After that, Abdul and I left the room and strolled inside the palace.. As we came to the dining chamber… I saw my son hassan laying about on a couch, he was being massaged by some older slaves and he orders a young slave girl to bring a tray of berries.. The girl does as she’s told, she kneels down before him and holds the tray up.. Hassan feasts on the berries and throws the remnants as the girl.. I was angered by this.. What kind of manner is this… Just because she’s a slave doesn’t mean she’s has to be treated like a dog.. But before I could interfere something happens. While he was feasting on the berries.. He accidentally eats one that is spoiled.. He quickly coughs out the bad one and stands up in anger..

Hassan You little wh*re are you trying to poison me?

Slave girl (terrified) No… No.. Young prince..

Hassan You should have checked the berries, wench! You need to be taught some manners..

Out of nowhere, he slaps the girl hard across the face making her fall and spills the berries on the ground.. Before he could assault the girl, I grabbed hold of him and gave him the same slapping treatment.

Hassan (shocked) Father… You slap me?

Mustapha Yes… And I will if you touch that girl..

Hassan But she tried to poison me..

Mustapha Don’t be stupid… You ate a rotten berry.. Besides you should have watched what you were eating instead of throwing everything into your mouth… Go to your room.

Hassan walks away angry mumbling.. I just couldn’t believe this type of person would someday rule this kingdom… I pray and I hope that day doesn’t come.
