Faith pov

My father slumped and was rushed to the hospital. Fuck!! I should have thought this through, I thought doing this will scare Vanessa away but instead she grew more bold, it seems she’s not that naive girl from seven years ago anymore.

Vanessa’s mom was looking at me with pure hate, I should have seen this coming, now life is going to be more hellish than ever.

I sat beside my dad on the hospital bed and stared at the tube that was inserted into his nose.

Vanessa, what exactly must I do to get rid of you completely.

“You ruined everything I have cherished till this moment, I knew you were no good.” Vanessa’s mom said, it doesn’t surprise me, infact I should be expecting something much more worse.

I ignored her words and looked at dad who was now regaining consciousness.

Finally he’s awake!

Thomas pov

“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Damn it!” I vexed my anger on the steering.

Things are really getting out of hand, Faith is in the hospital and I wonder if she’s awake or dead.

I nearly killed someone, my wife because of Vanessa and yet she doesn’t see this.

My son, my baby’s mama I want them all, I don’t care what it takes and am sure my only hindrance is Joe I need to take care of him.

“Vanessa and Campbell belongs to me and only me!” I said and clenched my fist together.

Joe pov

Vanessa is really hurting me, am so hopeless, I know I did wrong but she should hear me out at least.

Am really going crazy over her.

I sat in my chair thinking about what my next line of action should be when my doorbell rang.

“Who’s there?” I said reluctantly and went to get the door.

“Hello Joe.” Thomas said with a grin.

“What do you want now?” I asked displeased to see him.

“Just came here to say two words to you.” He said like a threat.

“Which are?” I asked and dip my hands into my pocket.

“Stay away! Stay away from Vanessa she birthed my child, she’s my baby mama.” He replied getting me furious.

“Stay away? From Vanessa? Your baby mama? What a joke.” I said and scoffed.

“Did you just call me a joke?” He asked and pushed me.

“Thomas, you will never

change, I can see you are still the bully that you are and you deserve no happiness.” I stated and moved closer to him.

“What?” He asked.

“Yes, that night, I vividly remember everything, I was against it but you insisted, I knew it was wrong and I told Faith about your devilish deeds and yet it stopped nothing, you got the poor girl pregnant and denied her, yet you are here claiming she’s your baby mama, of course she’s your baby mama and it shall be in your presence when she becomes a lot more to me.” I stated and he punched me.

“Vanessa, belongs to me!” He said striking me with each of his blow.

I pushed him away and started striking him furiously.

“Vanessa belongs to no one, she owns herself and can make her own choices.” I said hitting him hard till he was bleeding.

I pushed him out of my house and he fell to the ground.

“Just wait and see until karma takes its toll on you.” I shouted and slammed the door shut.

This guy is a joke, Vanessa belongs to him? Let’s see.

Vanessa pov

I got home tired and rested on my couch.

“Mummy!” Campbell called and ran towards me.

“Ohh my baby how are you.” I said and embraced him into my arms.

“Am fine mummy, someone came to see you today.” He said pointing towards his room.

“Who?”

“Me, Vanessa am sorry.” Joe said coming from the inner room.

“Joe? What are you doing here?” I asked and a little bit delighted he was here

“Mommy he came to see you and he’s really nice, I like him.” Campbell said excitedly.

“You like him? I don’t know what the maids are doing these days why would they allow a stranger into the house.” I said and Campbell pinched me.

He brought his mouth closer to my ears and whispered saying.

“Don’t say your boyfriend is a stranger, he already told me he’s your boyfriend.” I looked at Joe who was now scratching his head.

“My boyfriend?!” I exclaimed.

Faith pov

“Daddy you are finally awake.” I said and sat him upright.

I caressed his hair to his back and he slapped it away.

“Who’s your Daddy? you this disgraceful child.” He said bringing tears to my face.

“Daddy it’s me faith.” I said beating my chest.

“I don’t have a daughter called Faith, the only child I have is Vanessa, I disown you!” He shouted and my heart broke.
