“I’m very much angry with you” I said to Lisa. Ryan had already left.

“I’m sorry but you’re just too difficult” I huff at her. We heard the bell chim.

“I’ll go get the door” Lisa headed to the door. I wonder who that could be? She opened the door giggling as Angel stepped in.

“Oh my God Angel” Lisa and I hugged her. I missed her like mad.

“Really Nora did you have to fake your death”

“Join them” I said sarcastically.

“I thought you were dead I even mourned you only to find out that you’re alive” “I’m sorry I put you through all that. I just needed a new life”

“And you didn’t bother to tell. Nora we are friends” “If I did you would have told Kia. I needed space”

“And there’s nothing wrong with that after all he’s your husband” “Not anymore”

“What do you mean? I don’t recall you guys divorcing” “He’s married to Nora and not Taylor. I’ve got a new identity”

“You are just deceiving yourself. You are still his wife and you Lisa you didn’t bother to tell me”

“Don’t scold her it was my idea”

“I tried to talk her out of it but she wouldn’t listen” “So you guys have kids together huh?”

“If Kia sent you to talk to me tell him you failed cause I ain’t going back on my words”

“She’s stubborn”

“Really stubborn”

“How are things with your family?”

“Everything is fine Nora”

“Yeah your relationship is always perfect”

“No relationship is perfect Nora. Brad and I quarrel a lot but we always settle that’s what marriage is all about. Love,commitment,trust,money,forgiveness and tolerance are the foundation for a good marriage”

“Marriage counsellor well done”

“You are still the same. Can I see your kids”

“Of course”

“Nora I know how you feel but those kids need their father and he needs you too”

“I don’t know Angel its hard to forgive him”

“I totally understand but no one is asking you to forgive him immediately. You can start by letting him have access to the kids with time I believe you will heal”

“If I do he will take them away from me”

“Kia wouldn’t do such a thing. He loves you so much and wouldn’t want to hurt you”

“But he already did. I can’t let him back into our lives”

“Do it for our friendship Nora and for the kids” I know Kia sent her but its just so hard to say no to her. She’s like my mom and I wouldn’t want to let her down. She seems to know my soft spot.

“I’ll give it a try Angel. You can tell Kia to come over tomorrow to see the kids. I’m totally cool with it as long as he doesn’t turn my kids against me” She giggles giving me a hug.

“He wouldn’t. Thanks Nora”

“Hey girls food is ready” Lisa says walking in.

The next day Kia visited. I felt uneasy being around him.

An awkward moment indeed.

“Jacinta,Alex this is your daddy?”

“Daddy we hate you”they chorused and Kia was surprised.

Even I was surprised I wasn’t expecting such from them

“What’s up sweeties I thought you would be happy to see your daddy”

“We are but he makes you cry mummy”

“And he abandoned us”

“Daddy loves you sweeties and I’m sorry if I made your mummy cry. Is daddy forgiven?”

“No” he looks at me and I look away. How is it my fault?

“What can daddy do to make it up to you?”Jacinta whispers something to Alex and he nodded.

“Will you take us to have ice cream?” Kia smiles.

“Of course. As long as daddy is forgiven”

“Mummy daddy wants to take us to have ice cream” Jacinta giggles. “Mummy will you come will you come with us?” “No honey have fun”

“please”

“Maybe next time. I’ve got a lot of things to do”I’ve got nothing to do actually there’s no way I’m going with kia.

“Give mummy a kiss” they kissed me in both my cheeks as I kiss their forehead too.

“Don’t let them stay out too long”

“Nora I …”

“Just go” he looks at me with eyes filled with emotions before leaving with the kids.

I pray he returns my kids .I won’t forgive him if he takes them away from me. “You did the right thing Nora”

“The right thing doesn’t feel right to me” I reply.

“With time it would”

“Lisa are you Ok?”

“I don’t think so. I feel dizzy” She fainted on my arms.
