Jayden sighed, unrelaxingly and kept his phone away.

“What does she want? Is she back or what?” He thought.

? Wow. She’s pretty.

? Who’s she?

? Isn’t that Natalie?? Is she back in WSU???

Jayden looked straight with wide-ned eyes. Natalie was in front close to the lecturer.

“Gosh. She’s really back. I thought those were groundless rumors” Desmond said, and glanced at Jayden who was staring ha-rd at her.

“Her beauty never for once faded” Clark said, and Desmond pinched him.

“Ouch” Clark groa-ned.

“Ssh…Must you talk” Desmond glared.

Clark rolled his eyes.

“Who are you?” The lecturer asked.

“Are you a student in my cla-ss cause I know my students are all aware of my rules. No late coming during my lecture hours” The lecturer said.

Natalie adjusted the hand of her satchel bag and gave a small smile.

“Actually, I use to school here before I left Washington to Beijing” Natalie explained.

“Oh! Natalie Wavers??” He asked.

“You remember? I’m glad”

“I guess you’ve resumed the last and final semester with us?”

“As you can see” Natalie laughed, lowly.

“Go have your seat”

“Thank you Mr Walker”

“Actually, I’m Mr Timmy. I guess you’ve forgotten my name. I never forgot yours” He teased.

“I’m sorry. I don’t really remember most of y’all here. Please, don’t feel bad”

“Nah…Its fine. 3 years is crazy” He rolled his eyes.

Natalie smiled with a nod and walked to the chairs. People were staring and murmuring.

Natalie looked at Jayden’s side but he wasn’t facing her now. His eyes were still fixed on the board.

“Who’s she?” Maureen murmured.

“I don’t know” Whitney shrugged her shoulders.

“Do you?” Whitney asked Jade.

“Huh…Yeah. She use to date Jayden years back. During our first year though. Before, she ended things with him and migrated to some country”

“Oh…” Whitney and Maureen murmured and nodded.

“Who’s the guy? This Jayden?” Maureen asked.

“Over there. He’s that handsome cute- Jade paused and looked at Whitney who was staring at her suspiciously.

Jade cleared her throat, nervously.

“I mean,,, He’s that guy there. The…the handsome one” She pointed. written by sommy pearl f.

“Wow. He is really handsome” Maureen smiled, already day dreaming and crushing.

“Hey. You better not fall for him” Whitney snarled.

“Too late” Maureen smiled.

“Gosh. He’s so cute. Who gave birth to that dude? What if the cops sue him for killing me with his looks?”

“What’s with the cheesy lines? Damn” Whitney frowned.

“Please tell her…cla-ss is going on” Jade said, rolling her eyes.

“I also love his earrings. Look at how the cresent on it sparkles” Maureen smiled.

“What?” Whitney and Jade said, in unison.

“Huh? What’s it?” Maureen murmured.

Whitney and Jade exchanged glances and smi-rked at each other.

“The guy whom you’re crushing on isn’t Jayden” Jade shook her head.

“You got it all wrong. Jayden isn’t putting on earrings” Whitney’s sm-irk didn’t leave her face.

Maureen swallowed ha-rd and looked at the handsome guy again.

“Then…Fu-ck. Whos this handsome guy?? I’m falling ha-rd for this one” Maureen lic-ked her dry lower li-p.

“Clark” Whitney and Jade answered, together.

“What? Clark? Wow. Clark. Its nice to meet you” She mumbled.

Jade shook her head, smiling.

“Girls will be girls” Whitney raised her brows.

“Jayden??” Natalie called, immediately cla-ss ended.

Jayden stopped and looked back to see Natalie staring at him.

She sighed de-eperly and walked closer.

“Jayden? If you don’t mind. Can we talk?” She asked.

“What do you wanna talk about?” He asked, rashly.

“I can’t say it here. Why not let us talk in private?” She suggested.

By now, people were already murmuring and staring.

Jayden scoffed.

“The last time you to talked to me ended in tears. I vividly remember you, asking us to break up. Without remorse and without a single goodbye, you left…just like that”

Natalie sighed.

“I had no choice. My…dad was in danger”

“What?” Clark muttered and walked forward.

Natalie looked at him.

“I was talking to you, was I?”

Clark sighed with a nod and took few steps back.

“Guys, Let’s go” Whitney said angrily and pulled her two friends who were also staring at them.

Whitney managed to successfully take them away from the scene.

“Wait? What did you just say? Your father? In…in danger?” Jayden asked.

She nodded.

Jayden sighed de-eperly.
“Okay then. Let’s talk”

“Thanks. I’ll keep it brief” Natalie said, and the two left sight.

Desmond sighed and looked at Clark who was engrossed in his thoughts, and his eyes staring immersely at Natalie who was leaving with Jayden.

“Hey? Dude?” Desmond called him but Clark’s mind was far away from the planet earth. Must have gone to mars or something?

“What’s his problem? Desmond thought and waved his fingers across Clark’s face.

Yet, he didn’t even budge. Even his eyes refused to blink.

“Hey! Clark!!!” Desmond shouted and tapped his shoulder.

Clark eyes blinked and he came back from his far away thoughts.

“Damn! Dude…What were you thinking about!?” Desmond asked.

“Huh? Nothing” Clark shook his head.

“Let’s go to the school canteen. I’m starving” Desmond said, holding his shoulders. written by sommy pearl f.
