What Thomas said definitely meant something, his son!

Am sure his girlfriend dosen’t have a child for him and if I can remember clearly the only girl that had his baby is Vanessa.

Could it be he met her?

Joe pov

It was my intention to surprise her with my visit but what I saw was a total Dissappointment.

It hurts my feelings to see Vanessa having s*x.

“Joe!” she said and pushed the guy away.

“Am sorry, I didn’t know you were busy.” I said and left her office.

I was a fool, am a big fool how could I think she won’t have a boyfriend and if possible a fiance.

I got into my car and drove straight to my office.

My thought all on the scene I had seen earlier.

The next day came so fast, my face all gloomy, one could tell that I wasn’t in a good mood.

“Joe, are you ok?” My mom asked me as she served breakfast.

“Am fine mom, I just need time to think some things through.” I responded and took a slice of bread from the plate, I rub some butter on the surface.

“What are the things you need to think through, am your mother you can confide in me.” She said assuredly.

“Mom, what do you know about Jessica’s daughter.” I asked munching on my bread.

“Nothing much, I know she has a baby boy from her ex boyfriend, that’s what her mom told me though have never met her not once.” She replied staring at me.

So, Vanessa had a son, Thomas son this is getting really complicated.

“Oh….. I see.” I replied.

“Why do you ask? Seems you like her already.” She stated and sip on her tea.

“You can say that.” I replied reluctantly and left the table.

Vanessa has a son, Thomas got married to Faith, thinking about it there’s a lot more drama yet to unfold.

And I wonder what’s my part in all this.

Vanessa pov

Everything is just going the wrong way, Campbell is angry at me, Joe caught me having s*x with Chris and am sure he will probably get the wrong idea, but those are just the tip of the iceberg.

I really need to learn how to control this habit, it’s ruining me and I know it, fcking every dck I see.

I stare at my mirror which was in my bathroom as the water from the shower run through my body.

My whole life is a mess, am not a good mother and the man I hate most is trying to take away my only joy.

Well not for long because I have a lot in store for him and he won’t even see it coming.

I got out of my bathroom and clean myself with my towel before anything I need to explain things to Campbell and make him realize he has no father.

I changed into a short and top, something comfy, I opened Campbell’s door and saw him with his nanny smiling so bright, he seems happy.

“Hi.” I said and entered his room.

“Mummy.” He called excitedly.

“Campbell, can mummy have a little of your time?” I asked and he nodded in agreement.

“I will leave you two.” His nanny said and left.

“Mummy, see what I drew, it’s you, me and my dad.” He said showing me his drawing and my heart sank.

“So, this is you, me and your father?” I asked feigning ignorance.

“Yes mummy, aren’t we cute?” He asked with a bright smile.

“Of course we are, we are one cute family but, the only thing is that your father is not here.” I said and touched his curly hair.

“Where did he go to?” He asked curiously waiting for my reply.

“He abandoned us, he said he needs a lot of important things to do and when he’s done he will let us know.” I replied lieing.

Of course I hate Thomas but I can’t let my child hate his own father, I can’t groom him in hatred.

“He abandoned us for something important, when he’s done he will come for us right?” He asked.

“Yes he will, definitely.” I replied and hugged him.

“I love you mummy, am sorry for being rude.” Campbell said with his sweet little voice.

“I love you more, mummy will protect you now and forever.” I will make sure to protect him from that bastard.

Thomas just watch out.

Thomas pov

“Sir we have an Issue.” Anita my PA barged in.

“What’s it about?” I asked and relaxed myself on the chair.

“Your partners called, they want to cancel all their deals with us.” She stated and I stood up from my sit vexed by her words.

“What did you just say they want to cancel their deal?”

“Yes sir…” Unable to utter another word the police barged in.

“How may I help you please?” I asked.

“Mr Thomas Jefferson, you are under arrest for embezzlement.” One of the police men said.

“What? Under arrest?”
