Billie’s pov

Sometimes not everyone gets to have a happy ending.

No matter how hard we try.

“Really?” he said and took off his trouser, with his d*ck standing strong.

“Are you sure you don’t want this.” He added shaking his d*ck. “Are you sure you don’t wanna taste it?”

Now I know what I did, I know the gravity of my actions, it’s going to haunt me forever.

“Dave!” I called him with a venomous tone.

“Yes, I know you want it baby, let’s get to business.” He said moving closer to me.

“I don’t blame you, it’s all my fault, but I would advise you to get the hell out of my room before I do something more worse to you.” I yelled and he flinched surprised by my actions.

“Oh I see the b*tch is finally playing saint.” He said pulling up his trouser and then he continues.

“there’s no need for you to act saint because everyone knows about your b*tchy ways now, I would advise you to quit this school or better still kill yourself, you have no life anymore either way.”

He said cruely with no bit of remorse and Stormed out.

He’s actually right I have no life anymore, it’s better I kill myself now.

I thought weeping bitterly, my charred lips, my swollen eyes and my feet which is weak and barely able to walk me.

I have no life.

I got into my kitchen and found my knife lying on the wooden cabinet.

Billie let’s go, it’s over.

I thought pointing the knife straight at my stomach.

My life is a tragedy.

Maria’s pov

“That Billie girl is really something” a guy who passed by me muttered as I entered the hostel gates.

His words brought questions to my mind, why would he come to visit Billie with all the news going about.

Without thinking twice I went to Billie’s room, and found her pointing a knife towards her belly.

“Billie, no no, stop, Billie you don’t want to do this.” I said in a distance trying to stop her.

“Maria, you don’t understand it’s done my whole life is gone, I was so stupid, I should have waited.” She said weeping bitterly.

“No Billie you are wrong, you still have a life, a beautiful and bright future, I know that because I can see that in you, please don’t do this.” I said trying to persuade her.

“I don’t, I don’t have a future, am a waste.” She protested.

“If you say that then we are all a waste, because no one is perfect and we all have our mistakes, even ones much worse than yours, don’t make a greater mistake because of this one, think about your parents or someone you know won’t be able to live if you do this, please Billie.”I said and she dropped the knife falling weak to her feet.

I rushed to her aid and gave her a tight hug patting her.

“It’s ok, it’s alright you will be fine.”

For minutes we stood still together in silence till she finally speaks.

“I think I will travel to osogbo today.”

“Why?” I asked suprised.

“I can’t stay here, I won’t survive it, I will be there till the whole thing dies down.” She said standing to her feet.

“Ok, I understand, what are the things you need, I will see you off to the garage.”

“Thanks Maria, thank you so much, you don’t know how much I appreciate this.”

“It’s ok oo friends stick together no matter what.” I said.

“That’s right we are friends.” She replied and packed her things.

Billie’s pov

Getting a good friend is like finding a rare gem.

After packing Maria saw me off to the garage where I got a bus to osogbo.

I knew my mom and dad won’t be around at home, they are probably in office.

I took my phone and called my mom.

Hello Mom

Hello, my princess.

I want to know if you are at home, am on my way home

No, am not, am at the market, you know where we get our food stuffs, you can meet me there

Ok mom bye I said and hung up.

Just like she instructed I went to the market and met her where we get our food stuffs.

“Billie!” the woman who owns the shop said excited.

“Good afternoon ma.” I greeted with my knees on the floor.

“How are you? What about school?”

“Fine ma.” I replied.

“Why did you come home.” My mom asked counting her money.

“I just decided..”

“Wait, are you not that girl?” The woman’s daughter said sighting me.

“What girl?” Her mom asked confused as my mom looks confused too.

“Yes na, you are that girl in the sex video, mom she’s the girl I told you about.”

“What?” My mom exclaimed suprised.

“No she can’t be Billie is a good girl.” Her mom protested.

“She’s the one, am coming wait.” She said and took out her phone “look she’s the girl.”

“Oh my God!” Her mom exclaimed.

“Billie, tell me it’s a lie.” My mom said furiously.

“Mom am sorry.”

“Billie has finally kill me, you are a disgrace.” She said and landed a slap on my face as I fell to the ground due to the slap she gave me.

“Mom I can explain.” I said crying holding my cheeks the woman and her daughter just stood watching us.

“Ok, explain, I want that explanation!” She yelled and I flinched.

Now am dead, this will be my suicide.
