Ciara's POV

I know you all think that I am heartbroken and spent the whole night crying..Dears that's where you are wrong...

I have never slept so peaceful ...You know why??? Yes i was called a thief but I wasn't ready to let that define me....

But I was going to make them beg for my forgiveness...No one messes with Ciara Kimani, no one insults her in public apart from her parents and that's is if I deserve it...

I woke up and stretched myself out when my phone begun ringing...

Guess what it was my mummy... I jump up and down excitedly but my joy was short-lived when I remembered the scandal in the newspaper and blogs

. I know my sister must have told her the exaggerated version of the story...

"Hey mama...." I stammered...

"Hello my dear..." She whispered...

"Am sorry about the story you have heard. I swear I didn't want to embarrass you and Papa..." I stuttered...

"Don't cry...I just wanted to know how you are after your sister told me what happened.. I know you have no shoulder to lean on...Be strong my girl..."

My eyes were teary and my heart contented. Her checking up on me meant the world to me...

"Are you not mad???"

"Why would I??? I am proud you followed your heart but I can't go against your father

. And don't mind your sister, she is your father's daughter...I have to go, your father is coming...Love you dear..." She hanged up...

African wives always scared to go against their husbands. Were they God???

"I love you too mama..." I whispered to myself..

I don't know why but I couldn't control my tears. My mother was the one who understood what I felt and my weaknesses..She taught me to always have my stand even if the path seem stormy...She was my universe and with her by my side I could conquer the world...

"Someone is emotional..."Jane commented hugging me from behind.

"I have talked to my mom Jenny, she is not mad. She supports me. The only thing she lacks is courage to go against dad..." I wiped my tears with the back of my hands...

"That's good news love but Jordan Marcias is at the living room and he wants to talk to you..."

Now this is new...Jordan Marcias in my house, he just brought himself in the lion's den...

"What does he want???"

I turned around to face Jane...

"I don't know but you should give that man a piece of your mind. Do you know he didn't even say hey to me..."

"Don't worry, I got this...."

I walked out of my bedroom and found him looking around our living room weirdly....

"What did I steal now???" I walked towards him...

"I am here to talk about what we told the minister..." He replied arrogantly...

"What was that again??? I can't remember..." I begun looking at my nails...

"So we are going down this road...I will explain it to you like a s....."

"No need, I am not interested...As long as you don't apologise for yesterday, we aren't having any conversation..."

"Mason unfortunately claimed you are innocent. Why apologise??? Am I the one who called you a thief???"

"Get out of my house Mr Marcias...There is no room for arrogant people..."

"Is this what you call a house??? It's the size of my bedroom, how do you guys even survive in here???"

I was an emotional volcano. I didn't wanna erupt but I couldn't help it...This arrogant man was getting on my nerves...

"This is the last time, I am telling you to leave my house.." I pointed at him, "You might be rich and all mighty but you lack manners...You are a disgusting human being..Get out!!!!"

I begun pushing him but all in vain all he did was drain my energy...

"I won't let you ruin me..." He held me by my hand, "I will do whatever it takes to make the ministry happy even if I have to drag you to the aisle..."

"Then you have to drag a corpse to the aisle. I rather die than marry you..." I glared at him with hatred in my eyes...

"We will see about that..." He sounded confident...

It was like a hurricane of harsh and hoarse insults...The anger I felt was like a build up steam. Burning me on the way outout, burning the one on the deserving end...

"Find yourself out of this mess...Marry one of your many girlfriends because this one here will never ever, I repeat never ever even do anything that will benefit you. I hope you lose this contract, you don't deserve it..."

"We will see about that..." He said shaking me and I spat right in his cheek...

"Today will not end before you apologise to me..That's a promise..."

"I would never do that. I swear." He wiped the spat and pushed me to the sofa, "You will pay for this...." He furiously walked out of my house...

"That man is very arrogant, I really hate him..." Jane hissed sitting beside me.

"Jane, I need a plan before this arrogant man uses me to keep that contract..."

"Why don't you not tell Jaxon???"

"I can't tell Jaxon that....."

"What can't you tell me???"Jaxon asked standing infront of us.

"It's nothing Jaxon..."

"But I th......"

"You thought nothing....There is nothing I wanna tell you..." I snapped standing from the sofa...

"Just leave me alone Jaxon and I am not coming back to work until your brother, sister and the sister in law apologise for humiliating me. If not I can no longer work for you..."

"Please, let's talk about this calmly..." He spoke softly..

"That's my condition..."

"But I thought I saw Jordan's car driving away from this street..."

"That's my condition..." I turned on my heels and walked out of the house...

Jordan's POV

Who does that girl think she is??!

Nobody goes against me...Everyone should fear and obey me and that includes her...

I am gonna teach her a lesson that she will never forget. Me, apologise to her she must be under drugs. What does she even have, she is not even that beautiful. I wonder what Jaxon sees in her..

I was driving to work when Jaxon called for an emergency meeting at home...

What now???

When I got home everyone was seated in the living room, waiting for the mighty Jaxon...

"What is this meeting about brother???" I asked the moment he walked in..

"Don't even ask me that...You are out to ruin me..."

"What did I do brother???"

"Because of you," He begun yelling, "Ciara wants to quit her job. Don't you want my album launch to be a success..."

"So it's about that girl. You can always get another designer..." I shrugged...

"What if she quits??? Who cares???" Chloe rolled her eyes..

"It's all my fault...I accused her falsely and she got humiliated..." Sophie stuttered..

"Atleast you admit it's your fault..."Jaxon thundered..

"Are you going to let this girl be the reason of our arguments???" I asked only to worsen the situation...

"Yes because you went to her house and made her more mad. She doesn't even want to listen to me. She is like an enraged panther...I want her to work on my designs...It's either you guys apologise to her or I leave this house???"

"You are kidding right???" Mason chuckled and placed his hand on his twin's shoulder...

"Does this look like a joke to you??"

"I am not apologising to that woman..." I retorted...

"Neither am I.." Chloe seconded...

"I will .." Sophie murmured.

Sophie with her weak heart, why can't she be like Chloe???

"Fine..." Jaxon lifted his hands up in surrender, "I will leave this house then.. I can't be around people who don't wanna help me fulfill my dreams..."

He walked out on us and rushed upstairs..

"Why are you people stubborn?? Why can't you just do what Jaxon wants??Jordan you are the eldest please do something..."

My mother with being hysterical. She never wanted to see her favourite son in trouble.

"Mom, he will be okay tomorrow morning..." I replied and walked to the hallway only to see Jaxon with a suitcase...

"Brother, you can't leave???" I couldn't believe he could act so childish. Who leaves their house because of a girl??

"I can't stay with people who don't support my dreams.

. I know you hate Ciara but I need her. Why can't you all understand that???"

"My son, please don't leave. They will apologise to Ciara..Where will you live???Who will cook for you???" Mum hugged her favourite son so tight..

"Mum, let me go...They don't care..." He pulled her back and begun walking to the door.

"Jordan son do something, Mason please, Sophie and Chloe don't let my son leave or I will die..."

Damn I was pinned on the wall. I couldn't see my mother in tears or my brother leaving the house. Thanks to that crazy mud girl..

"Fine we will apologise.." I shouted when he opened the door, "Don't leave..."

I couldn't believe I made that promise..That crazy mud girl is pretty smart...She really played her cards well...

"Okay let's go..." Jaxon stated and the five of us:Me, him, Chloe, Sophie and Mason left for her house...

If that wasn't enough for my ego, we had to wait for her for almost three hours. Everytime Jaxon called her she always claimed she is almost there and Jaxon wasn't willing to let us go without apologising to her...

Finally she arrived looking all sassy..

"And where were you??? You know we have been waiting for you for hours.." I complained..

"I was at the Spa with Kendi Joy and I couldn't just leave.. "

This girl was really something...A CEO like me was forced to wait for a girl who was at the SPA..I really have bad luck..

"But..."

I wanted to give her a piece of my mind but Mason held me back...

"So what are you guys doing in my house??? Were you taken care of???"

"We are here to apologise...I am sorry..." Chloe went first. It didn't even sound like an apology..

"I am sorry too.." Sophie went second and it was now my turn.

"I am sorry..." I whispered with a bruised ego. I swore in the morning never to apologise but here I was..

"Did you say something???" She asked..

"I said sorry.." I whispered again..

"I can't hear what you are saying. Are you even talking???..."

"I said I am sorry..." I shouted with my eyes closed...She was irritating me and I couldn't handle it. What had she done to my brother that he would cross all limits to make her happy..

"Okay...I am sorry too Chloe for slapping you...

So she also knows the word sorry...

"Jaxon, see you tomorrow at work.." She hugged him and then walked to me.

"I told you, you would apologise..." She whispered onto my ear hugging me..

Dammit I can't believe I lost to her...
