The Female Soldier, Episode Four

"If anything bad happens to my side chick and my baby, I will make sure I completely destroy your life. You better think about what you are doing properly. I'm sure you know you are playing with fire. Don't be a fool. Quit the game you are playing or you will have yourself to blame." The General said over the phone. It is now 24 hours since his side chick and the baby went missing and he has been greatly worried about them. He so much loves the side chick and his baby such that if anything happens to them, he wouldn't be able to endure it. The day the female soldier kidnapped them, he had visited the side chick's apartment and found it deserted. The General was very sad.

"I repeat that if anything happens to my baby and my side chick, I will roast you alive. I will make sure you leave the army and I will make sure you will never see that your fiancée again. I'm warning you to give up the hide and seek game you are playing. It is a dangerous game and I'm the master of danger myself." The General said. His voice was husky and threatening, but the female soldier repeatedly called his bluff.

"I'm giving you six hours to release my side chick and my baby." The General said. All he was saying was sounding like the barking of mad dog in the female soldier's ears.

"General, you are just blabbing. Let me tell, you are sounding like a broken record. I'm not afraid of you. The end to this whole game is in your hands. It's as simple as you release my fiancé and I will release your side chick and your son. You said you gave me six hours? Well, I give you 24 hours to release my fiancée. If you fail to release him after 24 hours, I cannot guarantee that you will see your side chick and your son again. Well, you will see them again, but you will not recognize them because I will totally finish them." The female soldier said with a lot of anger. Within the last few days, she had grown very lean because she was thinking of Acho. Each night, she actually thinks she won't be able to see him again because she knows the General to be a very dangerous man. However, she decided not to give up on the love of her life without putting up a strong fight.

"And by the way, I have send you a video of your side chick. Check your phone and you will see what I have done to her so far." The female soldier said. Although she was weak, her voice was still loud and clear.

"How dare you shave the head of my side chick? Are you mad? Have you lost it completely? This is cruel. Why did you shave her head?" The General asked after opening his phone and putting on his data. A video and one other message had flown into his phone. One was a video showing his side chick in a very dirty environment that looked water-logged. Her head was shaved and he noticed that his son was not with the side chick. He was alarmed.

"And by the way, where is my son? He is not in the video. What have you done with my son? Prove to me that my son is still alive." The General said. The female soldier could hear from the sound of his voice that he was passing through distress. She kind of enjoyed that moment, knowing that she had made progress in letting the General know that he does not have the monopoly of cruelty. The female soldier decided to press the pain button harder.

"I want to see my son." The General said pleadingly.

"It depends. The whole thing is in your hands. if you want to see him, I will show, but it's up to you. I can only show you your son when you have released my fiancée. If not, just kiss him goodbye. By day way, I have sent another message into your Whatsapp. I will advice you check it urgently." Female soldier said, satisfactorily.

Again, the General opened his Whatsapp only to see a screenshot of an important document.

"Where did you get this document?" The General asked. At that time, his voice was shaking because he felt really threatened when he saw the content of the document sent to him by the female soldier.

"Do you realize I will lose my job if you leak this document to the press?" The General asked. He stood up from his chair in the office and went into the restroom to make sure no one outside would hear what he was saying about the document in the female soldier's possession.

"Yes I know you will lose your job and even go to jail if I leak the document. And that's exactly what I want you to know. I have more documents of all the financial deals you sent me to do for you at the bank. I kept photocopies of all the bank documents for the monies you stole and sent me to deposit for you in the bank. I have photocopies of all the documents containing your dirty secret. The one I sent to you is just one of them. I just want to let you know that I will release it to the press if I don't see my fiancée in 24 hours." The female soldier said with so much confidence. She knew she had hit the General below the belt and it's all sweet because the General never expected such courage from her.

"You can't do this. Do you want to ruin my life? Do you want to ruin everything I have built over the past 30 years? Call off this game and I promise I won't punish you." The General said. He was practically sweating in his office despite the fact that the whole place was air- conditioned.

"Like I said earlier, the whole thing is in your hands. Once you release Acho, I will consider your request to release you side chick and to destroy the documents. And also, I have to add that I'm going to call your wife and let her know you have had a child with a side chick. I will spill the secret to the press and your family. This is war and I'm guessing you were prepared before you started it." The female soldier said after which she dropped the phone.

The General was in pains, and went back to his soft chair to think of his next line of action.
