Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 12

BETTY

“What match?” Someone asked coming into the room.

Harry and I looked up and there was granny and Harry’s mom.

They ran to us excited to see the baby.

“Oh my God! He looks so cute!” Granny cooed.

“Welcome baby boy!” Harry’s mom said happily as she took the baby from me.

” I suggested Fransisco but he refused.” I complained. Granny and Harry’s mom looked up.

“And we decided to have a match. The winner gets to name the baby ” Harry added and I nodded.

” What? ” Granny and Harry’s mom fell into a fit of laughter. “What couple have matches before they name their baby?” Granny laughed.

” You guys don’t need to have a match. I’ve got a cute name for this little man here. Bink! ” Harry’s mom said smiling.

I gasped. ” Wow! I love the sound of that. So cute. I think love that, mom. ” I said happily.

” Yeah, Bink and Edward. ” Harry croaked.

I snapped around to look at him. “Bink and Fransisco!”

“No way. That’s the dumbest name and I’ve ever heard. ” Harry cried out.

Granny and his mom continued laughing.

My baby began crying and I had to collect and breastfeed him.

Bells came in too, screaming excitedly as she ran towards us.

“Wow! Cutie! I’m gonna marry your son,Betty!” Bells said and everyone laughed.

” My son isn’t gonna marry an old woman cos by the time he’s up to age,you are gonna be so old and then.”I said said Bells Chuckled.

At the end of the long fight, we decided on the three names.

Bink Fransisco Edward Wynne. Long right? Well, my baby is lucky. All three names for him!

HARRY

That night,I couldn’t go home.

Betty insisted I stayed with them at the hospital.

I couldn’t sleep either.

All I heard everywhere were baby cries.

All the whole room!! I even started doubting if this baby is really a day old.

He cries like a furious man!

“For spikes sake,Betty! Do something!” I yelled on top of my voice.

” You do something to too! You are human, aren’t you?” She challenged.

” What? I should breastfeed him?” I croaked.

“Well,it’s not so bad. You’ve got breasts too!”

Oh God! I took up the little baby and started walking around the room.

He finally calms down and I passed him unto Betty who breastfed him then.

Minutes later baby Bink was back to sleep.

I sighed when everywhere finally was silent again.

“I can sleep now!” I breathed in and started walking to the big couch in the room.

“No,no. Not so fast. Don’t sleep yet hussie.” Betty said.

I turned to look at her as she raised a piece of paper in her hand. I hung my head, feeling faint.

What is in for me,again?

BETTY

He came nearer and I pushed the piece of paper containing a long list into his hand.

“Get this for me tommorow, please.” I said sweetly.

” What the hell is all this? I’m a guy! How do I know where to get rice cereals!” Harry whispered angrily.

” There is Oatmeal cereals too and Barley cereals.

Don’t make mistake about the diapers. I want real ones.

Three dozens.” I said and Harry turned to look at me, horrified.

I shrugged. Did I say something bad?

“Three dozens of diapers? Do you wanna sell them?” Harry asked.

I rolled my eyes. Dumb ass. ” Of course not. It’s for baby Bink.” I said, batting my eyes at him.

” It’s way too much!” Harry groaned.

Ignoring him,I went on. ” Look at the end of the list. I’m gonna be needing baby milk 1 2 3 and baby formula,for a week old baby and then a set of baby spoons and cups.

I forgot to buy them that day I went to shop for toys and bed.” I said.

” You mean I should get this all by myself?” Harry queried.

” Of course. We have to bear it together.. taking care of our baby together.!”

” Well,I’m sorry I will have to tell your grandma to help me out!”Harry said.

“You won’t do that,Harry. This task is for you!” I said back.

We glared at each other for a fierce minute before he finally looked away with a small sigh.

“We can’t continue like this. I’m getting a maid ” Harry said.

” Maid? In my house? Are you crazy?” I asked.

“Yeah. We are both crazy. Can’t you see? We always make noise and push works at each other.

So,we are crazy .” Harry replied and I shook my head.

Whatever. ” Look here dude, you’ve got to do as the list said and stop mincing words.

You don’t expect me to go to the mall do you?

And I don’t want granny to be stressed out.

So that task is for you.” I said with a mark of finality.

I lay down on the bed and smiled at my sleeping baby once more before closing my eyes.

“Oh, please turn off the light when you are done. Good night!” I said and closed my eyes again.

HARRY

I stared dumbly at Betty as she lay down. The list still hung loosed in my hand.

Where do I find this stupid stuff! Three dozens the diapers!

Argh! I walked back to the couch and fell on it, looking up.

I placed a book on the list and breathed in, looking at Betty.

Why is she doing all this? Is she punishing me for being a bad guy?

Why is she making me do some of the work she’s supposed to do!

I’m a man! Worst of it all is that,no matter how I feel reluctant to do this things, I always felt myself doing them.

Now here I am with a long list of… Diapers and stupid stuff!

I’ve got no choice. I think I will have to go to the mall after all. He’s my baby boy after all.

No choice. Not this time around.
