Darasimi woke up one day only to see stains of blood on the floor. She couldn’t fathom where the blood came from. The stains were footprints of a person made with blood. It was magical in nature and scary at the same time.

She was really scared. She didn’t know when she screamed “blood of Jesus!!!”

Immediately she shouted “Jesus” , she was given a very hot slap on her right cheek.

“Yehhhhhh!!!” She screamed.

She turned her head only to see Daniel at her back. He was the one that gave her a terrible slap that almost caused her to weep.

“If you dare mention that name in this house again, consider yourself dead.” Daniel threatened.

“Daniel, what has come over you. When did all this start. Have I ever for once complained? When we were on campus, I sticked to you through thick and thin. I knew you weren’t rich back then in school yet, I did not complain. I did not leave you. I was there for you. Why on earth will you do this great wickedness to me. Why did you choose to be a ritualist?” My friend said.

” You called me a ritualist? Darasimi, you called me a ritualist????” Daniel barked.

Before she could say ” jack”, Daniel descended on her. He gave her the beatings of her life.

“If you call me a ritualist again, I’m going to burn you. I will make sure you die a miserable death.” He said as he walked away.

Darasimi couldn’t believe her eyes. Well, that wasn’t the first time Daniel laid his hands on her.

There was a time Darasimi sustained an injury on her stomach due to one of the severe beatings she received from the hand of a beast called Daniel. She had to undergo surgery before she came back to life.

“Damilola, you don’t know what God has done in your life. Darasimi’s case is supposed to be yours assuming you ended up with Daniel.” My mentor said.

“Mummy, it is true. I don’t think I can bear 10% of what Darasimi passed through.” I said.

“Mummy, Daniel really threatened Darasimi. He really persecuted her. He persuaded her to renounce her faith in Christ but Darasimi wasn’t moved.

The last straw that broke the camel’s back was when Darasimi was praying one day. That day, Daniel was not at home.

Darasimi was praying seriously to God to break every strongholds in her family when Daniel rushed inside. She didn’t know he was back.

My friend was deep into prayer when Daniel poured water on her where she knelt, praying to God.

“Ahhhh, Daniel, why will you do this to me? ” She asked in tears.

“Pray again and I will send you out of this house.” He threatened.

She decided to stop praying out loud. Daniel was very pleased.

Immediately, he brought out a nylon and handed it over to Darasimi. He told her he got a gift for her.

When she opened the nylon, she saw one of her favorite snacks. As she was about to devour the snacks, a voice instructed her not to eat the snacks.

The temptation was too strong for her. She didn’t know when she began to devour those snacks.

Immediately she was done devouring the snacks, it was as if something left her. She sensed it. She knew something happened.

She tried praying but the strength wasn’t there for her.

She was almost gone but God’s mercy came through for her.

The snacks really affected her system badly. Daniel did something to those snacks. They weren’t ordinary snacks.

God saved my friend. She did not die.

Daniel had been after her life for a very long time despite the fact that he used her womb but, God did not deliver her into his hands.

It got to a stage that Daniel couldn’t bear it anymore. He sent her out of his house and brought another woman in.

It was like a joke when Daniel asked her to start packing her loads. When she noticed how firm he was, she begged him. All the pleas went on deaf ears.

She had to leave.

She went to stay with her pastor’s family. She narrated her ordeals to them, they encouraged her to keep on holding on to the God of all flesh.

She couldn’t hold back her tears when she remembered how it all started when she was on campus. She couldn’t believe that the Daniel she once knew back then on campus could treat her like that.

If anyone ever told her Daniel was going to be a ritualist, I’m sure she wouldn’t have married him at the first instance.” I said.

” It is well, we will keep praying for her. I hope you’ve learnt a lot from her life.” My mentor asked.

“Yes ooooo. I have really learnt a lot. I can’t thank God enough for saving me from the hands of Daniel. At first, I thought I was going to die if I didn’t end up with him. I thought my life would have been complete if I had married him. In fact, it was as if I was going to die when I got the news that he got married to another woman, not me. It was as if my life was broken. I never knew God was saving me from complex and terrible marital problem.” I said.

” Sometimes, dear, we have our own plans. God has a beautiful plan for you. He has a beautiful plan for my life as well. He has a beautiful plan for everyone.

Sometimes, our plans are different from God’s plans. God’s plans are the best. Yes, He has good thoughts towards everyone to give us an expected end.

Sometimes, when our plans want to over power God’s plans, He allows some situations to happen so as to disrupt our own plans. That’s why sometimes, there are some things that may be happening to you that are actually difficult for you to comprehend.

There are some things that may be happening to you that may be very hard for you to understand “why?”.

There are some circumstances God allow us to face inorder for us to get to our destination. It’s not as if God is wicked. It is because He has plans for us. God allowed His only begotten son to die for us on the cross of calvary not because He was a wicked God but, for our own good.

And that is why if you are a real child of God, irrespective of what you may be passing through, all things will always work together for your good.

Though, you may not understand what He is allowing you to pass through at the moment but, you will surely understand by the time He is done with you.

And that is why you must always see blessings in disguise in whatever situation you are passing through. You must always see challenges of life as stepping stones to your greatness.

My dear, you won’t last if you don’t have a story to tell.

And that’s why challenges of life must be seen as a blessing in disguise. Dissapointement must be seen as divinely settled appointments.

So, whenever you’re passing through tough time, always praise God because in the midst of your tough time, He has a plan for you. He hasn’t forgotten you. He is working things out for you.

Dear, instead of crying because of challenges that surrounds you, learn from those challenges. Let them push you to God. Let those challenges teach you how to trust in God absolutely. Let those challenges draw you closer to God. Let those challenges build you. I hope you understand my point?” My mentor asked.

” Yes, I really understand. Thank you, mummy.” I replied.

” Dami, what is God saying about your marital life? Haven’t you seen a man?” She asked.

” Hmmm!!! mum, I’m getting confused. I’m frustrated. I don’t know maybe God has forgo…” I didn’t finish my words when she cut in.

” Don’t say that, dear. God hasn’t forgotten you. Your delay is not denial, remember!!! So, what is making you confused?”…
