She asked searching my eyes for an answer while I smile.

“You must be a big f*ool if you think that I am going to accept whatever deal you are offering me. Love is not to be forced, it comes naturally. How did you expect her to behave towards me when she found out that I raped her because it only means raping her. I would rather gain her heart naturally than force myself on her because of a five minutes enjoyment. What am I even explaining to you for? We have no business together”. I shouted at her.

“You always sound angry anytime you talk to me, am I that ba*d?”.

“Young lady, I think I am done here exchanging words with you”. I said and paid at the counter, I was about to leave when I heard…

“What if.. you never gets to win her heart. Is this how you will spent the rest of your life?”.

“Let fate determines that not you” I replied and left.

Christiana p.o.v

He left while my phone ring,

“I met him here, he just left” i said and end the call while another call came in.

“Relax dear, it’s all yours. I know how you want this, but trust me, you are going to have your way” I replied and also left after paying for the groceries.

“I don’t know the reason why he is being stubborn. He is so strong headed.

Anyways, let’s wait and see”. I Said and start my car.

I Alighted from my car and was about to go into my house when a car double crossed me.

I calmly stay and waited for whoever is behind the wheel.

He got down from the car looking cute as usual. Raymond is one of my ex boyfriend, I left him when I lose interest in him. We have slept with each other few times and I don’t longer enjoy anything from it again. It’s still the same thing with other guys. I want something different.

He walked towards me and place a kiss on my forehead.

“How have you been Christie?”.

“Am good as usual, may I know the reason why you are here?”.

“I am here for you as usual, even though you keep sending me away and start chasing another guy. Don’t you want to settle down?”.

“I have not had enough fun yet and it doesn’t concern you wether I am ready to settle down or not” I replied

“I guess you are telling me to leave”.

“What else does it look like to you?” I asked raising my voice.

He smile while two guys Alighted from his car. I wasn’t aware that he came with two other people. They look fierce and huge, I sensed that something is about to happen as I quickly walk towards the gate.

He grabbed my back and pulled me into his car while the two guys stayed at the back seat with me. I was about to scream when I felt a shot at the side of my neck.

Everything blanked out.

I was unconscious but could feel someone on top of me. I couldn’t open my eyes neither could I move my fingers.

After few hours . I weakly open my eyes and see Raymond starring at my face. He is wrapped in a white towel while he held a cigarette in his hand.

“What did you do to me?” I weakly asked

“There is this thing about young girls of nowadays, you think you can dump guys anyhow. Well, I am not someone you can scrape off your back”.

“Was that the reason why you raped me?”

“I didn’t rape you, we only enjoyed each moment together” he replied.

I am still weak and couldn’t move myself yet, he noticed my mood

“Don’t worry, my maids will take care of your body while you regain your strength” he said and walk out of the room.

Hot tears streamed down my face.

“I swear you will pay for this” I swore out weakly.

Folakemi p.o.v

I resumed back to office this morning and could see David’s back when he was entering the boss office.

He later came out looking disturbed. I wanted to ask him what the matter was but decide against it because I know him to be troublesome.

He didn’t visit me as usual, he only left after talking to his friend.

I have a weird feeling that he is aware of my introduction party but had to wave off the thought.

After few hours…

He came back with all smiles. In his hands were two wrapped gifts.

He dropped it on my table and smile.

“Is it because I disturb you alot that makes you not to inform me of your introduction party?” He asked

“Hmm, I couldn’t see you and….

“But you have my number, you are using that method to scrape me off your back. I understand. Perhaps your fiancee is afraid that I might snatch you away from him. He should have waited for a while, why the rush of doing everything fast?”.

“David, I understand how you feel towards me, I want you to know that…I am no longer a kid. The best thing I could do is get everything done fast”.

“I won’t rush you Folakemi, you know the kind of person i am. I don’t rush things, I will give you enough time in the world. I am ready to give all my life to you…I mean my ENTIREEE LIFEE”. He said reaching out for my fingers while I snap it out of his grip.

“I don’t bite”.

“I know you don’t, what if my fiancee comes in and see you holding my fingers, how did you want him to feel?” I asked

“That showed that he didn’t trust you because how would he think of another thing if he meet us in that position. Anyways, I am here to give you this two gifts as your introduction present but please can I know the actual address?”.

“You can, why not. It showed that you have given up on me” I said excitedly putting a small blue card on the table while he put it in his pocket.

“Says who? I am not backing out, you are not yet married. I don’t back off easily”. He replied with a slight frown.

“Can I advice you as a younger sister?”.

“Go ahead! He said

“Once whatever you are chasing is not finally yours, you should learn to give it up. Better things are coming in the future”.

“This is my own future because I am moving closer to 40years of age. When should I be dreaming of my future? It’s all gone Folakemi and I will wait for you” he said standing up while I heaved a sigh.

He left leaving back the two gifts.

“He is indeed a stubborn man” I muttered to myself.
