∆ KARAOKE BAR ∆

“It’s time to………….party!” Alice said holding a mic while dancing to a music being played off throu-ghthe speakers.

“This is crazy! Where on earth did you get the money to book a whole Karaoke room?” Joanna asked.

“My savings” Alice said using the mic.

“But you can’t spend your savings in this manner and besides you….”

“Enough mom. Money is meant to be spent no matter how long you save it , it will still be spent and so have decided to spend my money on this. So stop worrying and just have fun? What do you think Mirabel?” Alice ask starring at Mirabel.

“Well I think Joanna is……wrong! You are definitely right Alice, money is meant to be spent….so let’s have a lot of fun today” Mirabel said.

“I think am beginning to love you” Alice said bumping her fist with Mirabel.

“Let’s have fun today Joanna, we’ve been stuck in Clas-sand Library for the past three days” Mirabel said and after thinking about it, Joanna finally agreed.

A Justin Bieber song began to play and the three of them pick up their mic, singing and dancing to it.

Joanna and Mirabel were so caught up in the fun that they didn’t notice Francis, Nicholas and Pierce who stood at the doorway starring at them.

“Seems like we have a guest” Alice said with the mic which got the two girls starring at the door way.

“Having fun without us?” Francis asked moving towards Joanna.

“Well I….” She paused when he took hold of her hand and led her to the seat.

Mirabel who had also gone quiet after seeing Nicholas was led to the seat by him while Pierce went to take his seat.

“So apart from knowing this Jerk! This is my first time meeting you two, though have been told a lot of stories about you” Alice said to Francis while referring to Pierce as the jerk.

“Well am Alice, Joanna’s cousin” Alice said introducing herself.

“And am Nicholas”

“Francis”

“He sure is handsome” Alice said giving Joanna a wink.

Just then two waiter came into the room with a tray loaded with foods and drinks.

“I didn’t order that, you must be mistaken” Alice said

“I did. What’s the essence of having fun without eating some thing ” Nicholas replied tightening his hold on Mirabel hand when she tried to pull away.

“Am glad we have the same mind set, you and I are surely gonna be best of friends ” Alice said bumping her fist with Nicholas before going back to sing while Pierce thought her crazy.

∆ BUS STATION ∆

While waiting for the bus to arrive, Jocelyn stared at the recent picture of Nicholas on Instagram.

They were all having fun at a karaoke bar and didn’t even bother to invite her.

“Cruel people” she muttered.

Well they have every right not to call her since she behaved badly with every one of them.

Francis ignored her, Pierce wouldn’t pick her call and Nicholas was just busy with his own thing and there is Joanna.

Remembering the warm way Joanna had welcome her while she only had bad intentions towards her made her feel guilty.

Sighing gently, she look up to see a guy starring at her.

Another stupid admirer, she thought as she stood up to leave before he approach her but her move was cut short when he got to her.

“Hello, I would….”,

“I don’t give out my number” Jocelyn said.

“What?” Kylie ask startled by her reply.

“And besides you don’t approach a girl like that, you look lame” Jocelyn added before walking off leaving Kylie dumb founded.

“I was only gonna ask for Direction” he muttered.

After Alice left home, he felt bored too and came out in search of her and Joanna but then he got lost and decided to ask for Direction from her only to…..

“She’s a total psycho, a complete one” He said before going throu-ghthe other route.

∆ KARAOKE BAR ∆

“Don’t you have some thing to say to me?” Francis asked starring at Joanna who sat primly at his side.

“No, do you?” She asked.

“Really? I told you that being apart from you is like taking away a part of me and while I missed you like crazy for the past three days, you didn’t even bother to call me” He said softly which earned him a smile from Joanna.

“Don’t try to get out of it by smiling beautifully like that” He added.

“I missed you, I really did but with the busy schedule and all, I just didn’t have the chance to call you” Joanna said which some how soothe his anger.

“Please don’t be angry, I was gonna come visit you at the apartment to make up for the past three days” she added when he said nothing.

“Then let’s go now” he said wanting to get up but she pulled him back.

“We can’t leave” she said softly.

“Why? I wanna kis-s you” he whispered earning a chuckle from her.

“And I want to do the same but we will have to wait” she said to him.

“Fine then, only one more hour and then we are out of here” Francis said taking hold of her hand under the table.

“Spill it, just what is wrong? Why have you been avoiding me?” Nicholas asked Mirabel who has been quiet.

“Nothing” she answered remembering what Jessica told her.

“Stop lying to me, I know some thing is bothering you and I hope you can open up and tell me about it” He said.

“Who are these?” Alice who had been singing said just as Theo walk into the bar with Linda, Jessica and Evelyn.

“Hello Everyone” Theo greeted in excitement.

And while Linda and Evelyn had their gaze on Joanna and Francis, Jessica was starring at Nicholas and Mirabel.

” It’s best you ask her about it” Mirabel said referring to Jessica even as she succeed in pulling her hand out of Nicholas hold.
