked.

“Good day my prince, I..I…”
She stammered.

Then prince Garrett c@m£ out of the room.

Irene shook with fear.sje took the mop stick and the bucket. Then she kept it back….she was really confused and frustrated.

“Are you gonna come in or what?” Prince Garrett asked coldly.

“Bye my prince” Irene said to Prince Tony.

“Hmmm” he muttered and left.

.
Irene entered the room and was avoiding eye contact with prince Garrett.

“So….”

“I apologise my prince, plea-se I don’t want to lose this job. I beg you. I didn’t mean to see your..your..”

“My what?” Prince Garrett asked.

“Hmmm??” Irene asked as if she didn’t say anything.

“Whatever, I wanted to tell you to wash the toilet. It seems dirty ma-king the floor sli-ppy” prince Garrett said to Irene.
“Yes my prince”

Irene said and left for the bathroom.

“Be careful, the tap is… She didn’t hear me”

Irene got into the bathroom and saw how fancy it is.

80% of the bathroom was made of gold while the remaining was white.

Irene stared cleaning the floor then the sink. After she cleaned the toilet and was cleaning the bath tub.

“How can a man have a tube in his bathroom? Instead of a shower or…”

She didn’t know when he leg broke the tap. She continued cleaning the the other side of the bathroom, where he kept his towels and toothbrush.

She looked un-der the sink and saw how dirty it was.

As she gr@bb£d the mop stick, then ending p@rt hit the soap bar which poured all over the floor.

Unknown to her, she cleaned the floor and went back to the tub.

As she walked to the tub, the soap made her sli-p.

Then she fell into the tub that was alre-ady filled with water.
She screamed…

Prince Garrett heard her scream..

He ran into the bathroom and saw her into the tub.

Without thinking twice he ran to help her.

The soap also made him sli-p.
He fell into the tub and on Irene.

They both sat up staring at each other.

“I’m sorry my prince, I didn’t…”
“You are always sorry…the tap was broken…see”
Irene stared at the tap and lower her gaze.

Garrett felt like he said something wrong.

“It’s okay. I didn’t tell the butler about it. It should have been fixed. Let’s go” he said and they both got out of the tub”
“You are we-t, you should dry yourself” prince Garrett said and threw a towel to her.
As she dried her hair, prince Garrett stared at her.

“Pretty” he muttered.

Irene sh0t him a glare.

“What did you say?” Irene asked.

“Nothing..”
He said and left the bathroom.

Irene finished cleaning the rooms and she returned to her room only to meet 6 missed calls from her sister.

“Hello” Irene said.

“Dad’s back!!! He is well. He is no longer mentally unstable. The medicine mom brou-ght from her hometown worked” Josie said from the end…

Irene closes her mouth in surprise.

She was very happy that her father was back.

“Really??” Irene asked.
“I just got home and I met them at home. Dad was the one that even opened the door for me” Josie said. In her voice, you could know she was shedding tears.

Tears of joy…

“That’s nice Josie, once I drop Zoe at home, I’ll see them”
“Okay”
Irene disconnected the call.

Then a maid entered her room.
“I’m sorry for barging in. The queen wants to see you”
“Okay…I’ll be there soon” Irene said to the maid and she left.

“Why does she want to see me? Did prince Garrett report me to his mother?” Irene thought.
