he took a sip from it and looked at her .

“sir the employees are in the meeting room” she said

“yes sir they are and they want to welcome you warmly” she replied with a smile .

he stood up and walked passed her and then turned around.

“are you the boss now ? aren’t you supposed to be among the employees?” he asked.

“f*ck You” she muttered angrily and followed him .

“good morning sir ” they stood up and bow

“like y’all know . I’m the new CEO . my dad won’t be coming to the company anymore” he said and looked at them

“what funny?” he asked the girl who couldn’t stop smiling.

“nothing sir ” she replied.

“like I said, he won’t be coming here again and you must remember I’m nothing like my dad .

I’m different from him . there will be new rules and yeah don’t smile when I’m talking. she will print the rules out later ” he replied

“anyone who fails to follow the rules will be out of the company immediately” he said and left .

“sir this are some files I was working on yesterday” she said and handed the files to him .

“sir you called me ” she replied when she got in .

“yeah . work on this files when you get home” he said handling her the files .

“sir I’m really tired and I’m really sorry I won’t be able to do it at home”she replied.

“why are you pregnant? he asked

“no I’m not!!!!! she yelled

“it’s either you take them home or you can do it here now ” he said

“sir I really have something to do . the employees are all at home right now ” she said getting annoyed.

“you know dad told me a lot of things about you, but I guess he was wrong” he said and stood up .

“I promise sir I will be here as early as I can to work on them ” she said

“okay ” he replied and sat back down

“finally” Daisy muttered and sigh .

“you can go home ” he said

“what about you sir ?” she asked

“I still have a lot of work to do . I hate doing my things halfway” he replied and focused on the computer.

“bye sir . have a wonderful day ” Daisy said excitedly and ran out .

she checked her wrist watch and it’s was 6:15pm .

“sh*t Ariel is gonna ask a lot of questions” she said and took her back before leaving the office.

Daisy came out of the shower,wore her nighties .

“all thanks to him I had a bad day . my legs hurt” she said and laid down.

“he better be careful not to step on my toes”she thought.

she was interrupted by the sound from her phone .

📱”good even sir”she greeted after answering the phone.

📱”how are you and how is Ariel?” Mr Arthur asked

📱”we’re fine sir, thanks” she replied.

📱”how was what ?* she asked confusedly.

📱”his first day at work ” he replied.

📱” sir I’m not gonna lie to you , but it’s was stressful, he didn’t even give us a break” she replied

“I’m so tired ” she replied and went to Ariel’s room.

after making sure that she was asleep,she went back to her room .

“I don’t wanna continue having a stressful day like this. wtf ” she groaned and closed her eyes .

she drift off to sleep just few minutes of closing her eyes, that could tell how tired she was.

Daisy left for work as early as she could the next day , only to meet him already at work.

she sat down and started working without hesitation.

“why is the telephone ringing?” she thought.

he came out when she didn’t answer the telephone .

“ahh!!! ” She dreamed when she saw him .

“fool , I need a cup of coffee” he said and went back to his office.

“did he came here on time just to torture me like yesterday?” she thought.

she knocked and he gesture her to come in .

“sir you came so early was it that you did your work halfway?” she asked

“you’re late ” he said and looked at her .

“no I’m not , it’s 6:35 am !!!!! she yelled.

“nice . you’re the new boss , come have a sit here ” he said and stood up.

“no that’s not what I met sir . it’s just that office hours start from 8 and not 6 : 30 am ” she replied

“you have to come take a seat and tell me what to do ” he said .

he walked close to her and gripped her neck .

the employees began to come in one after the other and soon they all started working for the day .

Daisy walked into the office gently and he looked at her with a questioning look.

“they are having some issue with their company and had to cancel it ” she said

“they promise to reschedule it as soon as they resolve it ” she replied.

“I know about that . if that’s all then leave ” he said .
