As we proceeded into the bar, All eyes turned on us. The room was soon filled with whistles and naughty comments about us. Erica and I sat at the far end of the bar away from all the stinky men but that didn’t keep them away from focusing their attention on us.

In that moment, The black waiter came and stood in front of me and Erica, asking what we want. I quickly shifted my nose away as soon as I perceived an unpleasant smell from him.

Waiter Wat do ya wantta to order?

Erica My friend and I would like to order something strong.

Elizabeth No.. Just give me something light. A vodka would suffice.

Waiter Okay. Your orders will be here shortly. (Leaves)

Erica Vodka!? Come on Elizabeth. Learn to live a little. Life is short.

Moments later, Our drinks were brought to us and before we could taste our liquors, A chubby American man approached us and sat near Erica.

His name is Joe Texas and he’s an old acquaintance of Erica probably one of her night visitors. He had this cheerful silly expression on his face that made him look like some kind of fool but he’s better looking and tidier than the other men in the bar.

Joe Really? Who’s this fetching lady.

Erica Her name is Elizabeth, she’s Mr. Williams’s daughter.
