AKOR’S POV

I am very happy we are back together, I have been thinking about my life recently and I have decided to let go of my past and focus on the future… Do you know I met Betty today and she completely denied knowing me from anywhere. No one is to be trusted, I am happy you left Vicky. The marriage would have been hell for you… Congratulations my guy.

Akor, you won’t understand… My heart is on fire, please give me cool water.peter said

Hope if I give you this cold water, you won’t faint here…

Akor give me water, I don’t know how my system is doing me, I’m so nervous… I feel like throwing up, did I do the right thing at all, do you think I should have handled this differently? Why am I feeling heartbroken, am I supposed to be feeling this way. Peter said

I looked at him and he looks so pitiful… You made the right decision my guy, please forget about the past and let’s move on. Start by going to work regularly and not only when you have operation… You might meet someone that will change your life forever. Please put yourself together, I really don’t like this part of you. Go to your room, dress up and let me take you somewhere this night to make you happy.

Peter left and I dress up, he came back after sometime and I took him to “wine bar” a popular bar where you can get good fish and also see different hockers… We went there and Peter saw some ladies sampling themselves and he was asking me if they were waiting for a bus, I smiled and told him… They are selling their market… Peter was still acting as if he doesn’t understand then I took him to one of them and ask him how much for the night and she gave her price. Peter opened his mouth and I used my hand to cover it.

I told the lady I can’t afford it and we left, Peter was so shocked and he told me he use to hear about this but never knew they exist…

I smiled and went and bought him a drink, he rejected alcohol but I made him drink Smirnoff ice… After drinking 2 bottles I told Peter it’s time to go home, Peter stood up and sat back and told me he can’t feel his legs, Peter was asking me “where did you keep my legs” I checked and saw his legs intact but he kept complain he can feel his legs… I had to drag him to where I parked my bike and beg someone to help me sit behind him so I can take him home.

We got home and I took him to his room and put him on his bed then left him…

I went to my room and couldn’t get the picture of all the girls from my head but managed to sleep off.

The next day, Peter came barging my door and he said, “you are a bad influence, I told you I don’t take alcohol why did you make me take it? Akor, what is wrong with you? Is this the fresh start you spoke about? Let me tell you something, I have made my decision and all thanks to your piece of advice earlier. I will be going to the office now and be a better person and I hope you put yourself together too because I saw how you were looking at those girls last night”

Sorry about yesterday Peter, but those girls the enter my eyes Sha, I get your point though and I will work on myself too. I am happy you are starting afresh, I promise what happened last night won’t repeat itself…

Peter said okay and went to work…

I went back to dress up for work and noticed I was not feeling well but managed to go to work.

6 MONTHS LATER

PETER’S POV

I came back from work in the evening and saw that Akor’s health is not improving… I was promoted at my work place and things are a bit better for me, I don’t go for operations. The only thing that bothers me now is Akor’s health which is not showing any improvement.
