Then slowly, she walked up to Nathan and calmly began to apologise.

“Nathan, I’m truly sorry for the things I just said to you. Believe me, It all came from a place of anger. I never meant any of them” Daniella pleaded with sincerity in her eyes.

But Nathan pushed her out of his way. And then with anger, he barged out of the house leaving her in regrets.

And for three days, he didn’t come home to Daniella who kept blaming herself for everything.

Then being left with no choice, she called Caleb and narrated everything to him and with anger, Caleb barged into Nathan’s office to confront him.

“Nathan!” Caleb yelled slamming both palms on his office desk.

“And, what is the meaning of this?” Nathan asked staring confusedly at Caleb.

“Nathan, why are you bent on frustrating and making life miserable for Daniella your wife?” Caleb asked trying so hard to contain his anger.

“Oh…!, now I get what this is all about and where it is coming from, So you two have gotten so close to the extent that she tells you everything that goes on in my home right? I knew it. I said that definitely, something is going on between the two of you and here you are confirming my suspicions” Nathan said.

“Nathan you are beginning to do too much. But I will advise you to get your head straight and do what’s right before you lose a good woman who loves you wholeheartedly. You piece of trash!” Caleb yelled.

“Wow!, Caleb, you are one hell of a shameless person. I can’t believe I actually considered you a close friend. How could you go behind my back to have my woman to the extent that she now tells you everything that goes on in my home?” Nathan asked.

“No Nathan. You are very wrong to think that I am a shameless person. Whereas, you are everything you just called me. And that’s because it takes only a shameless man like you to ask a friend to sleep with his wife. And after he did as you instructed, you turned around and begin to push the blames on your innocent wife who was just a victim in all these” Caleb fumed.

“Seeing how you are here vouching for her, I guess you must have enjoyed her a lot,” Nathan said.

Hearing this, Caleb immediately slapped him.

“Sorry to say this man, But you are very stupid Nathan. You are useless. In fact, I have never met someone as foolish, as thoughtless and brainless as you are. Gosh! You reek of disgust. I wonder what Daniella even saw in you before she accepted to marry you” Caleb fumed.

Hearing this, Nathan burst out laughing.

“What she saw in me is what she will never see in you, Caleb. Do you think I am that foolish not to notice that you have feelings for my wife? Go ahead and deny it, you scoundrel” Nathan raged.

But Caleb remained silent.
