she met him laid down peacefully. she place Ariel on the bed close to his and sat down .

his parents walked in and Mrs Arthur quickly rushed to his side too .

“you shouldn’t wake him up ” Mr Arthur said .

“I’m just worried” she replied and looked at Daisy.

Daisy looked away nervously and held Damon’s hand .

“who are you to him ?” she asked and Daisy looked up .

“huh??

“who are you to him ?” she asked again.

“umm…I’m…I’m..his …. secretary..yes I’m his secretary” Daisy stuttered.

“why were you stuttering?” she asked

“that’s enough, you ask too much questions, just sit down ” Mr Arthur said and she glared at him.

they all were there looking at him , just waiting for him to wake up .

after staying there for 2hours Daisy looked at his parents.

“I will stay with him , why don’t you two go home, it’s getting late ” Daisy muttered.

“I want to stay here with him , you can go ” Mrs Arthur replied.

“I will stay here till you wake up , I’m not leaving your side ” she muttered enough for his parents to hear .

she kept rubbing his hand quietly while staring at him .

she fell asleep still holding his hands .

Damon opened his eyes slowly and looked around, noticing he was in the hospital the first thing that came to his mind was Daisy and Ariel.

“Ariel.. Daisy” he muttered trying to stand up .

“you’re awake ” Mr Arthur exclamed which woke Daisy up .

his parents rushed to him immediately.

“you’re awake” Daisy said excitedly and he turned to her .

he sat up not minding the pains he was feeling and pulled her into a hug .

“I thought I’m never gonna see you again” he said .

“I’m sorry” Daisy said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Ariel… where’s Ariel?” he asked and Daisy pointed at the sleeping Ariel.

“are you okay ? , did you get hurt ? ,did he do anything stupid?” he asked rushing his words .

“no he didn’t…thank you ” she said and hugged him again.

“are we invisible now ?” his mom asked and he looked at her .

“what are you doing here Mom?” he asked and exchange glance with Daisy.

“what ? really ? do you know how worried I was ”

“I’m sorry ….dad ” he called and Mr Arthur gave a smile .

“I’m fine …you don’t have to be worried” he said .

mr Arthur nodded with a smile . he was scared for his life but he just didn’t want to show it for the sake of his wife .

“I’m happy you’re okay …what Happened…why did you take a bullet for someone else’s child ?” his mom asked .

“mom let’s not talk about it now ….my back hurts” he muttered and Daisy helped him lay back down.

“are you sure you’re just his secretary??” she asked suspiciously.

“who said she’s my secretary? ” Damon immediately asked looking at them .

“she did ” Mrs Arthur replied.

“she’s also my girlfriend and we have a ….” he immediately stopped and looked at Daisy.

“I knew it ” Mr Arthur muttered and his wife immediately looked at him .

“you know ? what about Isabella?” she asked .

“mum I’m gonna tell you everything, but right now just stop asking questions” he groaned.

“you know about it ? ” Daisy asked .

“the thing is …I ..

“I’m such a fool …I’m foolish and stupid at the same time” she said and moved away from him slowly.

“you should take a rest Damon” Mr Arthur quickly said and Daisy wiped the tears in her eyes .

“go home and take a proper rest okay ” Damon said .

“I will stay here with you ” Daisy replied.

“you can’t, Ariel need to eat and take a shower , I will be fine okay ” he said .

she stare at him not saying anything and then look away .

“we will talk about it tomorrow okay . go home I will be fine I promise” he said and she nodded.

he looked at her and the the sleeping Ariel and smiled widely like he just won a lottery

“I love you ” he said .

“Are will get you something to eat you must e Hungry” she said ignoring his words .

“I will do that “. Mrs Arthur said and she nodded

“I love you sweetheart” he said again, still she ignored him .

he held her hand , but she avoid eye contact with him .

Daisy covered him properly without saying a word and then walk over where Ariel was sleeping and Carried her up .

“I will be here tomorrow” she said and walked out. .

“she was crying few minutes ago and when you woke up she’s mad at you …what kind of a girl is that ”

“mom stop ….just get me the food I’m hungry” Damon said.

” I Will” she replied and left .

” where’s Leo?” damon asked looking around.

” suffering from heartbreak” Mr Arthur replied and he chuckled.

” how did you know ? ” he asked

“I just guessed” Mr Arthur replied and laughed.

“you said something about I knew it ” Damon said looking at him .

“I know you won’t be able to resist her when you see her ..so made her promise not to leave the company, even when you show your Stinky attitude” Mr Arthur replied.

“dad really?”Damon asked and he nodded .

“wow ” he muttered and smile .

“I have a child” Damon said and Mr Arthur looked at him

“what do you by you have a child?” Mr Arthur asked .

“Daisy’s daughter is mine ” he replied

“how ?” Mr Arthur asked .

Damon explained everything to him .

“you brat how can you get a girl pregnant and didn’t bother looking for her” Mr Arthur said .

” it was just a night stand and besides before I woke up, she left” he replied.

Mrs Arthur came in with fast food and they quickly stopped talking.

“what were you two talking about?” she asked .

Damon exchange glance with his dad and Mr Arthur nodded.

” about my child” Damon replied as his mom helped him up .

she arrange the food on the board made for patients to eat while sitting on the bed .

“what child ?” she asked .

Mr Arthur explained to her while Damon was eating.

“aigooo …how can I treat my daughter in law like that ” she said sadly.

“I will apologize as soon as I see her tomorrow….wait is that why you took a bullet for her?” she asked and he nodded.

“you’re such a cute dad ….how can my little baby be a father so soon ” she said and pouted.

“mom I’m 27 and will 28 soon ” he replied.

“if when you’re 50 .. you’re still gonna be my little baby” she replied serving him more food .

“I’m full ” he said .

they talked and laughed for something ,even though Damon always feel pain whenever he laughed , he make sure he didn’t express it so his parents won’t be worried.

“I will be here as early as possible tomorrow ” Mrs Arthur said and kissed his head .

“bye dad ” Damon said .

they left leaving him there . he smiled happily. now that’s his parents are aware he’s just gonna ask for her forgiveness when she comes tomorrow.
