The law of karma states what goes around comes around.

Have always wondered how true that is.

Till I found my own dilemma.

What goes around really comes around.

If I had waited, if had been patient now I have to pay for my mistakes all the rest of my life.

I was a virgin!

“Explain it’s that explanation I want.” She yelled and I flinched.

Tears falling off my face, an exorbitant amount of fear gripped me.

Will she understand me? Even if she does she will never trust me again, am a disgrace, a waste.

“Mom, I will tell you everything let’s leave this place first.” I said with my breaking voice.

My eyes all red due to the tears that fell from it.

“Of course let’s go home, I want to hear everything!” She shouts and stomped out of the place.

The woman and her daughter were just looking at us weirdly as if I had done a crime worse than killing.

I wonder the kind of relationship they both have, for her to show her mom a sex video, when I dare not talk about boys.

She’s really lucky to have her mother.

We got into the car and drove straight to our house, the look on Mom’s face clearly shows her rage, her anger.

I knew I would be dead, there are no amount of words I can say to get her to understand me.

“You are a big disgrace to this family.” My mom said locking me up in her room with my two elder brothers.

“Mom, what happened.” Kunle my first brother asked curiously.

“Could you believe bellie engaged herself in a sex scandal with some guys in school.” She said and landed me another slap which got me on the bed.

“What?!” Kunle and James but exclaimed.

“Billie, is this true?” James asked softly.

“It’s true what kind of question is that, I saw the video with my two eyes”

“Video?” Kunle asked looking at me irritated. “You disgust me, you are a disgrace, you know how mom and dad works so hard to give us a better life, I didn’t expect this from you.”

He said I just lay on the bed weeping continuously with heavy breaths, tensed, I feel suffocated and wished to die.

“You think you can spoil this family name and still live here, no you are going to that guy who you had sex with and live with him, you belong to him now.” She said fiercely, giving me another slap.

“Mom, I think we should hear her out, she must have her reasons.” James said and my mom gave him a dissapointing look.

“Explain, what more explanation do we need.” She said as they all shouts dragging words with each other.

I just lay on the bed, covering my ears as their voice echoed around me.

“STOP!!” I yelled and they all did staring at me with suprises, it’s time I voice out, it’s time I speak out, I have been caged all my life by their decisions, it’s true I was wrong and yes I was wrong, but it’s all their fault as much as it’s mine, it all comes from them.

“I hate you all! I wish to die, kunle you said they work all their life to give us a better life? Why don’t you tell them the secret that’s only known between the three of us.” I said sending fear into the hearts of everyone.

Yes, the only secret visibly known among us am sure you are all curious.

“Mom” I called turning to her “you never did your best as a mother, all you did was to feed us words when you never take actions, you never showed us love or care.”

I said and her jaw dropped, the atmosphere clearly shows that they want to hear what I have to say.

“While you were busy with your job thinking your words and stopping us from having friends were enough, kunle was busy buying porns to satisfy his urges.” I said and mom gave him a cruel look.

“That’s not all, the first porn films I will ever get to watch was the one he bought with the money you gave him, do you know kunle has a girlfriend, he got her pregnant and gave her money for abortion, no I don’t think so, cus you never noticed.”

I wasn’t going to talk, I was going to stop but she needs to know the truth.

“Mom, you are a good mother but you could have done better if you put more actions into your words, if you show us what the world really is, the hardship and reality of life, you won’t like to know that James engaged himself in gayism acts with his friends, only because he couldn’t have a girlfriend.”

“Ahh, am dead, gay? my own son gay?” she said with tears falling off her face as she rolled on the floor.
