The ride to his place was quiet ,I mean he didn’t try to talk to me and I didn’t want to talk to him either .

We arrived at his Estate and my jaws literally dropped from how elegant and luxurious it looked from the outside .

The driver drove into the estate and I noticed servants walking around in smart uniforms .

There was a fountain in the middle ,of a woman carrying a baby .

It looked so artistic and beautiful .

” Welcome to my humble abode ” he said extending his hand in my direction.

I placed my hand on his as my heart beat rapidly against my chest .

His other hand snaked around my waist as we walked in together.

” Welcome Boss ”

” Good Afternoon Mr Delgado ” The workers greeted and some looked really shocked to see him with a woman .

” Good evening madam ” They greeted and I answered still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I was being called madam by people that worked for this man.

We never had workers to do our homeshores . Even when I was way younger mom preferred doing the chores herself .

Then Zuri assisted her and when I came of age I joined them .

That didn’t mean Omari was exempted from the house hold chores ,mom believed in gender equality .

At twelve I could already cook every food we ate at home ,both nigerian and South African dishes .

You can’t be in my mother’s house and not know how to cook ,wash and keep the house clean .

My ma wouldn’t hear of it . She believed a girl child should be a good homemaker and that has helped Zuri and I up to this day .

” Nardo. ..Dear ” I heard an older lady’s voice as she strolled towards us with a big welcoming smile on her face .

Her hair was tied in a neat bun and her white uniform complimented her skin .

She was short and chubby yet so gentle .

” Nanny Fair ” He said with respect as he hugged her .

” Good afternoon ma’am ” I said and she gasped in suprise as she looked from Leon to me then to him again .

” You must be his girlfriend Imani ,I’ve heard a lot about you from his mother . ” She said excitedly.

” Mom told you ? Leon asked suprised.

” Of cause Nardo ,but she didn’t say anything about you guys coming today ,I could have made arrangements ” she complained .

” Oh it’s okay ” I said with a smile and my heart skipped a beat again when I felt his hand snake around my waist again .

” She’s so beautiful Nardo ” she cooed pulling me in a hug .

” You guys must be so tired considering the fact that it’s a long flight ,so come on go freshen up I’ll make preparations for dinner” she said and he stared at me .

” Let me show you around mi Reina ” he said and I blushed red.

I’m still trying to get used to this man and his use of endearment.

” You guys must be so close ” I said before I could stop myself.

” Who ? He asked .

” Ma’am fair ” I answered softly.

” Yeah she watched Scar and I grow up after loosing her family ,she’s my mother’s friend ” he explained.

” That must have been so heartbreaking for her ‘ i said sadly ,my heart went out to the gentle old woman .

” She didn’t let that pull her down though ,she is still the happiest old woman I know ” he explained and I gave a nod .

He led me into a room and I gasped at the interior .

This was nothing compared to his room in cape town .

Everything was different and even the bed size ,his table and the whole room screamed.

Posh ,class ,luxury.

” What would you like to drink ? He asked softly .

” Nothing” I said as I hugged myself close .

” Make yourself comfortable around me Imani ,I don’t bite ” he said staring into my eyes and I could literally hear my heart pounding against my chest .

” Huh….huh? I trailed.

” Look at me Quirida {my dear } ” he said taking slow strides towards me .

I raised my eyes as our gaze met intimately.

” You’re so shy I can see your inexperience , I can persive it from a distance si ? He asked with his Spanish accent .

” Hmmmnn ? I asked cluelessly.

” You are inexperienced ” he said and I frowned .

” I’m not inexperienced” I muttered under my breath.

” Why does it feel like you are not familiar with being in the same room with a man ? He asked and I opened and closed my mouth like a fish .

” I suggest you let me go to my room now Leonardo ‘ I said my cheeks heating up.

” Your room ? He asked amusement dripping off each word .

” Yes my room ” I said again and he pinched the bridge of his nose .

” We are not gonna be sleeping in different rooms mi Reina ,we are supposed to be in a serious intimate relationship , What kind of person will be to let you sleep in a different room ? He asked and I stared at him .

” We are supposed to sleep in the same room… ? I asked my voice shaking at the edge.

” On the same bed , that shouldn’t be a problem now considering the fact that we will be kissing ” he said and I swallowed down saliva which went down on the wrong pipe and I began to cough .

” Kissing ? Like when a guy joins his lips with a girl’s …? I trailed off in question.

” If you want to involve the sucking bitting ..” he trailed .

” Sweet baby Jesus ! I screamed in horror .

” Is everything okay miss lerato ? He asked .

” I believe you read the contract before signing ? He asked.

” You said there will be no sex ! I said almost yelling.

” Agreed ,but it is stated in the contract that there will be a lot of public display of affection ”

” My mother is a hopeless romantic and we are supposed to convince the woman that we can’t keep our hands Away from each other ,but here you are freaking out already” he said and I turned .

” I need to use the restroom” I said and be gestured towards the restroom.

Immediately I got in and shut the door ,I realesed the breath I didn’t know I was holding.

Kissing ” I muttered under my breath and my body went hot immediately.

How am I supposed to switch off my Emotions and start playing kissy kissy with a man like Leon 😭

This is not good ,this is so not good .

I think I’m going to pass out even from thinking of it .

All this man needs to do is talk to me and I’m a mess the tension and nervousness ,I walk around with my heart on my throat .

And now we will be kissing ? This won’t end well at all .

” Are you okay Imani ? I heard his velvety voice and blushed red .

” I’m fine treasure” I said and cursed under my breath.

Treasure ? Seriously ? Where did that come from .

🌿LEONARDO🌿

She freaked out ,she fvcking freaked out on me the moment I talked about intimacy .

How old is this girl again ? I thought in amusement.

I sat down on my bed and my phone rang .

Staring at the Caller ID,my mood turned soar immediately .

” Hello Padre ” I said and he scoffed.

” Leonardo ! ” He said angrily.

” I have heard from my sources that you are in the city ” he said angrily.

” I just arrived Padre ” I said not interested in the conversation.

“We talked about you meeting up with someone ,What are your plans towards that ? He asked and I bit my lower lip.

” I just arrived Costa Rica Padre ,you should let me breath ” I said and he went on and on about my incompetence before cutting the call on me .

Talk about an arrogant old man .

As I scrolled through my phone the door of the bathroom opened and imani walked out .

” I heard you yelling is everything okay ? She asked and I gave a nod .

” Yes everything is alright” I said and turned .

” Oh okay” she muttered under her breath and I noticed her unpacking her stuffs .

” I’ll see you downstairs for dinner ” I walked out of the room and my phone rang again this time it was from Pierre.

” Hey Bro you got into town and I hear the news from the tabloids ? Now I know how Jesus filled when Judas betrayed him ! ” He said dramatically.

” I told you I will be in town for mom’s birthday celebration” I said and he gasped .

” Yes but Immediately you arrived with that fake girlfriend of yours you forgot I existed . Me your first love ” he cried dramatically.

” Pierre I don’t have time for your drama ” I said tiredly.

” My heart is broken ,all these because I don’t have butts and b**bs ? He asked and I pinched my nose to stop myself from laughing.

” How is she doing ? He asked and I sighed .

” I don’t know man ”

” What do you mean you don’t know ? Is that how you are supposed to treat your woman ” he asked .

” She’s not my woman ,besides you are single so stop sounding like a married Older brother ” i said frowning.

” I’m single by choice ,you have a fake girlfriend” he said laughing.

” Why did I take your advice again ? I asked sacarstically.

” Because you realized I give the best advice in town ” he said and I can imagine the pride on his face .

” I can see you are enjoying the company of your fake girlfriend ” he teased .

” She is so innocent ,it scares me ” I said rubbing my forehead.

” Scared you will rip her apart or what ? He asked teasingly.

” I’m not going to go down that part with Imani” I said immediately.

” Keep saying that till it sinks in ,we both know how wild you are ,deep down that’s what you are worried about ” he said laughing.

” The girl freaked out at the thought of us kissing” I said and it made things worse .

” You are an attractive man ,a girl should be scared for her heart ,I think I want to meet this girl ” he said excitedly.

” The girl doesn’t want to meet you Pierre.

” Allow her to be the judge of that ” he said and I rolled my house .

” The time is ticking man it won’t be long before you bend her on all fours ” he said and I pinched the bridge of my nose again .

” That’s not going to happen what we have is strictly proffessional.”

” She’s here for business , feelings can’t get involved ! ” I said seriously.

” I still have the holy water just in case you change your mind ” he said and laughed.

” I hate you ” I muttered under my breath as I chuckled.
