” Nardo’s stepbrother ” he said and I raised my eyebrows.

” Delagdo ” I muttered under my breath.

” You are Leon’s stepbrother ? I didn’t know he has a Brother . I’m his ..” I trailed .

” Woman ” Someone said behind me and I didn’t need anyone to tell me who that person was .

I could recognize that voice even in my sleep .

” Hey treasure I didn’t know you had a brother ” I said and he didn’t say a word .

His well ironed Armani suit fitted him perfectly making him every bit of the Greek god he was .

His blue eyes met mine as his hand went around my waist .

I froze as his lips met my neck then my forehead .

Erduardo smirked as he tucked both hands on his pocket .

” Buenas tardes harmano { goodevning brother } he said something in Spanish and Leon stared at him .

” Erduardo ..” he trailed off in warning and I stared from him to his brother Wondering what they where talking about .

” ella es una hermosa{ she’s a beautiful one } Erduardo said staring at me then his brother .

“te mato si la tocas { I will kill you if you touch her } Leon said and I stood Wondering what they where talking about ,they’re both so calm .

Calmate{ calm down} he said taking two steps backwards as he raised both hands in surrender.

” ella esta fuera de los limites{ she is off limits } .

” El Padre la aprueba ? { Does father approve }

” If you will escuse us Erduardo the Celebrant is right there ” leon said calmly as he gestured towards the direction of his mom .

” I’ll just go greet Madre then , nice to see you chica ” he said and I smiled.

” You too Edward ” I said with a chuckle as he bowed then walked away.

Leon pulled on his tie and tucked both hands on his pocket and didn’t even spare a glance in my direction.

” What are you wearing ? He asked and u smiled .

” A dress , Scarlett bought it ” I said and he muttered something under his breath .

” Your whole back is on display ,what did we say about covering up ? He asked dangerously close to me .

” Huh ? ” I asked.

” Stay away from Erduardo ” he whispered against my lips as he leaned close .

I raised my eyebrows in questioning.

” Why ? He seems like a nice person ” I muttered under my breath.

” Go to him then since you find him nice ” he snapped and I froze .

Where did that come from ? Why is he suddenly angry .

Erduardo is his brother ,they both share a father or mother ,I don’t know .

Why should I be in the middle of their feud .

I rubbed my arms in annoyance and his hold on my waist became possessive as he removed his blazers and placed it on my shoulders .

” Leon I’m not cold ” I said and when he didn’t say a word ,I knew better than to try and argue with him .

The man gets angry for the slightest reasons but he’s not an arrogant person .

What did I do wrong ?

We moved over to where his mom stood with some guests .

” Here they come ,this is my beautiful daughter in-law to be …’ she introduced me to her friends who gushed about me in excitement.

” She is a preety girl Leon ,tall and attractive ” one of them said touching my hair .

” After Layla I was beginning to think the guy will never move on ” one of them said and he excused us .

Layla ?

Who the hell is Layla ? Is that the name of his ex .

Did he love her that much not to have moved on for years .

” I’m sure he loves Imani ,they make a lovely couple” his mom said changing the topic.

” Make sure you guys get married soon okay dear , all these men like to delay these things .

” He is already a successful man ” the women chattered on and on and I had to force smiles to keep up .

I was able to excuse myself and I went straight to Leon who was standing with two other guys.

One whom I recognize as Pierre immediately I saw them and the other one looked Greek with his curly hair and skin tone .

” Here comes my hot chilli pepper ! ” Pierre called dramatically.

” Hot chilli pepper ? Really Pierre” I said with a chuckle.

” Any other nickname and your boyfriend will kill me ,he has his blazer on your shoulders ,talk about a possessive beast ” he said shaking his head .

” What did you do to Leon ,he has been so quiet “Pierre asked .

” Nothing ,I don’t know what your friend’s problem is exactly because he’s not my father ” I said before I could stop myself .

That’s it my anger has always been my weakness and it’s one thing I’m trying my best to control which has not been successful as of yet .
