Darasimi finally gave her life to Christ. She became a devoted member of a church in her locality. She was really on fire for God.

The sudden change in her behavior and way of life really baffled Daniel. He never expected her to change. He wasn’t expecting her to become a real child of God.

“Well!” Going to church every Sunday doesn’t mean you are a child of God. You are only a child of God when you have personal contact with God. Yes, when you’ve genuinely encountered calvary.

Being a christian, going to church every Sunday wasn’t a big deal for Daniel. In fact, he attends service every Sunday. The fact that Darasimi prays everyday, studies her Bible each passing day, became a big problem for Daniel.

He tried talking to her not to be a chronic christian. He believed there was nothing to pray about, since he had all the money on earth to buy things.

He thought money could buy all things. Little did he know that money cannot buy happiness. Money cannot buy salvation. Money cannot buy the baptism in the Holy Ghost. Money cannot redeem a soul from hell. Money cannot buy joy. In fact, money cannot buy the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Money cannot buy a child. Yes, I mean the heritage from God.

If money could have bought them a child, I believe Darasimi could have been pregnant by now but no, money couldn’t.

Her salvation was free of charge. She didn’t pay a dime to be saved. So, it’s not only the rich that can be saved. Both poor and rich, young and old, male and female… are entitled to this free salvation.

In fact, Daniel told her he had plans of adopting children for her…

Along the line, Daniel couldn’t bear the fire burning in his house.

One day, his herbalist called him and warned him sternly to do away with his wife else, death will take him away.

Darasimi was praying one night when Daniel slapped her.

“You bastard! Why must you pray when I’m asleep. I had an hectic day in the office, today. Now, you’re here disturbing me with your noise. If you don’t allow me to sleep in peace this night, you will smell pepper. Bastard!” He shouted as he took his leave.

Darasimi couldn’t believe her eyes. She decided not to pray on top of her voice. She prayed silently. She prayed fervently and her prayers touched heaven. God started working wonders, right in her house.

All of a sudden, Daniel came into her room. He was pleading with her to stop praying. The fire was unbearable for him.

“Darasimi, my love, please, I don’t want you to stress yourself. Please, you can continue your prayers some other time. Let’s go to bed. Please!!!” He pleaded.

Despite the fact that he was pleading with her, Darasimi was still connected to God. She was groaning in her spirit. She was communing with God in her spirit. God was listening to her.

There is power in prayers.

After much persuasion, though, she was already done with her prayers. She followed Daniel. They went to sleep.

God revealed many things to Darasimi in her dreams.

He told her to keep following Him with a perfect heart. He revealed some secret things to her.

She woke up the following day, revived. She was joyful. No element of sadness was found in her.

This really baffled Daniel. He knew her to be a moody woman. She had always been drown in the ocean of depression.

All he could see was the joy of salvation coming forth from within. Unspeakable joy!

All attempts to bring Darasimi down became futile.

My friend was a burning and shining light. The enemies wanted to complete their missions in her life but, it boomerang.

At a point, Daniel was asked to kill Darasimi. She had been his major disturbance every since she encountered Christ. It was either she dies or he dies.

He was taught different strategies on how to kill her.

Daniel had forgotten that God Almighty is One that disappoints the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. He had forgotten that no one can battle with God and overcome.

Daniel’s evil agenda were well known to Darasimi. God instructed her not to eat anything from him.

Yes, at a point, Daniel became a loving husband, all of a sudden. Things he never did before, he started doing them. He had never prepared breakfast for her but, he did on that fateful day.

He prepared breakfast. Not just an ordinary breakfast. He prepared a normal breakfast and added a substance into the food. As he was about taking the food to her in the room, he hit his leg on something and the tray in his hand fell. All its contents poured. The plate was broken into pieces.

Before he could say “jack” Darasimi rushed down to meet him. She took broom and swept the place. She disposed everything into the dustbin.

She went to the kitchen to prepare another meal for both of them. Daniel’s countenance changed. Mission failed.

One of their dogs went to the dustbin to eat the food that was disposed there.

After eating the food, the dog died.

“Dear, what could have actually caused the death of Bingo?” My friend asked.

“I really can’t say. I guess Bingo hasn’t been feeling fine for some days. Well, now, he is dead. I will forever miss him.” Daniel said as he was trying to fake tears.

My friend smiled. All she could say was “it is well.” Daniel left her angrily.

She was full of gratitude unto God.

His phone rang. Daniel picked the call. Little did he know that Darasimi was very close to the door, listening to his conversation with the person at the other end.

“Is she dead?” the caller asked.

” No, she is not dead. She will be dead by tomorrow, sir. I promise.” Daniel said.

She wasn’t surprised. She believed that the same God that spared her from death would perfect his works in her life.

She went to her room and acted as if she didn’t hear anything.
