It's over two weeks since I last saw Emma.

I know what time she's leaving her place so I tried to leave before or after her so I won't see her.

I miss her but I think seeing her would just crushed me.

I wonder if she's thinking about me too. Is she missing me? Longing for me like how am I to her now?

I know I'm just torturing myself but I can't help it, she's all I can think about.

I suddenly understood all the words from a love song. Being in the house after school, nothing to do made me listen to love songs, or maybe because I am broken hearted, either way, listening to it, understanding each word makes me remember all the time I was with Emma.

How happy we were, the teasing, how she was jealous of Kate, her actions.. everything.

Don't leave me in all this pain

I was lying in my bed, feeling the lyrics when I felt my eyes teared up.

I really miss her.

I was singing my heart out when suddenly my door opened loudly.

"What the F!"

I think my heart skipped a beat when I heard the door, I literally had a mini heart attack.

"Anne!" I exclaimed.

"Oh my God! Are you fucking crying?" Anne ran to my bed and sat beside me, worried.

"W-What?" I quickly wiped my tears.

"What happened?" Worries crossed her face.

"N-Nothing, what are you doing here?" I tried to recover myself, though it's too late, she already saw me crying, but still.

"Well, Dad said you're not leaving your room, you don't even eat with them whenever they're at the house." She was already caressing my back.

"What happened, Sis?" She was really worried.

I remember the time that she hadn't moved out yet, we were very close that even if we have separate bed, we always sleep in the one bed.

We have 5 years gap but Anne was very fond of me, protecting me from other kids who always tease me, fighting my fight.

But then she moved out, had a job and boyfriends. We still text but not very often.

"Well, they grounded me so I was just obeying them." I answered sarcastically, though I know that's not what she was asking me for.

"You drink and drive, Jen. Mom and Dad are very cool with us drinking but you know their rule, and you broke it." She defended them.

"But you know that's not what I was asking you. C'mon, spill."

She adjusted her seat and faced me.

"It's nothing, Anne, really. And you shouldn't have come all the way here, I'm fine. I just, I don't feel like going out of my room, that's all." I tried to reason but knowing Anne, she wouldn't believe any of that.

"Get up! Come on, Get up!" She stood up while tapping my arm.

"What?"

"We're going out, let's go!"

"Uhmm, maybe you forgotten I'm grounded?"

"Not tonight, you're not."

"What?"

"I already told Mom I'm taking you out tonight, they are worried about you, you know, but they couldn't let you off your punishment as they want to discipline you."

"Come on, get your ass out of that bed. It's Friday night!" Anne held my hand and tried to pull me but I wouldn't let her.

"I don't feel like going out, I told you I'm fine."

"Oh yeahh, you're fine - unbreak my hearrtttt!" She imitated how I sang earlier, though hers is a bit exaggerated.

We both laughed at that.

"Let's go, Jen. I flew all the way here to see you, please."

"Fine!"

I finally obliged.

Anne waited at the living room while I took a quick shower and dress up. I don't know where we're going so I just put up some casual attire. High waist ripped jeans and matched it with black long sleeves crop top. and white converse shoes.

I walked out of my room and went straight to the living room where Anne and our parents are catching up.

"Let's go."

"Where you girls are going?" My Dad asked.

My Mom just eyeing me and I suddenly felt conscious. I feel like she's seeing through me. I tried to avoid her eyes.

"I'm thinking a game night, bowling or something, or maybe movies." Anne was looking at me, checking my reactions.

"That sounds fun. You girls enjoy."

My Mom was quiet and I feel like she was observing me or something, she was not even looking at Anne but just me. She's actually weirding me out.

"Owkaay! Bye." I said to them both.

I pushed Anne to the door before she could even bid her goodbye.

As soon as we close the door behind us, the next door did the same.

Emma.

I was stunned to see her as she was. Her hand was still in the door knob and her eyes was on me. Both of us were not moving, just looking at each other.

God, I really miss her!

"Ahermm!" Anne breaking the moment.

That causes Emma to look at Anne then averted her eyes to my hand in Anne's arm.

I swear her expression changed when she saw I was holding Anne's arm, her features hardened.

"Ahermm!" Anne repeated but a little bit louder as none of us seems to remember how to move.

But it made me back to my senses.

Anne, to my surprise intertwined our hands and pull me to go.

"Let's go, babe!"

Before I could even talk, she was already pulling me out of the building. I didn't even had to chance to look back and See Emma again.

She lost weight, I think. Her cheeks fell and she looked a bit pale. I don't think I've noticed what she was wearing as my eyes were so focused in her face.

Anne and I were already in the car, I don't even remember how did I get there. All I know that she was pulling me by my hand.

"Well, that was something!"
