The next day,

I have prepared her meal before she is up for work, she smiled and thanked me before eating, at least her mood is better than yesterday’s own and she look prettier.

“How is the egg?”.

“Perfect, just like the way I liked it. Thank you dear, you are such a perfect man” she complimented while I smiled.

We both ate and went our ways.

David pov

My past few weeks were filled with work and I hardly have time to visit my parents, I haven’t set my eyes on Jennifer since the last time I warned her. She is probably scared of my threat, I don’t like it when people think they can do anything anyhow without anyone holding them to it.

Everything about Kemmy matters to me. I still love her, but I respect her decision and wouldn’t tamper with it…but I won’t like it if someone hurt her.

I missed seeing her, my days and night are lonely, we only chatted on phone and it is formal chatting not personal ones.

I decided to visit my friend in the evening after work.

“David, we need to tell ourselves the truth, you are no longer getting younger and you need someone to spend the rest of your lives with. What are you waiting for man? You have everything a woman desires….what is keeping you waiting?” Gabriel asked

“The only woman I love is with another man, how did you expect me to move on? The other girls that keep pestering me are not my taste, I didn’t like any of them”.

“It’s because you are still tangled with Folakemi’s thought, once you let go of her thought. You will definitely find the interest in another woman. Folakemi is a good and hard-working lady, ever since she started working for me. I haven’t hear any complaint about her job. I really wished that she can marry you..but, we can’t stop fate. It’s her decision to go with her man and I wish her the best”. Gabriel calmly replied while i sighed.

Adebayo pov

I got to the restaurant by 7:00pm in the evening and couldn’t find the lady that sent me message, I decided to call the number and she picked up.

“Oh…bayo, you are there right! I am sorry, I can’t show you the information with me right away due to some reasons, we will meet in another time” she replied and ended the call while I hissed.

“Why did I waste my time in coming to this place in the first instance, I won’t ever take you serious again” I said and drive back home.

The next week

Steven finally got back home from his travel, we both spent time together gisting and laughing.

“You are still with Folakemi?” He asked

“Yes nah!

“Your love is long oooo, since school days, I can’t also wait to see her. Are you both married?”.

“Very soon, we will” we both laughed off while I drive him to my house.

Folakemi also came visiting, we all sat and talked about old times.

After few weeks.

Folakemi pov.

I finally got married to the love of my life, after many storms, we are finally together.

My dad is the happiest man on Earth, he keep showering me with praises, my mother in law kept a straight face till we end the wedding while Mr Adisa didn’t come for the party.

Atinuke keep nudging at me with smiles written all over her face, everyone is happy for me.

David also came for the party with my boss,

He has a swollen face like someone that is crying for so long, my heart arched for him seeing him in that condition. He managed to smile at me and present his gift to me while I thanked him. He left afterwards.

My heart is filled with joy as I entered the car that conveyed me home.

I got home before Adebayo,

He quickly unbottened his shirt and helped in undressing me.

I felt shy and covered my eyes.

“Why shall you shy? You are in front of your husband now…after all, I am your husband and not your fiancee anymore. I have waited for this moment. The two times we did it together was a preamable, I am going to give you the real show this night”

“You are naughty, I need to shower before doing anything and clean up my make up” I said tying the towel around my chest.

“Let me use my tongue to clean up everything, you look soooo hot today, I couldn’t wait for the party to finish, see this(he said pointing downward) it’s hard for you”.

“You are naughty dear, let me get into the bathroom and come back for you” I replied before running off to the bathroom.

I showered and went back to the room. I met him half nak!d with his boxer on.

He grabbed my hand and pull me to the bed, he quickly removed my towel and feasted on my lips, I was going cra*zy when he keep tickling me with his tongue.

I close my eyes in pleasure when I felt his hands leaving my body.

I opened my eyes to see him sitting on the bed.

“What’s wrong dear?” I quickly asked.

“My body is no longer hard”. He sadly said.

“Why is that?”.

“I can’t feel anything, it’s not standing like before”

“When did this started?” I impatiently asked.

“I noticed it now, I feel like feasting on you…but the moment i get closer to you. I felt nothing” he replied and covered his face in shàme while i patted his back.

“Everything will be alright, we can try it next time. You don’t need to cry over this” i consoled while he went into the bathroom to shower, I felt wet underneath and decide to remove my pant.

He came back in looking sober.

We both lay on the bed while I rested my head on his chest.
